HORRIBLEFOOD. Even found a bay leaf in the middle of my taco, which by the way, had no tomatoes, no lettuce, no cheese, just horrible tasting ground meat of some sort. The bay leaf was the only«vegetable» or added item to the taco. The enchilada also had NOTHING on or in it except a different flavored horrible ground meat. The Chili Rellino… looked semi ok, but was mushy, almost as though it had been cooked and then soaked in liquid before being served. It was the most attractive looking thing on my plate, but one taste was way too much. The prices were very high for lunch and the server seemed to have a bad attitude… certainly not personable at all. Now, I am having to leave work early due to being sick in my stomach. Was it the FOOD? All I can say is NEVERAGAIN! My husband’s tamales were disgusting. He is Hispanic and told me that he knows the difference in good tamales and bad ones and that this plate of food didn’t even taste like tamales at all… good or bad… no flavor no taste. He thinks the frozen Mexican food dinners from the grocery are better.

We were in Branson Around the 11th of November and decided to try this place, well was or a disappointment I got the tamales and I have eaten them all over the place and these were horrible the corn batter was mushed and about a half inch thick all the way around terrible. The fried rice had a lot to be desired and the refried beans were runny… save your money and eat elsewhere !!!

Full Menu with great friendly Service. Had the Special Dinner. Brought out 2 plates full of all the favorites for 12 bucks. Tamale, enchilada, Chile Relentos, Chalupa, Crispy Taco. Beans and Rice. All great food. Will go back for sure.

The service was very poor. Our server acted like he was disgusted to have to wait on us. Our appetizer showed up after our entrees. We didn’t get drink refills until they brought the check. The food was very bland. I would not recommend this place.

This is the second time I have visited Tequila’s. They have an extensive menu and is children friendly. My wife had a combination plate, I had fajitas and our kids had the chicken fingers kids meal and the taco kids meal. They also provided free tortilla chips and salsa. For my family the salsa was perfect, not spicy at all. I asked if they had spicier salsa and they brought out their hotter version which was tasty and hotter but still very manageable. For you hot heads, they do not have anything that you would consider a challenge. I also ordered their white cheese dip which was very runny but was still very good. If you wait a little while it does get thicker as it cools down. I was surprised by the volume of food that was served. My Fajita plate was full of chicken and chorizo sausage. I was very happy with my meal. I was a little surprised it did not come out sizzling like some places I have visited but the flavors were really good. Overall, we walked out both full and content. Overall it was A-OK. No complaints at all. Our server was friendly and attentive. Overall it was a good visit.

The only reason I ever go to Tequilas 2 is to be with friends. There aren’t many options for Mexican food in Branson to begin with, but I would personally choose other places. The service is INCREDIBLY slow even when there aren’t many other tables occupied. Getting refills on chips and salsa, which are complimentary, takes FOREVER. The food is mediocre but you are in Missouri so expecting authentic Mexican food isn’t really fair. Also there are incredibly long lines to sit down Friday and Saturday night. I have no idea why though.

The food had no flavor. The lunch portions were very small. We both left hungry, feeling unsatisfied. The service was poor. We asked for water and one of the other servers said Oh your server will come by and get it for you and didn’t give us any water at all. I ordered tostada and enchilada lunch it came with a thin layer that had been painted on the plate of beans and no rice and the enchiladas were taco or smaller and it was only one of them. I do not recommend this for families or couples or groups. I do not recommend this tequila 2-.

Good basic Mexican food in Branson, MO. The service was great, the food was average(well, actually, the cheese enchilada in my Lunch No. 4 was absolutely amazing), and the location is in a shopping area so it’s conveniently located if you’re looking for someplace to sit down and get some food. Not worth going out of your way for, but also not something to avoid entirely.

