We have been traveling to Branson for a while and had been wanting to try this place. Very disappointed. Food was cold and over priced for what it was. Paid $ 5.99 for kids macaroni that was actually kraft macaroni and cheese with added cheddar. Service was great. No issue with the server at all, very on top of our table.

Delicious cocktails. My wife had the mango margarita and I had the tamarind margarita. She liked mine more and after finishing hers ordered one as well. The entrees, while expensive, are good. Best thing(also expensive) is the fresh table side prepares guacamole. If you sign up for their emails(at least 12 hours in advance) you can get it for free… otherwise it is about $ 10 or $ 11.

Cantina Laredo is one of those restaurants I feel provides a satisfactory dining experience, but not the sort which would make it my first choice for dining. I’ve been here a few times because it’s a decent place for groups of people, but I’ve never been wowed by the food or service. The stuffed poblano I ordered on my last visit had shrimp that was slightly overcooked while the chile itself was a little undercooked. I do like the two types if salsas they bring to your table and the view is nice with optional seating outside.

Good menu, great location and atmosphere… I personally feel like they have been slacking in the kitchen lately and the food is not as good as the price you’re paying for it anymore. They need to step up their game again!

My first visit to Cantina Laredo and we found that the food was actually rather good. I am not sure how one would classify this restaurant. It’s not true Mexican food nor is it Tex Mex either. There weren’t any burritos listed on their dinner menu which was a surprise to both my husband and I. The highlight of our meal was the chips, which were warm and somewhat habit forming. Our server(Carlos) was rather attentive for most of our meal, but we had to get up to find him in order to pay our bill. Hence the 4 star rating. We will be back.

I should never expect to get authentic mexican in Branson(although I think this is a chain). Something about Mexican food and white table cloths seem just not right. And Catina Laredo just wasn’t right. I mean, the food wasn’t bad, I just wasn’t impressed. As a table we all got mixes of tacos, enchiladas and some pork dishes. Honestly the best part was the table-made guacamole. Service, at least when we went, was very sub-par. It took forever to get drinks and we had to ask several times to get basic things(water refills, side of sour cream, etc). The server also NEVER bussed our table of plates, glasses, empty bottles, etc unless we physically forced him to by just handing things to him. Now, I can tell you that, as a family, we are very forgiving. More than half of us have worked/still work in the restaurant business so were not«those customers». I know that this place is in a «touristy» area so I suspect that they don’t really care to have quality staff since most people won’t ever come back just because they don’t live here. For $ 15 – 20 per plate I expected better. About the only positive thing I can say was at least the beer was cold.

Wow! Definite YUM. We came to Cantina Laredo because it was one of few restaurants open late in Branson. And, after a long day of fun it was good to sit down for a meal. But, we left full, satisfied, and happy to have found a new favorite place. Cantina Laredo is a fresh, innovative approach to Mexican cuisine. Their ability to bring taste, texture, flavor, and beauty together is impressive. We especially enjoyed their Enchilada de Avacado(amazing vegetarian creation!), Enchilada Veracruz, and the Tacos de Barbacoa(Oh. My. Word. !!) The two different types of rice we had, the black beans, and the sautéed zucchini were flavorful and excellent in their own right. And, of course, any Mexican restaurant is judged by the quality of their chips and salsa — Cantina Laredo has earned high praise for theirs! Every thing was delicious. Now, the only thing lacking? …they need to open one in KANSASCITY!

The food was good but not for the prices they charge. I am usually skeptical to eat Mexican food this far north. This is a prime example. Everyone locally raved about this place, however it is just average for the Mexican food I am used to eating. I am sure it is the best in the area, but just doesn’t meet the standards of Mexican food further south in the U.S. The cocktails were prepared perfectly. I would argue that they have one of the best bartenders around. Our drinks were phenomenal! The scenery is beautiful because you overlook the lake and have great seats for the water show.

So, I’ve been here several times now. My review is based on my most recent visit. This time we had a great server and amazing food! I started with the Deliciouso Margarita, it was very good(it has watermelon purée in it). My husband had the house Margarita with Don Julio added. It was Very Good!!! As for appetizers we love the guacamole made right at your table, it is very good and fresh! Our waiter even let our boys add the ingredients tonight(onions, jalapeño, cilantro and garlic pwdr mixed w s&p). For my son he loves their chicken chimichanga(which is off the lunch menu, but can be ordered at dinner if you ask). They were very nice and split the chimichanga between the boys for us with no hassle. I had the amazing Sea Bass dish. It comes with chipotle crème sauce, rice and grilled asparagus. OMG, this is something worth driving 3.5 hours for! The service has always been wonderful, even when they have a packed house! I absolutely love this restaurant with their view of the lake and the water/fountain show and shooting flames!

The ONLY reason I am not giving this establishment 5 stars was simply an incident with our waitress. As it could easily have been a misunderstanding, I will not go into detail– however it was enough to make me pause as to the five star rating. The salsas were both amazing as well as our dinners. I would recommend to any Branson traveler who does NOT like status quo:)

The bar is fun and they serve chips and two kinds of salsa, which was fresh and appeared to be homemade. There was 10 of us and we sat in the private room which was fun ! The food was good, fresh and filling. This location is on the river and if you can sit on the outside deck and watch the fire and water show ! The night we went it had been raining so there was an creepy fog and the kids thought it looked cool with the fire and water show. The location is fun to walk and shop and eat and play. Good family or date fun,

