Baldknobbers is a great family show. They are kid friendly and possibly Branson’s nicest family. I just wish they would update some of the things in the theater like better AV and some of the slides used in performances. The hidden secret in this cast are the three ladies in the show. Great powerful voices that can bring down the house. Just need to get a strong male lead. Prices aren’t too bad.

Absolutely Brilliant. We all really enjoyed including my 22 and 11 year old sons. You will not be disappointed. We all really enjoyed the show. My sons both said this is definitely a redo for next year!

This is worth the trip to Branson! A must see show for the whole family. Tribute to our military. Funny and clean jokes for the family and the music is amazing.

Great show!!! Fun, funny, and filled with powerful voices! Great variety show that includes the audience and well done trade off in comedy and songs. I own no country music but will be back again. Mabe family and band offer great value in entertainment for all ages. Good people… good show. Give it a try.

I went to this show, it was ok. And there was a chance I would go back until I saw this tv show they have. This old lady who owns the show is a witch! Sitting at home making decisions like hitler. Should have done yourself a favor and stayed off tv. And the little girl need to forget the boob job and get that gap in her teeth fixed.

This photo is outdated. The advertising says its a family show but for the entire cast, there were very few family members. For those that were related, they all acted like strangers anyway. This was far from a cohesive group. The brunette, who needs to annunciate, got mad at a male cast member at one point. She shot him a look, pointed her finger, and made a face. It was an absolute disgrace. She comes off sweet, innocent, but the attitude was poison. The host was good, engaging. Comedy was great. but no one there was a team and some great talent was highly shadowed. There is a huge cast with tons of musicians — Mike Ito(?) played several instruments but this was never shown off. There was nothing connecting this group together, nothing to connect me to them. It looked like a bunch of independent segments, singing random country songs, no direction with a comedy act to hold it together. Other than comedy, the only good parts were how the cast sat to meet the guests, and the children who came on stage at the end. I think I even dosed off during one of the songs. It was just all so dis-connected. Advice — Fire the brunette, become a team, let everyone have a bit of spotlight, be more personal, show more of the family, cut down on the musicians who are unrelated, and have direction! You say your a family, lets see it! Heck, you can even fire the blonde too.

We’ve been attending the Baldknobbers show for many years and it is timeless, classy, professional, and always a hoot! We love the variety of the show, the clean family atmosphere, and the emphasis on the Christian faith of the owners/performers. In the competitive show world of Branson, this is a must-see show. During this visit, we also went to the afternoon show Sons of the Pioneers. I have long been a fan of their cowboy music and close harmony. They did not disappoint.

Excellent choice for family entertainment. Great mix of generational anecdotes and laughs. Highly recommend it for everyone especially for Branson, MO first time visitors. You can’t miss the show that started it all. Get some popcorn and refreshments to boost the entertainment experience.

I took my 4 year old son to see the show this week and he really enjoyed it. There is a good mix of music and comedy for all ages. The theatre is family owned and operated and the staff are very informal and everyone is polite. I’ve been going since I was little and always enjoy the show!

Look, a relative of mine is the emcee here. No way I’d joke about something like this. He’s not a close relative– in fact, I’ve never said two words to him– but I know he’s related to the side of my family that finds overalls to be socially acceptable wedding attire. Seriously. Why would I make this up? Anyway, the Baldknobbers show has been around longer than anyone reading this. It’s Branson’s first stage-production(unless you believe the lies that the Presley’s down the road are selling). Basically, it’s part play, part musical and part Hee-Haw come to life. There’s a lot of patriotism, a lot of God, and an audience filled with silver haired people whose dentures get hard with all of the wholesomeness. And that’s not bad. It’s just not for me. Nor most people under 70 who hail from a town where the population outweighs the average age. But it’s good at what it does. It’s slick. It’s corny. It’s friendly and engaging and like it or not, it does hearken back to a corner of my youth. You know, the one where I wanted a confederate flag on my t-shirt because I thought it looked cool and was only dissuaded by my father’s stern ‘no.‘ The last time I came here, it was on vacation with my fiancée… Part of a Branson-travel package deal. You get to pick a show, and a few days at Silver Dollar City. For some inexplicable reason, I demanded that we see the ‘Knobbers. We made it until intermission before we decided we could take no more. In the car, on our way back to the cabin, we wondered if the performers realized that the two youngsters in the front row were missing when they came back from break. Sadly, they’re probably pretty used to it. You know, supposing that two 20 somethings have gone willingly to one of their shows before.
