Sonic Drive In

Typical kind of sonic. Next to a Walmart so convenient if you want to shop after or before. They have a new, well new for me, sonic boom box for $ 5 that has a sonic dog of your choice, Jr. Sonic cheeseburger, fries or tots with a medium drink. We ordered two and to my surprise better than expected. Like I said though it’s nothing special of a sonic than others so if you want to go to one, I would recommend this location.

I go here for a monthly treat. It’s one of the few places that has Coke Zero and they add cherries to it for me. All of the workers are very sweet and fast.

Gross! My husband and I ordered two deluxe bacon cheeseburger combos on our first (and last) visit here. The sandwich tasted like it had been sitting there for a long time. My husband had to microwave his to get it to an edible temperature.
But, the fries were the worst part of the meal, they were beyond nasty! They were stale, cold and some fries were hard (YUCK!). I usually like Sonic restaurants, but after going here, it will be a long time before I go back to another location, if at all!
I’m not even going to try and make an excuse for them by saying I might have caught them at a bad time, the fact that the food was that horrible is inexcusable. I expect better and should have received fresh, hot food. So disappointed!

Customer service is good, they are prompt and friendly. Much better than the Fishhawk location!

Will never eat at this place again! When the fry cooks are talking to their coworkers about the order they just put in, and picking at their nose, and putting their finger in their ear and looking at what comes out, Is a no go for me! So eat up if you want.

You can always bet that there’s a Sonic somewhere to quench your thirst! This one doesn’t disappoint.
All the variety of sodas and teas you could want and they’re ½ price during happy hour. Service was quick and with a smile.

This is one of my most favorite Sonic Drive Ins. People herr are always friendly. Happy hour is a great time to stop by and check out a half price drink. If I’m in the area I make sure I stop by for the great service.

Ultimate Breakfast Burrito, Cherry Limeade, Cheddar Peppers. This is the hangover breakfast of the gods and today was no different. A little slow considering no one was there when I rolled up, but the food was hot and fresh so no complaints from me. Wish it was a little closer to the action on 60, but at least there’s one in Brandon.

We don’t have a sonic where I live so when I get my hair done in Brandon I treat myself to Sonic. I love the burger with the BBQ sauce and onion ring. However today they were out of onion rings… umm, it’s a side and used on your burger. Ok, so I canceled that order and needed a second to pick something else since I never get anything else I needed a second or two. No one was behind me in the drive thru and my husband was placing his order but they were admit on figuring out what I wanted in place of the other burger and ended up messing up my husbands order. We ordered our food at 11:25 and received our slushies ten minutes later, still no one in front of or behind us in the drive thru. At 11:40 we received our order, we wanted to add another slushie for a friend but after being handed the bag of food the window was closed abruptly. Not a fan of this sonic anymore.

I go to this Sonic location semi regularly. The tater tots are great and the chicken wraps are usually good. They have been a little on the downside my last couple tries though and that loses them a star in my book. My husband and I like the sonic blasts which are always good. I like the fact that they top it with whipped cream and crumbles of the mix-​in candy/​cookie you picked. You can eat on the small patio if you like but most people eat in their car as this is a drive-​in diner/​fast food type establishment. When they first opened all the car hops wore their roller skates but they don’t always now so that takes a little of the fun out of it.

I was looking for a boba place, but ended up lost and when I saw a Sonic Drive-​In I couldn’t resist but turn into it. The burger came out super fast and everything was nice and hot. Sonic’s have been somewhat rare for me to find. This one is quite a ways from my house, but if it was closer I would totally be all over this place every week probably. Burgers are just so much more fresh here than McDonalds or Wendys.
