We came to this hotel for a local softball tournament. The fields were about 15 minutes away. Since you have to cross the main strip to get there traffic can definitely be an issue. However the hotel was accommodating for the team allowing all the players to have rooms on the same floor. As for the hotel I did not have too many complaints. The beds were comfortable, the air conditioner worked good, no drips from the bathroom, no outside noises and the staff seemed sincere. The indoor pool is open until midnight which was a bonus. I agree with the Unilocal average of 2.5 stars. I gave it a 3 because the half was not an option and this definitely did not deserve only a 2. The hotel did not seem as though it was designed to be a Holiday Inn Express. The rooms are smaller than normal and don’t seem to have the upper scale furnishings. The breakfast was average for this chain. The water in the shower got warm but never hot. If back in the area and the team chose to stay here again then I would without hesitation. If back on my own in the area then I would compare reviews and prices with some of the others before returning. It wasn’t that it was a bad room but for the price and name I expected a little more.

Pesticide smell on the third floor, in one room?! Mixed reviews and mixed experiences; the night staff is rude, and unaccommodating. We arrived here fairly late in the evening(around 8), and were«greeted» by a rude front desk staff member. She was decent to us until she noticed the last name was spelled wrong, and our experience went down hill from there. She then questioned our reservation and our honors membership and couldn’t get us out of the fast enough. Once we got to our adjoining rooms we noticed a distinctive pesticide smell in one of the rooms, so much so it made me get a headache and dizzy. The front desk staff told us we had no options, to accommodate our entire party of 5. After coming to the conclusion there shouldn’t be one room with a pesticide scent on the THIRD floor, half our party moved rooms, which the staff made a GIANT ordeal of. The next day, after talking the the day staff we were made feel more welcome. The lady was kind, apologetic, and tried to do everything to make us happy. The rooms are clean, but are old, and thus feel dirty. The breakfast was fine, nothing terribly special, but nice that it’s included! The pool is indoor, and very large and clean. The hot tub was fine, but I noticed the bubbles looked dirty. The sauna was nice, and right inside the pool area. The gym was very nice, for a hotel gym, I was very impressed by this! I wouldn’t stay here again, or probably recommend it to a friend.

Finally a newer and clean inn at a decent price in Branson. We travel to Branson several times a year for a quick getaway and to enjoy Silver Dollar City, shopping, and family. We had yet to find a newer, clean and quiet motel/hotel at a decent price for one or two night stays(on longer stays we typically book at one of the many timeshare condos available in Branson). I’m happy to say that this Holiday Inn has what we’ve been looking for all of these years! In addition to the clean and quiet rooms the inn offers a free hot breakfast that was very good. If you have ever traveled to Branson before, you have probably experienced some very bad«free» hot breakfasts other hotel/motels offer. What a nice surprise to have one that was so fresh and offered such a good variety of food.

Not bad. A little dirty/worn, shower was clogged, bed skirt was stained, and my ceiling has a gigantic crack. But the pool is nice and so was the free breakfast. Staff is friendly and hotel was fairly quiet.

I would give no stars if that was an option. Checked in this evening. We found fleas in our room, food and a condom wrapper on the carpet so it isn’t well cleaned. When we asked to be moved they downgraded us to a lesser room and never apologized. Holiday Inn Express should be ashamed of having this crap with their name on it.

This holiday inn provided the basics needed for a comfortable overnight stay. Clean restroom and sleeping area, in addition to the desk space. The cable channels were also to my liking, which is not always the case in some hotels. It was rather difficult to find a parking space here. That is understandable since I was staying near the holidays. Would not have been much of an issue, but I could not find an alternate door to enter the hotel from the outside with a key, so parking and then having to walk to front door in the cold was not fun. I was surprised there was no items available for purchase outside of the gift store. I arrived after hours and wanted some milk and could not get any. I was told there was a Wal Mart up the street, but did not want to go back out again. So, I tried the vending machines, and unfortunately, the drinks were all sold out – are you freaking kidding me!!! Definitely disappointed with the lack of food details, but reminded myself that Holiday Inn, after all, is not the Hyatt. The breakfast bar offered an assortment of breads and pastries, in addition to eggs, meats, and other items. I just opted for eggs, but I’m sure everyone could find something decent for breakfast.
