Steak and chicken teriyaki, the beef was just not cooked properly and was hacked up. The miso soup was just a powder mix from a package very sad. The steak did not appear to be any type of real estate seem to be a lower quality cut of meat. The gyoza was just frozen from a bag. The Box dinner and was okay.

Surprisingly great sushi! Maybe not authentic, but close-to-home sushi for us and we loved it! The the Viking roll and lobster roll were perfect! Great miso and house salad dressing as well!

The sushi was great! I highly recommend the 911. It’s a little hot but absolutely delicious. Do yourself a favor and eat here at least once while in town.

Came in at 5pm on a Saturday, This was the most fresh sushi I’ve ever had with fast service! Tons to choose from too! Great atmosphere and I would definitely come here again.

Yummy! The boxes were generous and very tasty. On the edge of family friendly, but my preteens loved the food. A little on the pricy side, but worth it.

We ate here for dinner. The people there were very friendly. Our waitress was very informative of the items on the menu. Her suggestions were very good. The chicken teriyaki was very good. I like the way they cut it. The sushi tasted fresh. The Bulgogi which is Korean Beef with onions were very good. I know we chuckled at Korean being served in a Japanese restaurant but we ordered it anyway! The interior was cute.

This is absolutely the best place for sushi. We love Wykaoto. We have been here a million times and always have a great experience. The owners really take an interest in their customers and are more often than not, the ones preparing the food and serving. If we have the little one with us, they will bring her her own miso, because they remember she loves it, or occasionally a desert. We have tried almost every special roll. We recommend the raw boat roll, wakyoto special roll, Japanese tuna ball, or the spicy trio roll. I really appreciate that it’s not mostly cream cheese or fried rolls like a lot of the places from Branson to Springfield. They’re squid salad and egg rolls are exceptional, as well as their miso is seriously the best I’ve ever had. I cannot say enough about this place. They are just the best.

The sushi was great, really good. The teriyaki was delicious, my only complaint is to much dressing on the salad. But it was quite enjoyable.

It’s a very nice casual place. I really liked that they had bamboo shades to separate each table. Enjoyed the hot tea and Miso soup. The simple sushi(Cali roll and tuna avocado didn’t have as MUCH flavor as I’ve had before but the Hawaii roll was very tasty. :)

Had an early dinner. The service was pleasant and fast. We each had a bento box. Our food met our expectations. I have had better but it was certainly tasty. I did think it was a little high in price but I would go there again when we are in Branson.

I love LOVE Wakyoto! I’ve been going there several times a month for years. The owners and servers are always friendly and treat their regulars well! The Sushi?! Amazing! The quality is always good and the regular dishes I get are consistant. Considering Branson is a small down the sushi you will get here will be amazing!

Wonderful selection. I had the Eagle Eye Roll and the Scorpion Roll. Both were delicious. Service was quick, but had a hard time understanding each other due to heavy accent. A little too pricey, but everything is here in Branson.

Stopped in today for a late lunch of Hawaiian roll and the sushi sampler. I must admit I’m a bit skeptical eating sushi in Branson Missouri. I was pleasantly surprised that the service was fast and the food was excellent. It was a little pricier than I wanted to pay but it was worth it.

We stopped at Wasabi last night for something«not FRIED» and although we had read mixed reviews from fellow Unilocalers we decided to try it out. We were told from the guy who seated us that it would be a minute bc the server was running late… We ordered Sashimi for 2 and a plate for the kids to share along with some Edamame. The Sashimi, while it wasn’t the best quality we’ve ever had, it was definitely VERYGOOD for BRANSONMO. I would go there again in a heartbeat. The sashimi served was quality tuna, salmon, whitefish etc. The pieces were great sized and tasty. Thank you NOTE: This may be the only place in Branson that does NOT have any specials in that coupon book given out. No discount-the waitress was up front and apologized though.

The quality of the food at Wasabi is the best I’ve tasted in the Midwest. The rolls here are delicious. I recommend the Fire Viking, Shrimp Mania and Pimp My Roll. If you’re looking for something a little more raw, try the Raw Roll. You will not be disappointed with those rolls or with the service and atmosphere.

We’ve visited Branson again recently and tried Wasabi as I was craving for Sushi. Knowing that Branson is a small town so, I was not expecting top notch sushi. We were there for dinner. During my previous trips to Branson, I’ve had sushi at the small place near the Titanic and thought it was good but not too memorable. This time we rolled the dice and thought Wasabi is the place to try because it is on the strip and looks like a respectable place. We sat at the sushi bar. I guess the chef/owner is behind the bar. The atmosphere was great. They’ve put a lot of thoughts in decorating and made it very soothing. Service is not the quickest but the waitress came by several times to check on us. Sushi chef was very friendly and the servings were generous. Quality as good as the ones you get in the bigger cities. We were satisfied with their sushi. Typical tuna, salmon, yellowtail, etc… In conclusion, this is a great place to eat if you want to have good Japanese food in Branson. Quality of their fish is above average and the cut is on the larger side. Great drink choices, better service than expected and reasonably priced. I will go there again.

My wife and I went for on Saturday 11/21, we got the Bento Boxes. I got the Beef Teriyaki, with the salmon sushi, and my wife got the chicken terikai with the spicy tuna sushi. The one complaint that we had was that the Teriyakis both had way too many onions in them. There was more onions in the Teriyaki, than there was meat. The salmon sushi had a stronger fishy smell than I am normally used to. Other than that, the presentation was wonderful, the service was great, the portions were sufficient. I got a sweet tea, and I believe that I detected a pleasant plum flavor in it, and it was slightly overly sweet.
