I feel like luxury here! The girls are so nice who work here and the tan is quality. They offer reasonably priced packages, nail services, and cute accessories which polish off the look.

I cannot say enough about the outstanding customer service at Mandalay Mist! My first experience with Mandalay Mist was before a friends wedding. The owner came to the bridal house and sprayed the entire bridal party the night before the wedding. She was there late into the night and not only did she deliver a beautiful tan to each one of us, she was so wonderful to work with. So when I decided I wanted to get airbrushed for my next event, there was no question where I was going. I had to call last minute to see if I could get on the schedule and even though they were completely booked, the woman who answered the phone agreed to stay after closing to airbrush me. I wish I had asked for her name because she was wonderful. My tan looks amazing and I am so grateful for her going above and beyond for me. Both experiences with Mandalay mist have been outstanding. I highly recommend them and wouldn’t go anywhere else!

I bought a Groupon for a pedicure here and used it today. It’s a cozy little place more geared towards tanning services but I had no problem getting an appointment. While it wasn’t the best pedicure I’ve had, it was definitely worth it for the foot massage.

I had the mani-​pedi service by Raymi. She was great. I love my manicure and pedicure. Try the chocolate scrub„ it feels and smells amazing. My finger nails and toes have never felt this good so definitely try it.

I read the positive reviews about tanning at Mandalay so I purchased a Groupon for a mani/​pedi. I also like to patronize new/​small businesses. The mani/​pedi took 1.5 hours but I thought Rayme was just being very conscientious. One fingernail had a chip already by the evening of the mani/​pedi even though I had shellac (which usually lasts up to 3 weeks). I was going out of town for Thanksgiving the next day so I couldn’t go back to the spa and show them the situation. Since I was traveling I obviously wasn’t doing gardening or heavy cleaning to chip my fingernails. Also, in less than a week three of my toenails had either no polish or large portions missing which has never happened to me in years of getting pedicures!
I took pictures and wrote Rachel, one of the owners of the salon, to explain the situation. She wrote me back promptly offering to have the mani/​pedi redone at no charge. This is a very fair offer but this mani/​pedi is SO BAD I really don’t have another 1.5 hours to spend having a redo. It is now 9 days since this shelac mani/​pedi and four toes have no polish and all of my nails are chipped and three have no polish (which I did not pick off even though it is very tempting!).
In summary, perhaps the tanning services are great at this spa but think twice about using the nail services.

I walked in looking like the Pillsbury Dough Boy and came out with a glow that I haven’t had in years. I treated myself to a mani — pedi as well. I’m leaving on a cruise tomorrow and now I will look so much better in my bikini. I will definitely be back!

The mist tanning is amazing. It’s quick, private and did a great job giving me a wonderful glow. The staff did a great job explaining the process and there were also easy to follow directions in the room. Best part… you’re in and out in 10 – 15 mins with an appointment.

AWFUL EXPERIENCE!!! Do not even try this place. First off, I bought a groupon for 3 mist tanning sessions. I came in to use my first session a day before I was leaving on a vacation. I should also preface my review that I’ve used spray tanning many times before this experience and never had issues. I should have known when the young girl working the salon instructed me to use a wash cloth to «blend» the spray when I got out of the bed. I used the booth and got out to find that I had only been sprayed (with what looked like black ink) on my face, chest, hands, back and lower legs. It didn’t look right, but I started my «blending» with the wash cloth. The solution started drying before I could get to it all and left black streaks down my legs. I panicked, put on a robe and asked the young girl if this was normal. Her advice was to use the excess spray off the doors of the booth to fill in the areas that were streaked my on legs. It of course didn’t work. I attempted to wipe the tan off my skin the baby wipes, but with little success. Of course I’m growing increasingly upset, but trying to maintain my composure. The young girl then explained that the bed has had some «issues». Her next suggestion was to call her boss and get approval to use the air brush to attempt blending this mess. I was appreciative that she was trying to help me, but on the other hand a spray tan can’t usually be fixed. After I was airbrushed the young girl stated that there is a part that they have been waiting for for the booth and said someone would be calling me to follow up. Once I got home and removed my clothes to find a complete smeared, streaked mess, I decided I would attempt a shower to get it all off. Thankfully it came off pretty easily, but what a nightmare. It’s not like someone painted my nails the wrong color and could repaint them. The last thing anyone wants is a shitty spray tan and I don’t think it could have been any worse! I have yet to hear from the salon about getting a refund or even a discussion with the owner about my dissatisfaction with their salon and tanning booth. I never write reviews, but felt it was extremely important to pass along my awful experience.

Super cute boutique mixed with the best air brush tan artist around and a super nice spray tan machine, this is the place to get your glowing tan on! I like to get a mist tan just before weddings or other fun occasions so I can look my best! Try it, you won’t be disappointed!

Brandy is fantastic. She is the sweetest person and made me feel super comfortable during my mani/​pedi.

You won’t find anything else like this place in the area! Whenever I’m in town I always stop in, and the new location is great. Great to pick up gifts for the girlfriend/​wife, and it’s easy because the staff makes it easy for you! I’ve also ordered online and the service is just as good there. I highly suggest stopping in and checking it out (or heading to the website) — you won’t be disappointed! I promise you won’t find a better place in Tampa!
