The Men’s Room Barber & Spa

This past weekend I brought my brother and his groomsmen to The Men’s Room for haircuts and shaves on the morning of his wedding day. Despite potentially icy roads (Winter Storm Jonas), TMR remained open and accommodating for us on our important day.
We were greeted by a FLEET of amazing barbers ready to serve the 6 of us in enough time for us to return to Athens for the wedding. TMR provided our group with biscuit sandwiches, donuts and «hair of the dog» refreshments for breakfast. A very welcomed sight after the rehearsal dinner and party the night before. We were all very impressed.
Customer service is clearly held to the very highest standard at The Men’s Room Barber and Spa. If you are in the area and are currently getting your haircut at a chain barber/​salon, come experience what kind of service and attention you can receive when you spend more than $ 11.

I had a great experience at this barber shop. I will definitely be returning back! They were really friendly and welcoming. Ashley was my hairstylist, and she really listened to what style I wanted. I was really satisfied with my haircut.

Been coming here for a few years now. I don’t have a regular stylist as I pop in on a whim with out a reservation. Haircut, shave and a beard trim, always happy when I leave.

We recently moved to the area and my wife stumbled across this place on Unilocal,while looking for our boys & I a nice haircut.
Wow! Just, wow. Amazing haircut, trim w/​a straight razor, warm towel and massage all come with the basic scissor cut. I’m looking forward to future visits to check out some of the services.
Cool décor, super friendly stylists and «old-​school» vibe. All combined makes you feel at home. Reminded me of the barbershop I went to with my father growing up, but with a modern twist. Highly recommend!

Bad week at the office? Find time to get by this place, men. A massage from April will make you forget all about your troubles. Treat yourself to a shave from Sheena; she is truly one of the sweetest folks you’ll be lucky enough to meet.

I’ve been coming here to get my haircut for about a year and a half. I really don’t know why I waited so long to write this review, but my long history can help you make a solid choice.
The owner, Belinda has assembled a quality, all female team of barbers. They do it all from the basic cut to color to shampoo, to (my favorite) a warm lather neck shave. It you want them to tend to your facial hair with a straight razor they do that here as well.
Belinda always takes care of me and I’m happy with my consistently good haircuts. The shampoo service is worth the extra time and money with the mint hair products giving your scalp a nice tingle. I like the machine shoulder rub that concludes the hair cut.
The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is that I’ve had better face shaves at other locations. I didn’t care for the fact that an electric shaver is used to start it off and a slower stroke with the straight edge razor would’ve given a closer shave. But lets face it, that’s an infrequent service. The main point of this place is a quality haircut for a decent price by good people and that’s what you find here.
