Jenni’s Cafe

Seems popular. Good for them. Felt like I was walking into a café run by a group of teenagers. Didn’t know what the soup of the day was and neither did they. A mix of fridges and self serve equipment made it confusing to know if there was table service or not. Not many places to sit, not because they were busy but because the dirty dishes weren’t removed. Over staffed and nobody was greeting anyone. Took a sit at the counter and left 4 – 5 minutes later because nobody said anything and no eye contact was given. Oh well maybe the food makes up for all this, I’ll never find out.

My family stopped in Saturday morning while waiting for one of our cars to be fixed. I ordered classic French toast, hubby ordered eggs, sausage and toast while I ordered our young boys pancakes. It was quite delicious! Although boys didn’t finish their pancakes, perhaps could have shared one plate since servings were generous!
We’ll definitely be coming back as it’s very local to us. Coffee needs bit of work though!

Everything we had was delicious and we’ll prepared. French onion soup made with fresh thyme. Special orders don’t upset them. A gem!

I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to try Jenni’s. This place is tucked away in a sort of crappy looking strip mall right next to an awful liquor store on 202, so I have always blown past it and never considered actually eating food from it. Big mistake. So far I’ve only had their breakfast options, but everything I’ve had has been awesome, reasonably priced, and super fast. They have healthy options (protein pancakes with either turkey bacon or turkey sausage are my go-to’s) and manly options (I get a «specialty» breakfast sandwich from here at least once a week). The selection is literally perfect for me. There’s a small dining area on the side of it which is great if you want to sit down and eat your food, and they do full table service.
Their breakfast options are 20 times better than bagel garden, which is the only other option travelling on 202 North during the morning commute. I will be coming back here FREQUENTLY.

My boyfriend and I love having breakfast delivered right to our door on a lazy Sunday morning. The food is excellent, so many options and healthy choices, and they are ALWAYS right on time with delivery. I have been telling all my local friends about it who now also order breakfast from Jenni’s!

Ate here twice recently with my son, can’t believe I’ve driven past here a million times & have never stopped. Kids who served us & cooked for us were super pleasant, friendly & courteous. Food was tasty, fast & just the right portion for me (think my son could have eaten a little more but he eats like a horse at 16 though lol)

Great breakfast place! They have healthy breakfast options also. I tried their waffles and veg omelet with rye bread, everything was great! I had a great Saturday brunch and will definitely recommend this local establishment.

Excellent breakfast and lunch spot, loved the food! Prices were excellent and the staff were very friendly. It’s a very laid back country café vibe. Better than any of the local dinners and we will definitely be back!

I really wanted to find a local breakfast/​brunch place and an alternative to the diner. The food was just ok and the coffee wasn’t that good. The atmosphere is headed in the right direction on the sit down side but needs improvements such as the old flooring. The take out counter detracts from the sit down. I’d remove the drink fridges and snack racks. Not sure if I’d try it again.

Quick service, friendly staff, great food… oh and it’s cheap. My kids love the food just as much as me and my wife do. Absolutely love the bread pudding muffins.

We have heard about Jenni’s Café through a couple of people. I ordered corn beef hash while my daughter ordered silver dollar chocolate chip pancakes. The pancakes and the corn beef hash are delicious!!!

Couldn’t even wait until we left to Unilocal about this place…

Can’t say enough about the food and service here. My boyfriend is a «meat and potatoes» kind of guy, and I’m a vegetarian… Jenni’s has something for everyone. They have traditional diner food (he got a sausage omelette and raved about it) but also have a really extensive healthy selections menu. I got a veggie stuffed sweet potato which was GREAT.
Everyone working here is super nice, the young guy serving us even stopped back over to make sure the order specifics were… they seem to be going the extra mile with all of the tables in here, which is really cool to see.
We also only arrived 30 minutes ago and are already finishing up our meal… they were crazy fast!
Oh and if that all wasn’t enough, pretty sure our meal is under 10 dollars… for both of us combined!!!
Can’t say enough about this place, we will definitely be back ASAP!

