Heard about colonic hydrotherapy through a girlfriend. After much conversation about it, had to try it out for my self. I was actually pretty nervous about going in for the first time, but once I met and talked to Michelle I calmed down. We talked about what the process was and before I knew it, first time was over.
Yes, it’s a bit awkward and a bit uncomfortable-​Kind of like getting a Brazilian wax, but definitely worth it. I felt lighter when I left, I felt cared for during the whole process, and I felt safe. Michelle’s expertise is comforting, as is her genuine concern for their client’s well being. I am excited to go back again and make this a regular part of my healthy living.

I have received ALOT of massages. From cheap $ 15 – 20 Asian massages to $ 120+ spa massages, and no one has yet been as good as Michelle. She understands the body and knows exactly where to massage without me telling her! I workout a lot and also stand all day for work so I always have knots and sore muscles. She is able to loosen my knots without hurting or bruising me! I actually get to enjoy a soothing and beneficial massage. Best part of all, she is consistent. I had my very first colonic done with Michelle today! It was better than I ever could have imagined! That was all thanks to Michelles professionalism! She really helped me to relax and ease into the process by educating me on everything she was doing! The room was very nice, immaculate and very warm and inviting! You can truly see and feel the passion she has for what she does as well as for her clients! It felt like two girlfriends hanging around and chatting :) I was that comfortable! I was so impressed with the treatment and Michelle and feel fantastic that I couldn’t resist buying a package from her! Both her and the treatments are worth every penny and more! I went for the first time and she explain everything too me and made me very comfortable. The room is supppppppppppper clean and very comfortable and peaceful and no mess or smells. I have been visiting Michelle for the better part of a year so she can work on my back and tense muscles particularly to alleviate some of the pain from a lower back injury. She is readily available and highly flexible in her scheduling. The staff and ambiance at the Grand is fantastic and the service is a 10. Michelle always takes the time to ask me questions about where the pain comes from and verbalizes to me how she will plan to alleviate the pain through massage technique and therapy. She always is very respectful of time and scheduling constraints that I impose, and she is extremely affordable for the work and effort put into what she does. I highly recommend Massage by Michelle for any massage therapy treatment or simply for relaxation and rejuvenation.

I’ve never had a massage in my life and was anxious about having one. Michelle helped me understand that a massage is more than someone rubbing your muscles. She helped me appreciate how the therapist has to connect with the client so the client can relax. Muscles then relax and benefit from the massage. Its a very personal experience and Michelle did a great job of helping me feel comfortable. I referred my wife to Michelle right afterwards. Michelle is great, The Grand is lucky to have her and should promote massage services more!

I trust michelle to do my Hydrocolonic. She is very knowledgable and up to date on the benefits of it. You feel at ease with her and knows what she is doing.
For stressful, days I go to her for a massage. She really get those knots out and when it s too tight will tell you to breath through it. Her massages are very effective and relaxing.

Michelle is an experienced and attentive massage therapist. My career demands a lot from my neck, shoulders and back. Michelle has a way of doing a deep tissue massage that is both therapeutic and relaxing. She expertly works out my tight knotted up muscles. The Grand salon that she works in has a very quiet and private area where the massages and other treatments are performed. I never once heard any noise from the rest of the salon-​which can be distracting. I have also given gift certificates to friends and family for Michelle’s services and everyone has enjoyed her treatments.

Michelle at the Grand in Brea is a life saving angel. Her massages have improved the quality of my life. Having diabetes and hypertension I was plagued with neuropathy in my feet and muscle spasms throughout my body. Some of the knots were Iin my back so long they became residents with names mostly job related. Michelle’s healing hands has removed every knot in my back. My toes no longer curl up with nerve damage and I can walk and even dance with no foot pain.

I love getting massages and when I went to the other guys in «The Mall», I felt relaxed but it never felt complete. I was longing for more and they didn’t listen to me about my problem areas.

She started off explaining what she was going to do and she found problem areas that I didn’t even know they existed. She reminded me to breathe when she found a tight muscle and we worked through the pain.

A few months ago I started feeling my age with various muscle pains throughout my body. Exercise was helping, but I still continued to feel chronic pain in neck, back and hips. I started Unilocaling for places that offer massages in my area. The Grand came up with many positive reviews but none specifically for their massages services. I took a chance and made an appointment.
The Grand itself is a nice large establishment, with salon stations out in front and the massage/​spa area located in the back with quiet private rooms. The whole facility was clean, nicely decorated and very well run with courteous and friendly staff throughout.
I was introduced to Michelle, my certified massage therapist. She kindly offered me some water and guided me to a nicely decorated, private room. Relaxing music and dim lighting completed the ambiance. After I was comfortable on the table, Michele came back to the room and I told her where it hurt and she began to assess the areas of concern. During the time she applied Deep Tissue Massage Therapy to the troubled areas. She did a great job of finding the troubled areas and slowly working at them little by little. Enough pressure was applied indicating that she found the right spot, but not too much that causes you to jump off the table. It’s that feeling that kind of hurts but at the same time you don’t want her to stop because is also feels kind of good. I was a little sore through the next day, but that just meant Michelle did her job very well. Upper back and hips felt better through the rest of the week. Michelle is very sweet and a pleasure to chat with throughout the session, but she will also allow you to just relax during the time, if needed. I love her open and honest attitude. I’m one tense and tight dude, so telling me I need relax more, stretch and be aware when I tense up or my golden years are going to be difficult is what I needed to hear.
It has been about 4 or 5 months since my first visit and I have had over 10 massages with Michelle since that time. The sessions typically cover the entire body (including arms, legs, fingers and toes) with focus on the areas needing the most work. I’m not going to say that a miracle has occurred and I am now 100% pain free. But, I truly do feel better throughout my entire body, with less cringing and cracking when I move. I am and have been one tense person for such a long time that I will continue to need the services of Michelle at least on a monthly basis for maintenance.
The price point is comparable for a place of this quality. Various multi-​session packages are available for a greater discount. I typically make an appointment a couple of days in advance and they are nice to leave a message the evening prior as a confirmation.
