This hotel was excellent. The staff was so amazing, helpful and friendly toward our crazy family of boys. They were patient and offered so much help. I did not catch her name but there was one staff member in particular(who said she also has 3 boys) who went the extra mile to make sure my kids were happy. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The pool was just what we needed. Most importantly, the cobbler and ice cream were on point! We plan on staying again!

So, I was skeptical when my in-laws wanted to stay here. I’m use to chain hotels. BUT, I have to say, I was truly impressed with The Savanna House! Yes the rooms are a little dated, but are very clean. mini refrigerators in the rooms, which is nice to have. They are card entry rooms. Really nice seating areas outside with Adirondack chairs all around, with a beautiful scenic view out front. The staff were very nice, and helpful in anything you needed. They all seemed to really take pride in keeping the hotel running smoothly, especially when seeing numerous buses coming in. Good pricing, nice breakfast, free coffee, tea, hot chocolate, cappuccino, and even dessert late in the evening, just waiting for you after the shows! I would stay here again, and recommend it to other people visiting Branson.

Pros: Free breakfast Beautiful outdoors/on a hill Cons: Dated room décor(dreary atmosphere, floral comforters, «old» smell) Really, the price is worth staying here. Did not like the outdated feel of the room, would’ve liked a modern room or even a hotel that intentionally tried to be tastefully vintage. But I do recommend this hotel.

We booked this hotel to stay in for one night after spending the day at Silver Dollar City. We had four people in one room: two adults, a nine year old, and a two year old. Although they aren’t right on the main drag, this hotel was really easy to find, and since I’m from Texas and used to driving, I didn’t mind at all. I suppose if you somehow found yourself in Branson without a car you might not want to book this hotel. The hotel is REALLY pretty. It’s built into a hill, so there is a gorgeous rising garden in the front that leads to the lobby. There is a second building behind the main building, which is where we stayed. It starts on floor two, because of that hill. Check in was really easy, and unlike the other reveiwer, we DID receive key cards. The room was nice and clean. It’s a little outdated, and there aren’t a million outlets and places to charge things, but we made do with our arsenal of electronics. Everything found a charging spot. There IS free wifi, but they don’t advertise it, so I just called the lobby and asked and they gave me the password. We had a mini fridge in our room that was cold, which is nice. There was a hospitality room in each building where they serve breakfast and dessert, and they had a large container of ice water and one of tea, which was great since my son wanted some water and dad was hogging the bathroom. We were amused by the open bible on the table, but this IS Branson, home of good, clean fun! My only complaint is that there was no night light in the bathroom, so I had to fumble around in the dark in the middle of the night when I had to pee. Hopefully management will read this and fix that! The room was spacious for us, but we were only there for one night and left very early the next day, and we were really tired, so we didn’t do much in the room, just sat around. There are a lot of little outside sitting nooks and lots of people were outside enjoying the unseasonably cool summer weather. My husband and son went to the pool, which they seemed to enjoy. It is an outside pool. Between 9 – 11, they serve dessert in the hospitality room, and there is one for each building, so we didn’t have to walk all the way to the front of the other building, which was also nice. They had raspberry and peach cobbler(two cobblers, not a combo) and we arrived at 9:15 and the raspberry was almost gone! I don’t know if they refill things until 11 as we didn’t stay long. I tried some of the raspberry cobbler, and I understand why it was almost gone! There was also vanilla soft serve, as well as waffle cones and hot fudge, and freshly baked cookies that were still warm and gooey from the oven. What a sweet touch! Branson, as you may know, attracts older folks, and it was funny to me that right when something started there were people right there. «Dessert at nine? Bring it! I’m here at 8:59!» «Breakfast at 6? Heck, yeah!» These are people after my own heart, since I’m not good at being late to things! We had breakfast the next morning, and there were two types of waffles you could make, blueberry and vanilla malt. My son had a blueberry waffle, which didn’t taste very blueberry-ey to me, but whatever. There was also a large selection of donuts, which I prefer to the yucky pastries you normally see. Those may have been there, as well. There were bagels and toast, too. They also had scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fried potatoes, and really good biscuits. In addition, there was oatmeal(I think… or maybe grits. It was in a crockpot), cereal, yogurt, and fruit. There were two types of juice, water, coffee, and hot chocolate. It was a really good free breakfast. I figured it would have cost us $ 20 at Denny’s, so there you go. Check out was similarly easy, and took about 30 seconds. Would I go back? Definitely. Was it worth the price? Absolutely.

To be honest with you I didn’t know what to expect when booking the Savannah House Hotel, reviews were scarce, however the price was right and I only needed a place to rest for the evening after a busy day. When I arrived I discovered that the hotel is slightly off the beaten path, while still being close to the main strip. The first thing I noticed was out front on a hill there is a small Gazebo with a waterfall and some seating, all overlooking the hillside. This would be a great place to relax with a glass or two of wine in the evening. Check in was simple, and the staff was friendly, however I was shocked when received a physical key for my room, yes no key card here. The rooms were simple, clean, yes some slight updating could have been done to really make this place stand out, otherwise I was perfectly happy with the basic room. Amenities here were surprisingly good, there was a free hot breakfast included that had your standard items and was actually pretty good. A big surprise was the 9−11pm cookies, cobbler, and ice cream available in the lobby, this was a nice touch. Wi-Fi was not available in the rooms, however I never checked to see if it was available in the lobby. If you are looking for a more relaxing quiet hotel while staying in Branson that is off the main strip I would recommend checking out Savannah House.