Just finished at Jenni’s– service was fantastic, friendly and quick. The food was amazing– highly recommend!

This is a cool little place. It’s on 202 in the same strip mall as Tex’s Liquor store and Phil’s pizza. We came on a Sunday during the brunch time frame and the place was packed. They had one table for my wife and I to sit at. They have a pretty good menu — tons of different breakfast options and a number of sandwiches/​lunch stuff. Service was fast and friendly throughout so that’s a plus.
My wife ordered french toast and bacon and said it was great. It did look good. I went with the Branchburg sandwich. It was ham, turkey and roast beef on a hoagie roll. I added some hot peppers to spice it up a bit. I also ordered some tater tots. It’s not every day you see a place that sells tater tots. I had to get them. The sandwich was fine; the roll could have been fresher. That’s my only knock. It was great to eat some tater tots. It definitely reminds you of being a kid.
The prices are incredibly reasonable here; they’re borderline cheap. We also got some cookies to go which were decent. I’d definitely come back.

This gem on 202 produced the best chicken cheese steak I’ve had outside of West Philly. I haven’t had much else on the menu yet, but based upon that premier performance I have to leave this review. Pro tip, ask for mayo on it too to experience their cheese steak the West Philly way.

Jenni’s is a sweet little spot I would have missed were it not for Unilocal reviews. Set in a tiny strip mall, it’s the kind of homey diner/​coffee shop/​café the area needs. Entrance is into the open kitchen and dinette area where you can opt to sit at the counter. A second room further along presents more tables for four (that can be easily moved around for larger groups). You can choose full table service, or order at the counter and have them bring food to you while you dine in.
I had a simple but classic egg and cheese sandwich on toasted rye. It was perfectly done with salt and pepper, and at the very affordable price any NY/​NJ tri-​state area inhabitant has come to expect. The group didn’t mind my lingering for a few hours to work. A few outlets along the wall are convenient.
Some sparse wall hangings try to warm the feel of a white walled establishment. I think a few more years of chotskies will help create a better developed vibe for the place. For now it just seems new, clean and clear (not a bad thing at all).
If I’m driving past and need a diner breakfast or lunch I’d come again.

Nice breakfast or lunch spot, certainly clean and well kept. The chicken cheesesteak is amazingly good!!! The Lawrence is just standard, fries were okay but unsalted. I ordered salmon with brown rice and the portions were ridiculously small, check out my posted pic. I noticed in their posted pics the portion of salmon was at least double what was given to me, I am not sure why I was short changed. I was super annoyed since I had to wait forever for it and it was completely unseasoned– not even salt and it was overcooked. Picking up takes way too long, both times I had to wait well over the stated time. I am certainly going to try them again (I’ll eat in), they have really nice staff and the place is typically crowded which is a good sign. They are definitely worth a try.

Hidden away in a strip mall off of 202 you will find Jenni’s, a small family run café offering locals fresh options for breakfast and lunch, 7 days a week.
You can find heartier options like the belly bomber bagel that comes with bacon, sausage, pork roll, eggs, potatoes and cheese or healthier options like protein pancakes or a veggie egg white omelette.
The menu is full of sandwich choices, both hot and cold or you could order a simple meal off of their healthy selections menu. There is truly something here to satisfy any appetite.
Service is fast and friendly and the atmosphere is inviting. Jenni’s is certainly worth a trip if you are in the area or just passing through.

The wife and I both had the veggie omelette… as my wife commented, it had the freshest veggies of any omelette we’ve ever had. The home fries and hash browns that came with it were excellent. Service was fast, pleasant and efficient. Price value is very high as the portions and quality are high. The open concept cooking area is cool, and the sit down dining area is very pleasant.

Prices are reasonable. Place seems clean and nicely decorated. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was on point and the homemade bread pudding muffin was incredible!
It looks like they also deliver in the area and have a catering menu.
Between Bagel Garden and Jenni’s Café, Branchburg has some good options for breakfast!
