Chose this place on a whim … But glad I did… It’s a counter service restaurant. But you still have a waitress that comes to table. Pretty packed on a Friday night. Quite a few ppl ordering to go. After looking at menu. We both decided on Lobster Ravioli with shrimp… Delicious! It came in a Rosa Sauce… Perfect match to the lobster. It comes with Two sourdough rolls… Very good, although I would prefer French rolls. Caesar salad was good. As was my glass of Pinot Grigio.

I came into Lascari’s because I saw the sign that said $ 6.99 lunch specials. However, soon after I sat I discovered there were actually no lunch specials… There was a lunch menu and most items on it started $ 7.99. I was a bit disappointed, however I was still intrigued by the food. So I stayed. And I’m glad I did! My lunch meal came with a salad and fresh bread! The salad is delicious and covered with kidney and garbanzo beans! I ordered the pesto pasta and was not disappointed. It was worth every penny! I’m so glad I stayed!

Avoid this place food is so so but the manager has no customer service skills. I will never eat at a place where the customer is insulted. If he runs the front of the house this way I can only imagine how he treats his staff and his food. Save your money take it to Olive Garden if you feel like wasting it.

Just ok, had chicken pesto needed any kind of flavor it was tasteless, my husband had Tuscan white fish and that was actually good. We also had the garlic puffs, whoever came up w em was out of ideas. They should put cheese inside and maybe that will make em worth it.

Lascaris never disappoints! Always great food and great service! Not to mention a very pleasant atmosphere! Tonight I had pizza which was just right. A great go to on any night. And if you’re a lasagna lover, come here!

Had a amazing dinner tonight! Rose was an awesome server, super helpful and friendly. Food is always great. We will definitely be back again. Oh and did I mention the bread?! Who doesn’t love warm bread? Just don’t get to full from that …

I’ve only been here three times. Every time is better. Their meat sauce is so delicious, meatballs are amazing — they taste fresh and have a slight basil hint, bread is fresh and soft. Definitely a place I’ll continue coming back to. If there were 10 stars, they would get that.

Lascari’s lasagna has been my favorite since I was a little girl and it still is! Excellent wine choices! Best in OC! My 2 new favorites are The Rule Cabernet and The Prisoner Blend both from Napa! Brand new patio with 2 tv’s outside!

Well this is the first time we had ever heard of Lascari’s and it has been around for 40 years! What a great find in Brea! Great service from the beginning to end. Extremely prompt, courteous, and on point at all levels. We ordered the lasagna, eggplant parmigiana and Chicken Alfredo. The sauce used had great flavor and I was really surprised as most marinara sauces used at most restaurants are afraid to use spices to provide flavor. Not here, the seasoning was really good. Also, the fresh baked bread was awesome! I could have had basket after basket :) If you go for the specials before 5pm, the bang for buck is truly remarkable. Soup or salad, drink, entrée and dessert for 8.99. Wow! Again, even at twice the price during normal hours, the portions were great and the taste is really worth exploring. A true gem found in Brea! We will be back.

Horrible place for groups. If you have a large group you are limited to only a small portion of the menu. The offer only two gluten free options so if you don’t like pizza or pasta you’re screwed. There is no meat on the limited menu. You would think they would encourage the meat options since they are more expensive but whatever, their loss. It seems like they are very unprepared for large parties, even though we have had this place booked for a rehearsal dinner for ages. The management is horrible, argumentative, and rude. I will never book a group event here again.

Fantastic customer service. Everyone that works here are so kind and helpful. They really care about their customers! The food is good too! My favorite is their marinara sauce, meatballs, and and angel hair pasta! I absolutely love their ABC sub sandwiches! This is a nice building as well, lovely interior, and very relaxing ambience.

They look good, they smell good, they are overcooked. :-/this place would be perfect and have 4 stars if they did not overcooked their pasta. It’s really tasty just the pasta falls apart the second you try putting a fork into it. VERY Mushy pasta. They need to not cook it so long. The minestrone soup tastes like it’s from a can. Only place who does minestrone right is Olive Garden. No one else has compared.