I was very satisfied with the food I had only one sample. Spence I can no longer eat really spicy or hot foods I am stuck with ordering other dishes. It could have easily handled a little more spicy ness… But then I would not have been able to enjoy more the the going down, the after it arrived would have been most unpleasant for me. I wish it was different. The service was excellent and the waiter was personable. If and when I return, I will be back. If not for anything else the retried beans. They had good flavor, and texture, not soupy or bland. Often water is added to keep it from being dry, cheeper then adding the right amount of fat. The key word is the right amount. I have been making retried beans for years… I have made all the mistakes. I do not care if they make their own beans from scratch or buy it already made… Just keep on doing what you are doing. But I can not help but to think they make it themselves. It has personality.

Not that good. Burrito especial had very little meat and cheese was runny. Salsa lacked texture(too runny). The margarita was not very good. Went with a party of 12 and no one was happy with their food. Avoid this place!

Where do I begin. The atmosphere is that of a big box discount store. The margaritas taste like dish water. The enchilada sauce, cheese sauce and guacamole were out of a can. The tamale was inedible. And the service was rude, like our waiter’s first approach was to ask us what we would like to drink and follows that with«I’m in a hurry!» Was an overall terrible experience!

Been here a couple of times, the only reason I would go back is because they have really good Margarita’s. Was very diappointed in the service, took forever to get someone at our table. When we did we tried putting in our order and the waiter seemed to be confused by everything we ordered, which we were right to think he was confused because half of our order was wrong, and we had to order drinks like twice before we got them. They did do a good job of taking care of the mistake though. They have another location in Branson West that I prefer!

We were here last December and it was good. Nothing fancy but you get more than enough food to leave full and happy. No complaints at all

We ate there June 18 for a late lunch and it was Outstanding! The chips and salsa was by far the best we’ve ever tried and the queso cheese had a little bite to it! Services was great, very clean .Next time in Branson will return!

The chips and salsa were good. The margarita(only one on the menu) was decent. I ordered the chicken chimichanga and it was really good but everything else on the plate was worthless. My lunch companion ordered tacos and they were practically flavorless. The service was sub par and the server made it clear our patronage was an imposition. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Wish I could give a lower rating. Took too long to get seated even though the place was only about 50% capacity used. Ordered a chicken taco & chili rellano. What I got was a ground beef taco, a well under cooked chili rellano, & a chapula(at least that’s what I was told it was) with no rice. I would strongly recommend Taco Bell if you want authentic Mexican food compared to this place. No kidding!

I stopped here for lunch one day during my visit to Branson last month. I sat in the bar area and the chips and salsa came out immediately. I ordered the Enchiladas Verdes but honestly could have made a meal out of the chips and salsa. The Enchiladas were excellent so I ate every bite even though I was already nearly full from the chips and salsa. I don’t believe I even bothered having dinner that night…

Thought I would try out Tequilas 2 — was visiting Branson from out of town and looking for a decent Mexican restaurant. Experience started poorly and only got worse. While I could visibly see 6 clean and unoccupied booths, we waited for 25 minutes to be seated(at one of the booths I mentioned before). And here we go. This was the absolute worst service I or any other member of my polite party of 4(former servers) had ever experienced. Throughout the course of over an hour, our server stopped at our booth 3 times. One of his stops involved conveniently mixing up 3 drinks were given to him. One cup was even a different color than the other 2, and he still have that cup to the wrong person. Throughout the entire meal our server was slow, careless, inattentive, arrogant, and apathetic. He truly appeared to not care at all about our party. The food took 35 minutes to arrive and came out cold. Not just room temperature — cold. My order also included rice and beans, which were not brought out with my entrée. No problem. About 5 minutes after the food was dropped off, I was able to flag down another server and asked him to bring them by. 15 minutes passed and my party had finished their meals, and still no rice and beans. We finally tracked down our server and got our checks. I ensured I was not charged for the lack of rice and beans. All in all this was simply the worst experience I have had with service at any restaurant. I wouldn’t even consider recommending this restaurant to Satan himself.

The Chili Rellenos are awesome! Our server was great, the margaritas were strong, and the food came out quick and hot. The food is authentic and homestyle mexican food. If you are looking for gourmet presentation and high end atmosphere… this isn’t your place. But if you are looking for tasty and a great value… it is excellent.
