Stayed at this hotel 2 nights due our nursing iv class was just up the street and walk able distance instead of driving from l. a to brea everyday for 3 days especially with these gas prices. we checked in room was clean flat screen tv had a stove with pans and dishes which helps out since alberstons is one street up and you can cook instead of going to fast food places around the area. checked the bed no bed bugs or stains the only bad thing i have to say is that the bath tub was small and had rusty stains on it. other than that its a pretty decent hotel has free wifi and a little gym on the back. if you need clean towels yes you must bring the dirty ones to the front desk for new ones, not a big deal just put used ones in the bag and walk it to the front desk(if after a 12hour class i can do it and not complain neither should you) overall decent hotel for a decent prize, you want full room service get ur ass into a hilton

Never again! This place is a dump. We arrived with a team checked in with 6 rooms with a club team. Each room smelled terrible, the beds have bugs. After one night most of the kids had rushes on their backs and their arms. After the second night we come back at the hotel after the game, we find police cars and SWAT teams because of a crime scene… we left in 10 minutes.

For the price it was a decent hotel. I was hoping for a little more space and an acceptable tub to relax in, but the room was tiny and the tub had scratches and repair marks. For one night it did the trick.

I never thought to review hotels before so this will be a first. During my check in I requested to see the room before signing any paperwork just in case. What I found was someone else’s hair all over the bathroom tub and sink. What? And this room was cleaned? Ewwwwwwwww! Seriously? This place is obviously not cleaning up after the previous occupants. It made me shudder to think what the bed would be like. They probably use the same sheets and just frebreeze the heck out of them or something. I canceled my reservation then and there. No way in heck was I gonna stay at a place where their standards are questionable.

My email reservation confirmation from Priceline indicated a smoking room. .. I had to contact the hotel to request a non-smoking room on uppermost floor. .. hotel staff unable to provide accurate driving directions to the property or information about local drive times to popular destinations such as Disneyland. .. request for a quiet room on 3rd floor, facing away from traffic was unfulfilled at check-in. .. initial room assignment had an obnoxious odor of a room deodorizer masking the prior presence of a dog. .. second room assignment had the odious bouquet of a recently prepared meal lingering. .. finally, the third room assignment allowed me a room facing away from traffic. .. the room was missing one of two night stands and one sliding, closet door. Hence, you had the option of viewing the ironing board or your clothes. .. the remote control for the antiquated, small TV did not work. .. was initially unable to log onto the Internet since the front desk clerk assigned the wrong pass code. .. shortly after checking in to my room the hotel temporarily lost it’s telephone and Internet service. .. was subjected to needless aggravation and unnecessary inconvenience of driving to an off-site Wi-Fi location to transmit a few urgent business emails. .. don’t expect any for a change of sheets or even clean bath towels being replaced in your room unless you have a minimum stay of one week. .. your only option is a trip to the front desk, schlepping your dirty towels, whereupon you will receive clean ones in exchange. .. apparently good housekeeping rules don’t seem to apply at this hotel property. .. a heavily soiled bottom mattress was an eyesore. .. had to pre-rinse the shower before initial use. .. bathroom was minus any toilet paper.. . the stairwells and balcony’s were littered with cigarette butts and other debris from inconsiderate guests .. . trash was over flowing from stairwell waste receptacles. .. the blue collar presence of hotel guests provided everything from loud and obnoxious children playing on the hotel’s luggage cart outside my room to the loathsome and argumentative couple in the adjacent room awakening me at night and terrifying the children in their presence. .. a check of the local surrounding area indicated traveler’s have a choice of better hotel accommodations to choose from and enjoy their stay especially if you opt not to use the ‘name your own price option’ on Priceline’s website.

I found this Hotel on my business trips to California — I found this place to be exactly what I need(and I have a Spartan-attitude) when traveling. It has a bed, a shower, a toilet, Wi-fi, basic essentials as a traveling businessman. However, the added bonus of a TV, and a kitchenette is truly an added bonus. There’s two small stoves, and a small set of cookware. Though, you will have to wash your own dishes by hand — which I don’t mind. There is a small fridge/freezer in the kitchenette. I haven’t personally used the cookware/stove as I’m not in the hotel long enough to use the hardware — but it all seem in working order, and pot/pan are clean enough to cook in, though they are showing visible signs of wear. The service was good, I usually get checked in under 5 minutes, and I’m off doing my work. Location wise, it’s about 10 – 15 minutes away(walking) from a grocery store, and a few eateries, so not that bad. Sound wise — it’s pretty quiet — but it becomes really quiet after 2100 — the only thing I hear are some cars pulling up, or showers running. Nothing too obnoxious. Wi-fi wise, the performance was as expected — slow. It takes me a while to download under a hundred megs worth of email. Price wise — I believe it’s a pretty good price for the basic essentials as a place to stay for the night. If you’re looking for a no-frills hotel with the basics, and near a grocery store — I believe this is a good place.