We got takeout one night, and were extremely impressed by the service. The food was very good, but I’m sure it would have been even better if it was consumed in the restaurant and not subjected to the extra time in containers in the car. We got chicken parm and eggplant parm dinners; both were very good. I was a little surprised by the mixed veggies, but they were good, as well. I will probably ask for them in a side container the next time I order takeout, as they got a little soggy in the container with the pasta. We also got cannoli, which was very good, and some gelato(good). Our dinners came with a choice of salad or soup(lentil); we got one of each, and enjoyed both. Overall, we enjoyed everything. However, what truly impressed me was the service. We waited a little while longer than we had been told on the phone, which was no problem. The servers could not have been more considerate; they offered to bring us drinks, gave us samples of gelato, and were extremely apologetic for the(minor) wait. While we waited, we observed the staff interact with some children and other patrons, and we were amazed by the friendly and welcoming atmosphere the staff created.

It’s rare that a restaurant is out-shined by its condensed to go version. But Lascari’s pulled it off. I had not been to this restaurant in over 7 years, but i returned last friday evening. Wow, it’s so bad. I’ve talked bad about Olive Garden being a chain restaurant the serves up undesirable food, but holy crap Lascari’s food was inedible. Typically, we go to Francoli to satisfy our cravings for italian food, but this time we decided to hit up something local to our neighborhood. We sampled 2 different Pinot’s offered by the glass, yeah, no so bad. We decided to stick with iced tea & diet soda. Ordered our food with an appetizer & salads, and while ordering we could tell our waitress might be having a not so great evening. Oh well, some people have bad days, we understand. We might not be getting the greatest service tonight, but as long as its average, we can deal with it & get through our meal. Salads & beverages came out fine & were tolerable. We finished our salads, & the waitress dropped off our bruschetta, and for some reason left our finished salad plates at our table. Interesting… We each took a bite of the bruschetta & quickly put it back down on the plate because it was truly awful. The bread was stale & lacked a proper crisp that you expect from bruschetta, a sour balsamic was overwhelming the flavor of the snack, and the tomatoes were soggy, nothing on this appetizers tasted fresh. So we slid the plate of bruschetta to the center of the table away from us. And we waited with concern about how bad our entrees might be… And we continued to wait as our waitress looked at our table, looked at the bruschetta & dirty used salad plates still sitting on our table. And we waited some more while our server walked past our table 4 times, & talked to the table right behind us that was also having a not so great dining experience. The waiting continued about 10 more minutes as we looked around the dining room for anyone that could possibly be a manager to speak with regarding the unsatisfactory experience we were having. I guess all the employees must have been too busy so i decided to help & took my dirty dishes off my table & handed them to the staff at the counter. I informed them of my poor experience & that i would be leaving. I guess i’ll stick to the Lascari’s to go location.

Questo ristorante non è molto buona. Say what? This place is no bueno. Why? First, there service is mediocre. We were a party of 4, they bring 3 rolls. We order soup, it’s lukewarm. We ask for Iced Tea, we get tea that’s warm enough to melt the 3 ice cubes. The pasta wasn’t bad but again, not warm. What a disappointment. Don’t think I’ll ever be back. Too bad.

Best creamy Pesto I’ve had. Thank you to a friend of ours for taking is to Lascari’s. They love it. A great Italian family restaurant that serves awesome, authentic Italian food with great service. The interior is a bit outdated in my opinion, but that’s alright. Too bad we live too far :( Complimentary bread and olive oil, balsamic vinegar and roasted garlic for dipping are the BEST!!! I had to stop myself from eating so much of them so I won’t get too full. Grilled Salmon with creamy pesto on a bed of risotto. ORDERIT!!! Perfectly cooked salmon and risotto. OMG so good, my mouth gets watery just thinking about it. Seafood Combo in wine sauce and linguine. It has mix of shrimp, mussels, clams and scallops. Perfectly cooked seafood and you can really taste the white wine. ORDERIT!!! We wanted calamari, but they were out, so the manager came to out table and offered us a free appetizer of our choice. Awesome! If you’re ever in BREA and craving for good, authentic Italian food, I highly recommend this place.

