I can’t say much that hasn’t already been said about the best burger on the east coast. But this particular location always has its music (90s grunge) blaring and you can barely hear the cashier. I thought it might just have been a certain crew but it’s been consistent over my past few trips. The volume just doesn’t seem necessary. I always get my order to go so I can get out of there as soon as I can.

Should say it’s $$. It’s not a cheap burger, but it’s a good one. Also, the fries taste SO good, as they’re fried in PEANUT oil, not canola or vegetable oil.
Whenever you go, there will be a line. Don’t worry, as it moves fast. The worst is going between 5−7pm on a Friday, then the line might be 25 – 30 people long, and take a whole 12 – 15 minutes.

While this is by no means a «cheap lunch», or a healthy one for that matter, the best thing about Five Guys, is that it’s good simple food that tastes great. I like the free peanuts that you can munch on while your food is being prepared. Fresh, never frozen beef, and real fresh cut fries. Don’t bother ordering the large fries, as they dump extras in the bag. As a result the bags here are always grease-stained.A Cardiologist’s nightmare, for sure, but it’s fabulous food! Outdoors, they have tables, and my wiener dog often dines here with us as well. She loves the burgers too. Bring that wallet, though. Usually drop about 20 bucks on lunch .But as they say, it’s worth every penny

I’m not usually a fan of Five Guys but my fiancé loves it, so I gave in and we stopped by for lunch. He got his usual burger that he always gets, which he said was as good as always. I don’t typically like their burgers so I ordered the veggie sandwich. It had sauteed mushrooms, onions and peppers, in addition to lettuce and tomato. I have to say — it was really good. They give you a lot of mushrooms, which is always nice if you’re a mushroom lover like me. We sat on the patio and the only reason I’m not giving 5 stars is because the music out on the patio was ridiculously loud, to a point it was hard to hear each other talk. They need to take it down a notch. That’s all.

and so the downward slide begins notice the parking lot only had 3 cars in it at lunchtime you use to have to park quite far back but not today ordered and got my hamburger one Pattie now on the bun instead of the two you got with a regular hamburger order didn’t take long however the price is the same led. fries looks like they are going to give nearby burger king a boost I see their parking lot is full and their drive thru horrible as they are. last visit to this five guys… too bad

I usually love this place. But will now never go back. I ordered take out and the burgers were awful, and the fries were saturated with oil! I tried to call them at the branford location to let them know (I was to far to drive back with everthing) and they left me on hold for over 5 minutes each time I called. SO I called the 800# that they give for comments and concerns. Well the woman I spoke with could not care less but promised I would receive a call back, and that never happened and that was three weeks ago.
I would have settled for was another meal of the same order, at no charge, and NOT take out. but now I will never go back which really stinks because they are usually right on. REALLY stinks.

I went here for lunch. I got their burger sans cheese, loaded up with mushrooms, onions, lettuce, tomato, and ketchup. That burger sure is good, and the peanuts are a nice bonus. But I wish they would hold the noise! Darn, that rock music sure is loud enough to make things uncomfortable. Can the folks who run this joint please turn the volume down?

This my first visit ever. I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Not quite the best burger I’ve ever had. It was good and tasted a lot like johnnie rockets. My burger was correct. My wife’s burger was incorrect with the toppings. Not a big deal.
I was expecting something different/​special with the fries being cooked in peanut oil. I was very disappointed. Fries were soggy, extremely greasy and bland. I has to dump a ton of salt and ketchup in them to make them edible.
Drink/​soda dispenser was really cool and different. But the partially flat soda that came out of it was also disappointing.
So will I come back!!! Maybe for the burger. Definetly not for the fries.

I definitely enjoyed it. It’s been a while since I had eaten at a five guys location. This new location is close to where I live so I wanted to endulge in the calories. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and it was excellent. The bacon for me was perfect in both flavor and crunch. The bag of fries was good, I wish they all were 100% crunchy but good none the less. Lastly the coke freestyle machine enables limitless options for beverages. Staff was friendly and quick. Overall 5 stars from me. Thanks for the lunch, I will be back.

For the most part, it’s been quite good and consistent with Five Guys brand… BUT, I wuld not suggest going on a Monday or Tuesday night… it’s all rookies working and it was a hot mess tongiht (Tuesday) hard buns on my burger, cold fries… this NEVER happens. Like I said, no veterans on the line is a bad idea; alot of unappy customers in there tonight… it wasn’t great like usual.

This Five Guys has been open for few weeks and we decied to give it a shot since, traveling to the orange and amity locations is quite far. I was surpised even on a early Friday afternoon how busy it was. The service was fast and my burger and fries were perfect! I noticed even that its a new place and seems to be alot of younger workers there they are eager to work and smile! I am very happy for this in branford! THANK YOU FIVE GUYS!

You wanted the best, now you’ve got the best … or whatever, it’s just another Five Guys.
They have been open a few weeks and I finally made it in, place was super clean (new construction build out) and the staff was eager to make the food. I felt the food came out pretty slow for me but others got their food super quick, maybe it was what I ordered — I dunno. If you are a cocacola fanatic they have the freestyle machine here, so you can pick your coke and add flavors if you so desire. If you are looking for something nice and refreshing and non-​coke to drink with your burger and fries check out Smoothie King right behind it.
All my food was as good as can be expected from Five Guys, definitely worth stopping in if you are a burger fan (i usually get grilled cheese).