4th of July weekend is not the weekend to come here. This place is super busy and you more than likely will not get a seat. We were originally 2 hours and 45 minutes for a wait at 7:00 pm. We waited about 45 minutes before we were seated. Many of the seating problems were created by the poor management of the hostesses station. Other problems were created by the restaurant taking reservations on what is one of the busiest days of the year. There were at least 10 empty tables at a time that were for reservations. We were informed by a staff member that each reserved table was not sat for at least an hour before the table was expected to be seated. I understand wanting to honor reservations on a holiday weekend, but having empty tables and being told the wait is 2:45 does not look or feel right. Many people left and were extremely upset with seeing the empty tables and hearing the wait time. As a group we got drinks before being seated and they were excellent. We all a party of 6 hand the house margaritas which tasted excellent. Mine just needed little bit more salt around the rim. Once we were sat our waiter was awesome. We came here for the drinks and guacamole and other appetizers. I highly recommend the guacamole and ceviche. I will be back on a none holiday to try more of the food. The two star rating is based on the poor management of the seating and seeing empty tables when the wait was so long. The food, drinks, and waiter deserve a four stars.

It’s July 3rd and the restaurant was only half full when we got here 30 minutes ago. We told the hostess that we needed any seating for 5 and she looks at me and says it’ll be at least a 2 hour and 45 minute wait. I said that’s fine because I wanted to talk it over with my group. We looked around and couldn’t understand how it is possible that 15+ wide open tables(fully cleaned and set already) are sitting available and no one is being sat at them. I have watched the same 15+ open tables for the last half hour and no one has been sat at a single one! How is this possible? The only thing that’s happened during this wasted half hour was more and more people have left which means there is currently at least 20 open, fully set… yet, entirely empty tables. I am so upset! If these tables are supposedly for reservations… then where are those people? If they are late… they lose their table! A more important question is why would you even accept reservations on such an extremely busy night? I hear that this place is a chain and unfortunately I had a terrible experience and will NEVERBEBACK!

We dined here on a Friday evening at prime dinner time. We’re able to walk right in and get an indoor table(despite the crowd). Appreciated the chips and delicious salsa — mild & medium. Decided to try the margarita(horrible had to be sent back) and golden sangria(amazing)! The table side guac was perfection and worth the price tag. Our entrees came out quickly and were delicious — tacos de fajita, kids mini tacos and 3 types of enchiladas. The food was awesome! The only down side was the waiter — he was extremely unfriendly and had an unpleasant«I don’t want to be here» attitude. Bummer. Nothing like someone glaring at you while they make your table side guac… Would have given 5 stars if the service had been better. We will be back.

My dad and I came here for lunch around 1pm on a Saturday and it was busy outside because the weather was good. We sat outside and had a view of the river and a somewhat okay view of the water/fire show that was probably every hour. Our hostess and waitress were nice and friendly. The outside area were all covered, but it was still hot in some areas because of the patio cover absorbed the sun’s heat which was very warm/hot beneath it. I decided to order something different and went with an all-vegetarian dish. It was the Enchiladas de Espinaca($ 11.99) and I was debating whether to order that or something with chicken in it. I believe my dad ordered the Relleno de Camarones($ 16.49). The complementary chips and salsa were good. The hot salsa was a little spicy and some wouldn’t like it, but I thought it was better than the normal salsa. I must have had spicy salsa still left on my tongue as I couldn’t taste the normal salsa unless that was how it was supposed to be. The food came out quickly and the presentation of the dish looked good to me. I liked the mushroom in it as well as the spinach. The sour cream poblano sauce added to the flavor and I thought it complemented everything else. I tried some of my dad’s Relleno de Camarones and it was tasty. The portion was right for one person and I wasn’t really full after finishing everything. I ate some more chips and salsa to fill me up some. This place had good Mexican food and would check it out if you’re wanting some Mexican food in Branson.

Meh. I don’t get the hype. I’ve tried several times. $ 10 tableside guac uses one avocado. Really? Small servings of most items, especially at those prices. Great location and attentive service, i guess this is enough to keep a tourist town restaurant in business. :\

A modern twist on Tex-Mex. This place really raises the bar on what one thinks Mexican food can be. The food is thought out well and truly inspired. Located in Branson Landing this is a must eat destination if you are in the area. The best dish by far is the Camaron Pablano Asada, a very tender steak with shrimp, onion, Monterey Jack, and chimichurri sauce. Secondly I was impressed with the Ahi Tuna tacos. Forget the fish tacos you have had in the past, this dish will blow them away and a great option of you are looking for a lighter meal. Finally for dessert try the Mango Tres Leches. My only disappointment was the house margaritas, pretty bland and far less than I would have expected when the rest of the food was of such high caliber.

Took a mini family vacation with friends to Branson MO. The chips and salsa where good they brought out three different kinds of salsa. For my meal I had the Tacos De Costillas slow-roasted short rib with tomatillo sauce, monterey jack cheese, roasted red peppers and queso fresco they where great. For dessert we got the Mexican Brownie with pecans and walnuts on a sizzling skillet with mexican brandy butter and vanilla or cinnamon ice cream it was awesome. It’s a little to fancy for me but it was a good meal.

Food is most definitely delicious. Absolutely no complaints there. Bartender seemed to need more training, she was super sweet but not very knowledgeable about the menu or the bar. I did not see a manager at any point in time, or anyone who seemed to be in any type of supervisory position. The food quality is what has saved this restaurant. My friend and I had ahi tuna tacos, queso laredo, and flatbread de bestik also a pomagranate froaen margrita and a Cantina Mojito. Unfortunately the Mojito was horrible, as a former bartender it was easy to spot the 2 day old browning lime wedges and mint leaves. I only had about 3 sips of the Mojito, and pushed it away. Overall I would give it a 2nd chance only because the food was excellent.
