Pat’s is a local eatery onOld Winder Highway/Hwy 211 in Braselton, GA. They have a varied menu with good wholesome food. Portion size is generous. Service is excellent. Owner is there and will go above and beyond to satisfy a customer if there are any problems. We highly recommend this family owned business.

I’ve eaten at Pat’s before and loved it, so I was pretty disappointed tonight. Starting out, we ordered the $ 13 cheese plate. Once it was brought out, it contained sliced deli cheese, canned fruit, and a handful of fresh grapes. We were shocked and let down in the presentation and quality of food. Not only was that a let down, but our entrees were only subpar. All in all, a disappointing experience at a restaurant in a such a high end area.

Pat’s is an outstanding restaurant. Excellent food, service and pricing. Club sandwich at lunch is enough for two meals. Great menu variety with plenty of salad choices to keep the ladies happy. Family run far superior to the big chains taking over the resturant business.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT go to Pat’s Eatery. The is story is too long to write, but the highlights are are rude waitress, crazy manager, over two hours to eat a simple meal, a second waitress throwing up and then being left in the restaurant while the entire staff was outside in the back lot doing who knows what, while we sat stuck alone in the restaurant… Best part was the the manager told us that we should get over it, that our waitress was throwing up and it wasn’t their problem and they didn’t need to justify what they were doing outside!

We have eaten at Pat’s several times since they opened and I realize every new restaurant goes through opening pains, needing to work out some kinks. The owners are very friendly and the food portions are more than ample, with fantastic salads. With that said, our recent visits for dinner will be our last for a while: 1. The temperature in the restaurant is extremely warm for dinner time. This could be because the sun is beaming into the windows, and although it appears they are using some type of solar shades to help with this, it is still not a very comfortable room to sit in while enjoying a glass of wine with your meal. I tend to have the opposite problem of being too cold in a room but this was simply uncomfortable. The same problem was happening almost a month ago as well and we had forgotten about it until we walked in again. 2. Both the wait staff and kitchen appeared to be completely overwhelmed for the number of guests in the room. We were told twice that bread/butter was on its way but it never came. It was very difficult to get attention of a server for beverage refills. Bottom line is that we both left with the sense that we needed to find a new place to go for the next time.

Arrived at 9:30 for Father’s Day brunch. Ordered French toast for my daughter, eggs Benedict and two eggs over medium for my husband and I– did not receive our meals until 10:15. The French toast was dry and had no taste, my daughter only took a few bites. The restaurant was not prepared at all for the Sunday crowd. The two servers seemed completely overwhelmed. No refills on drinks, had to ask for check-never received it from our server. We asked the hostess for our check because our server never returned to our table. We let the hostess know how disappointed we were with the service. She apologized, but our server never apologized when he came with our bill. All he was concerned about was complaining how busy he was… The servers were completely preoccupied with other tables and basically ignored us the entire time. Very disappointing meal.

I have tried the Eatery 3 different times. I have been unhappy with food and service each time. We have ordered items that are on the printed menu, only to be informed — no longer offered. Orders are bungled, not brought out complete. Checks that are really over charged. A staff that is not very attentive. A staff very under trained in how to use an order entry electronic device at table side. Not a chance of a 4th visit.

They just opened so they are still working out a few kinks but the food was delicious and a great value for the money. The proportion sizes were just right and the quality was top notch. Make sure to try the cheese grits. Update — 6÷3÷16, we love this place. Great food and great staff. The breakfast brunch in Sunday’s is awesome. Now that summer is here for the kids I think my wife and kids are coming here at least three times a week.

WOW! This is a great place to eat. The food is very high quality(they baked from scratch) and it’s a cute little family owned business. It’s difficult to be in the restaurant business and this one does not have the best store front but I assure you what’s inside is great! My family and I went for Sunday brunch and it was packed. There was 8 of us and we were made a table for and our server came over to us immediately and poured fresh coffee and got us waters. Then asked what drinks we would like, at first we assumed they were not included, but they were which was a nice surprise. We all got in line and watched as the Chiefs cooked some delicious French toast. When I got up to the buffet there was such a wide variety of food– my favorite being the Eggs Benedict. After we had all sat down and began eating our waitress checked on us and got us refills plenty of times during our brunch(I’ve never had bad service here!) All in all: the food was great, service was great, it’s fresh and fast and delicious. I would highly recommend stopping by this quaint little restaurant if you are in the area!

I wanted to like this place so much after seeing the corned beef and the brisket sandwiches. However you can’t get these at dinner. Went there tonite and it wasn’t good enough to go back. My son got a soda without ice. I asked for a yuengling and the woman(waitress helper) went to the coke machine to get it. It took awhile to place an order for drinks that we ordered drinks and entrees at the same time. My wife and daughter split the fish and chips($ 2 charge even though they also ordered a salad. Fish was delicious, chips were cold. My son got Caesar salad with buffalo chicken. Chicken was great, salad not so much. Watered down lettuce and weak dressing. I got the shrimp po boy, shrimp was cooked well, but bread was stale and fries were cold. The protein in all of our entrees were great and flavorful, but everything else about this meal was disappointing.

