Stopped in a few weeks back while visiting some local peeps. Plenty of nuggets, gems, and standard fare here. Prices were reasonable for both new and used albums. Well organized, clean, and friendly staff. Will stop by again for sure.

Awesome shop! I’ll be honest, the artwork in the window(records with Star Wars themed day of the dead style artwork) is what drew me in – the staff was super friendly though, chatting about his recent star wars movie going experience, and taking about the other posters and prints. The store had an amazing section of vinyl records, speakers, record players, etc. I’ll be recommending this place to my vintage vinyl loving friends in the area for sure!

Great record store and a solid, friendly guy working there. Reasonable pricing. Will definitely return there anytime I’m in Brattleboro. Keep the wax spinning, my friend.

These guys rule. They are helpful and know lots of stuff, and best of all, they aren’t dicks.

I was visiting Brattleboro, and I checked out the record stores. In The Moment had a large selection and good prices. They had many common records, though none of the less common titles I was looking for. I also liked their stereo equipment selection, though I didn’t take note of the prices. One star off because the employees?/owner? were openly discussing the types of customers they didn’t like. It’s your place, do what you like, but I find the staff less approachable after I’ve overheard them dissing customers.

One of the best record stores in New England, IMO. Great stock. Friendly, knoweledgeable owner/staff. Good sections. THE best thing about this store is the condition of the used stock. In so many places the bins are filled with VG condition platters that shouldn’t even be for sale. Not here. The condition of the 60s and 70s(and later) records are above average for a used store.

Oh, man I dig this place! Jesse and I came in here this past weekend and spent a lot of time, and about $ 100 in there. We could have easily spent much more time and a holy hell of a lot more money if we had more pennies to spend. First off, this is what I think of when I think of a record shop. It’s well organized, it has some chatchkis, and the vinyl is rated based on condition. I LOVE it. I didn’t come across anything misfiled, which is hard to come by in a record store. We found things you just don’t find in a run of the mill store-first off, they clearly care about the condition. I didn’t pull out a record to look at that wasn’t clean. They also had piles of records you don’t see a lot of(at least in Boston) like lots of Stones, rare imports of a variety of things, and my big score was a rare live Modern Lovers album. Hotness. The service was great, and it’s a family owned local business. Also, In The Moment does sell on ebay if you’re looking for anything rare… they also had a pretty big selection of jazz records if that’s your thing. We’ll be back again, and really, it’s a blessing that I don’t live closer because I’d be broke.
