I am now just leaving this location. Only Krispy Kream near me. Online said they are open till 11pm on Saturday same hours posted on the store door. They are closed. Only one person in the store and they ignored us. So far I have seen two other cars pull up and leave. Horible way to run a buisness. I will never return to this lication. You are losing money buy turning away customers and I’m sure they won’t be back.

My husband and I purchased donuts from this location for the first time having recently moved back to Tampa, Fl, from Atlanta, Ga. The place was extremely clean, donuts fresh and delicious and the young man who waited on us was nice and helpful. In fact we are back today and the young women are equally as nice. I’am 75 years old and definitely know good food and service. Hats off to this location. The Swepson’s.

Went here this morning despite some of the recent and poor reviews on Unilocal.I was surprised with a pleasant visit at the drive thru. Purchased a half dozen donuts and they were delicious. Customer service was fine.

Drove an extra 25 minutes out of my way to get some«HOT» donuts. Paid for my order and got a few minutes down the road to find out I received Luke warm donuts. Never have I thrown away anything from Krispy Kreme, but these have made their way in the trash. Will never visit this store again Smh! DONOTSTOPHERE– IF I COULDGIVETHEM A ZEROFOR A RATING, I WOULD!

Employee was rude when attempting to order. Kept cutting me off to finish. Then at windows he didn’t say one word to me. Donuts were soft but almost like they missing sugar in the making. Not up to the company standards. Poor experience won’t be going back there.

Worst experience ever! Still came here, despite previous reviews. Drive thru Cashier and I swapped my debit card for donuts. After holding my debit card for a few seconds, behind the window, he hands my card back. He asks me to hold for a second. While has has me waiting, I put my debit card back in my wallet. Once he returns to the window, he then tells me the price of the donuts, as if I hadn’t already paid. I told him that I already paid and am waiting on my receipt. He then got stern with me and spoke to me as if I was a child and told me that he did not swipe my card. I asked him if he had an attitude and he claimed he didn’t. I told him that I believe he did and tossed the donuts back in the window. No thanks. I love KK, but this was not appropriate employee behavior. Something told me to check my account and sure enough, there was a pending transaction showing in my account. Called the store, spoke to Cristy the manager and told her what had transpired and requested that the transaction be voided.

Always out of original glaze !!! How can a donut shop always have enough donuts ! Don’t they make it fresh !!! Always should have donuts if it’s a donut shop known for the glaze donuts !!! Very disappointed !!!

Good morning Unilocalers. So, today is National donut day! We all deserve a little sweetness in our lives :-). On my way to work I made the courageous stop at Krispy Kreme donuts on Brandon. Let’s just say I was ready to pull my hair out! I am HUGE on customer service. Knowing that today was national donut day you would think that they would have been better staffed and prepared. I stood in line for 20 minutes and when I got up to the register the employee was grumpy and did not even respond to my «good morning » :-(Not only were they not customer friendly but they did not have one of the most popular donuts available. I made it my mission to make the cashier smile before I left so after I paid for my donuts I tipped him and said, have a wonderful day and don’t forget to smile. Not only do you have control of your happiness but you have the opportunity to affect someone else in a negative or positive way. Let’s make it a good day. He smiled and said, «thank you, I needed that«. As a company you should always protect your brand. On a day such as this you want to give your customers a reason and reminder of why you are a household name and we should keep coming back. Although my customer service experience was not the best I had the chance to positively affect one of Krispy Kreme employees and my employees are bouncing off the walls! !

The last 2 times that I’ve been here they’ve been out of chocolate crème filled doughnuts and none being made. I wish someone would open a new location in Brandon. never seen a Krispy Kreme run this bad.

Took 4 employees to figure out how to accept my KK gift card. Had only 6 donut options available(heck the local gas station has more than that). As others noted, on previous visits the fresh donuts have a chalky glaze(had this happen many times). I suspect they may be microwaved as one person noted. Visit before last they turned me away because my gift card was less than the entire total($ 8 and I had $ 7.44 on my gift card) even though I had the $ 1 to pay the difference. I give it 1 star instead of 0 as it fills my donut fix.(And because I cannot give 0)

Don’t let the horrible reviews deter you from getting your donut fix here. I came in here feeling quite rough with a craving for something unhealthy. Literally cut over four lanes of traffic on Brandon Blvd. in three seconds after I saw the«hot now» sign. Checked the glazed ones, and they looked normal, ended up getting a V-day sprinkled one for me(cute decorations on baked goods is the ONLY good thing about Valentine’s day) and a dozen assorted for my colleagues at the fine institution of USF. It was good, and everyone was happy. This store is tiny and almost unnoticeable. It doesn’t have the retro, larger than life feel of the Krispy Kreme I grew up with in Alexandria, VA… where you can watch the doughnuts being made on the conveyor belt right in front of you… but it does the trick. I think they fixed their mistakes.

Who throws away Krispy Kreme doughnuts? Yes, I was so excited to see the«Hot Now» light illuminating through the window… Unfortunately, I didn’t take heed to one of the Unilocal reviewer’s(Kimberly) warning about not going through the drive-thru…Thank goodness, I only purchased two hot glazed doughnuts versus the ½ dozen or dozen… Well, as I going down Brandon Blvd. I took the anticipated first bite out of one of them(YUCK!!! I yelled and then turned on the truck’s dome lights to look at the doughnut); I balled up the doughnuts in a napkin and this was the first Krispy Kreme that has landed in the trash versus my tummy. Yes, that’s right I threw away the Krispy Kreme doughnuts. The first thought came to mind was — HOW can these people mess up a Krispy Kreme doughnut? The doughnut’s glazed was chalky and gritty… the doughnut was lukewarm and not fresh. Note, I’ve microwaved and used a conventional oven to reheat leftover Krispy Kreme doughnuts before and I never tasted chalky or gritty so I don’t know what this location has done to its doughnuts, but I won’t be back again.

Don’t use the drive through. Go inside so you can make sure your original glazed doughnuts aren’t covered in so much glaze the doughnut weighs 3x it’s normal weight. The doughnuts are GROSS with that much on them. See picture for visual aide.