Was her last Sunday for brunch. Very good. The food was excellent an all you can eat buffet. Get the eggs benedict, you won’t be disappointed. The muffins were awesome! Will definitely be back!

I appreciate your response. It wasn’t just the lack of protein(and, it would be awesome to show what the«regular» portion of meat looks like in your menu – I get the marketing technique but… c’mon, it’s corned beef on a corned beef sandwich – not filet mignon!). Another issue that I should have raised was the disregard for requests to the sandwiches. When my to-go order was placed, I specifically asked for swiss cheese and russian dressing(ala Reuben) on my corned beef sandwich. Unfortunately, no cheese or dressing were on the sandwich – only meat and rye bread. My lunch-mate, who ate-in instead of ordering to-go, also ordered a sandwich and it was given to him plain. If all sandwiches come plain, I would suggest explaining this in the menu so customers can request a sandwich be made to order.

Ate lunch here yesterday for the very first time. Definitely a great place! The front is very inconspicuous but when you walk in, the restaurant is open, airy and you have a nice view of the open kitchen. The server greeted me quickly and told me about the lunch combos. I ordered the turkey and gouda sandwich and a side of coleslaw. It came out super fast. Sandwich was great and the bread was very fresh. The coleslaw is a vinegar based coleslaw but definitely recommend it.

Great local sandwich shop! We were greeted by the owners mother who was so kind. The house salad is so good… I highly recommend their turkey sandwich. One tip… it is very cold in the restaurant so bring a jacket. Seriously you could hang meat in this place it is so cold.

I gave it a second chance before giving my review. Unfortunately that has not improved my opinion. First time I went, it was not busy at all… maybe 4 tables were full. It took 15 minutes to gets drinks(water and tea)…another 45 minutes to get my Lobster Bisque soup appetizer and another 70 mins to get our meals. Food was good, but certainly not anything to write home about. Second chance to do better. Took my 10 yr old with me. Was fairly busy, but plenty of tables empty. Got our drinks and my soup within 20 mins. Definite improvement there. But then, my meal(Shrimp Scampi) came out 55 mins later and my son’s meal(Chicken Sandwich) came out 20 mins after that. Yes you read that correctly. My son’s meal came out 20 mins after mine. He liked it, but good grief…75 mins to get one shrimp scampi and one chicken sandwich. Our server was great and so apologetic. He is the only reason we left with a smile. The owner was incredibly rude to him when he was asking him about our meals. He yelled at our server and was very disrespectful to him. Mr. Owner, just b/c you’re the owner, doesn’t give you the right to treat your staff like that… especially when they are trying to keep YOUR customers happy b/c of your slow chef service. So all in all, the food is good, but unless you have 2 to 2 ½ hours to spare, I would go somewhere else. It’s the perfect first date kind of place. It’ll give you plenty of time to talk and get to know each other and the ambiance is nice.

We’ve tried Pat’s Eatery for both breakfast and dinner, and have enjoyed both. The pancakes are excellent, and the coffee was flavorful. For dinner, we had the grouper and the citrus chicken, again, both were very good. The rolls that were served with dinner were well-proportioned and tasty, but it was hard to have only two. The service both times was friendly, efficient and attentive. We’ll definitely go back, and hopefully will soon make it a «regular haunt».

We entered Pats Eatery and was amazed at the open kitchen and very friendly greeting we received. The place was filled with afternoon customers. After being seated and looking at the menu I ordered the ½ Sandwich(Gourmet Chicken Salad Sandwich) & Soup(broccoli cheddar soup). My wife selected the Roast Turkey Wrap & French Fries. The place has a great atmosphere and I noticed that the chef came to tables and engaged costumers for feedback. I think that is awesome! I was looking at other plates on tables thinking about what I wanted to try next time. My only complaint is that we were only checked on once by our server Michael after receiving our food. The only reason I’m complaining about that is we noticed that the other servers were constantly checking on customers around us, but not checking on us. We needed napkins so by the third go around from the female server, I stopped her and asked for a few napkins and some extra avocado spread. For a minute I got the impression that I was bothering her like«you’re not my table but I’ll get it». The server promptly returned with napkins and some extra avocado spread. That is when our server Michael came to the table and checked on us. When we were done eating, «I thought» the server usually comes over and ask if you would like dessert or anything else and that didn’t happen. We looked around and it was hard to find the servers because most of them were out back on what appeared to be a smoke break after the lunchtime rush. They came back in and got right back to work, no one washed their hands. We had to call a server over for our bill and was asked were we finished and my wife clearly had ½ of sandwich wrap left on her plate. Now, we responded yes, but she quickly went to grab my wife’s plate to discard it. My wife had to stop her and ask for a box. When she return with the box and bill she let us know that«Michael said thank you» and walked away. I really wanted to give this place a 5 star in all(because of the food) but Meh, we have experienced better service.

Excellent food and service. Waitress was sweet and took good care of us. We ate a Rueben and Philly Cheese steak and both were tasty. The potato salad was delicious and I want more! The owner came by and offered us fresh, baked cookies. The tea was great too! Highly, highly recommended!