Tonight was my third time having Lascari’s and the food has never failed me. Last time I went, I was in a group of about 20 people, so the service was not as good/quick as it normally may be. Tonight, however, the restaurant wasn’t packed at all. We were immediately seated and given water, and our bread was brought out fairly quickly. Our server didn’t engage with us too much, but it really didn’t take away from the experience at all. Our food was brought out in a timely manner and, as always, it was good. I ordered the lasagna and loved it. I was only able to eat half though, so I guess I’ll be having Lascari’s again for lunch tomorrow! My friends both ordered the baked ziti and seemed to like it. The only complaint with that dish was that the meatsauce essentially lacked meat… All in all, good dishes with generous portions. I’m sure I’ll be back soon!

Easily the WORST service I have ever received for a large party at a restaurant. The servers sat our party of around 40+ people in two squished tables in the patio, and told us bread would be out promptly. Bread took 45min to be brought to the table. We ordered almost an hour after sitting down. Some of our party didn’t receive their meals and ended up leaving, since it took sooo long. The food itself was okay. At the end of the meal, one of the servers dropped off a check FOURFEETLONG and left us to fend for ourselves. When we asked if we could split it, she snapped back that we should’ve told her in the beginning. Really? You wouldn’t think to ask us in a party of 40+ people? The servers had no idea what they were doing. At the end, we had to suggest an idea to make it easier for them to have us pay one by one at the register off the tab, a process that took another 45min-1hour. The server had a bad attitude the whole time. Ridiculous. I understand that we had a lot of people, but the servers were just plain rude, and there was no help from management.

Really worn down restaurant, desperately needs some TLC. Perfect candidate for Kitchen Nightmares. Tabletops were visibly worn out, really old dirty carpets, and old utensils and dining-ware. It was just not pleasant. Only stopped by because I had a coupon. 1 extra star for their friendly service; our server was really nice. On to the food… Spaghetti/Meatballs: It tasted and smelled just like Spaghetti-Os, even the meatballs. I suppose that’s not bad if you’re into that kind of thing. I would imagine these meatballs would be what cat food would taste like. Grilled Chicken Salad: uh. what? Did I just get some left over lettuce from Carl’s Jr next door? The chicken was fried, not grilled. The chicken tasted like mystery meat. It was the saddest salad I’ve ever had. Gelato: Icy, and old. You know, that texture when you’ve left ice cream way too long in your freezer. Tiramisu: Yes, I can throw some lady fingers and heavy cream in a cup and call it a dessert. I’m amazed this restaurant has so many locations. Maybe the other locations are better? Maybe this one is just the forgotten child of the bunch. Like other reviewers, I can go on, but it’d just be mean. I’m not even sure how this place stays open. You’re really better off going to Olive Garden.

Good alternative to budda di beppo or olive garden! Maybe not the BEST italian restaurant but i tend to rate restaurants based on its category/competition. Highlights: 1) When you first go in, while you are waiting they offer you free samples of the gelato! 2) My ma got some kinda steak… i dont recall wut it was and normally i would NEVER get steak at a restaurant that wasnt a steakhouse… much less an italian restaurant… much less a chain italian restaurant… however i was pleasantly surprised! The steak was juicy and tender. It was probably the best thing o the nite! 3) Veal Spiedini– I usually always try to try sumthin new and sumtimes its a gamble that pays off and sumtimes it isnt… While the dish was good it wasnt wut i was expecting. However I can respect the fact that it was made well. This was kind of like a stuffed veal cept in roll form. It is stuffed wit cheese, salami, n red onion. Its cool if u wana try sumthin different but if ur lookin more for a grill… id suggest the veal parmigania. We ordered an appetizer n they forgot but they quickly made up for it with free spumoni. Overall id say my dining experience was good here. Solid service and solid food. Its a great alternative to the BJ’s, Cheese steak factory, n olive garden, etc…
