Great place to stop for breakfast or lunch. Large variety of bagels and sandwiches to chose from. Bagels are very good and the staff is very courteous and fast. Also a great location

Friendly service at the counter, they are very pleasant and welcoming. They have an excellent selection of items and their bagels are delicious! This will definitely be my go to bagel place from now on.

I’ve been coming here for at least a decade, and their bagels are delicious. Prices are reasonable, the staff is attentive and efficient, and they’ve been a staple in the Branchburg community for years.

Bagel garden is my local go to place for bagels. They have solid bagels and great bagel sandwiches. Often times, when getting a bagel sandwich the proportions can be off(like at bagels 4 u) and you don’t enjoy it as much, but, bagel garden does the proportions perfect! They also will customize sandwiches for you. Try their jalapeño cream cheese if you like a bit of spice. The staff are very nice and attentive also, great place :)

The Bagel Garden has been on the northbound side of 202 for a pretty long time. Over the years, I’ve been here a ton. I stopped back in the other day to grab some bagel sandwiches. It’s a lively staff and they’ll make you laugh. They’re pretty efficient and they accept credit cards which is convenient. On my last trip, I had a turkey sandwich on an everything bagel. It was made exactly how I ordered it and the sandwich contained a fair amount of meat. They definitely do not skimp. I enjoyed it. Everything was fresh and the bagel was pretty good. I forgot to ask for the bagel toasted but that’s on me. Check out some of the special bagels; definitely some interesting choices. They also give you a free bag of chips with your sandwich(a very small bag but it’s still a nice touch). It’s a solid spot and now that I’m living in the area, I’ll definitely be coming back to this place.

I’m a weekend regular and recognized by the staff. Since I get the same thing all the time I’ll leave it to the others to comment on the food. Bagel Garden also sells bus tickets to New York City. After making my purchase I left for the parking lot down Route 202. I recognized I left my bus tickets behind and was about to return to the store. However, I was blocked! It was Tom, the owner of Bagel Garden, waving my tickets from his car! I would have missed the bus had he not done that. The food is good but beyond that, I certainly appreciate purchasing from business owners who show genuine concern regarding their customers.

Friendly staff and yummy bagels. The best part is that they are consistent. All my bacon, egg, and cheese on an everything bagel orders have been the same every time. There was one time they mistakenly put scallion cream cheese when I asked for veggie cream cheese but they redid my order once I brought it to their attention. I’ve taken home a dozen bagels to freeze and have over time and they were still great!

Though I don’t frequently eat bagels, they are the occasional weekend treat and a staple when hosting brunch… enter bagel garden. I’ve been here a number of times and it’s always consistent. Lots of choices for bagels(even pumpkin in the fall!) and flavored cream cheeses. Prices are reasonable and they do well keeping it moving during the morning and weekend rush. Docking a point on the fish front. It’s a pet peeve of mine to have poorly sliced and packaged lox. In my opinion, I get a better product at Wegman’s.

This place has the best bagels in the area. I have had my fair share of bagels, and no one matches their consistency and service. Their everything bagels are my favorite, as they have salt on them which seems to be hard to find. Their cream cheese is always fresh, and served generously. They have seasonal cream cheeses as well, and if you come in the fall I highly recommend the pumpkin CC. Their breakfast sandwiches are also amazing and they use a generous amount of cheese and not too much ketchup. The regular sandwiches are also delicious. The staff is so incredibly friendly. You always get a «hi, hello, how are ya» when you walk in. There is always a crowd on weekends but they move very fast, so you never have to wait long.

This place is great — solid bagels prepared quickly in the mornings and they get your order right. I’ve been coming here for over 10 years and haven’t been disappointed.

Accidentally stayed on 202 instead of veering off onto 31 North at the Flemington Circle. Inconvenient mistake for my travel time, but this little detour allowed me to stumble upon this place. Really impressive selection of bagels and the staff was quite friendly. Bagels were good(definitely relative to Philly and on par with most in North/Central Jersey and New York). Prices were fair too: I paid $ 5 for my «energy» bagel(bagel with raisins, nuts and honey) with flavored cream cheese and an OJ.

Wow… I’m really confused at the bad reviews here! This place is awesome! They are organized, attentive, and above all FRIENDLY. This has the be the first time in Jersey that I’ve received prompt service with a REAL smile from all of the staff. The food is great, you cant go wrong with bagels! A+

So they don’t advertise it, but they’re definitely under new management now. I’m so disappointed! Big downgrade staff-wise. The last time I stopped by(just a few weekends ago), there were very few bagels when we arrived, which was around 9:30AM. They had a surplus of plain bagels and almost nothing else! Plus, bagels were in incorrectly marked baskets. It was confusing and sloppy. The quality is still okay, I guess. But the new staff seems to care a lot less than the old staff. Definitely not as many samples put out of the morning pastries, and the wait time has increased. Boo! I miss the old you. ‚(

I first started coming here for lunch a few years ago. I would order one of the chicken or turkey specials which were very good. They have a great variety of sandwiches, drinks, pastries and such. Their raspberry danish is delicious! When I began going for breakfast, I’d get pork roll, egg & cheese. Now I like their egg white with turkey sausage sandwich. My last sandwich was not as thick as before, but was still good. I usually take home a plain rye bagel-my fav. Luckily, I’ve never had a problem with the staff or anything like that. The lady at the register is pleasant, no complaints. Two places like this near my house closed down, so I look forward to coming to Bagel Garden.

I’ve been coming here for years, it’s a hidden gem in this area. I have never heard of Bagel Garden until my friend took me here. The bagels are so fresh and taste just as great! My favorites are the egg, cinnamon raisin, and new power bagels! I love to get peanut butter on mine or other occasions I’ll get a Blt or pork roll, egg, and cheese which are all very good! I’ve never had a problem here, no long waits, food is served to your table, clean environment. I usually just grab a snapple or fruit juice in one of their coolers, haven’t had their coffee so I can’t comment. It’s close to home, affordable, fast, and delicious. Hits the spot, what else can you ask for?

Multigrain bagel with lox spread and a tomato?! Yum! The customer service was fast and I was in and out in less than ten minutes which was definitely a plus after stopping on the way into work! There were so many options though I got distracted and forgot to get some much needed coffee! Well I guess the coffee will be subject to my scrutiny next time!

I’ve been coming to this place for about 10 years starting from when I was 8. The place has changed owners 3 times. It’s been interesting to see how it’s changed over the years. When I was younger this was my favorite place to get Cinnamon Raisin bagels. So cinnamony and full of raisins. Same thing with the bread they used to use for their sandwiches. Not sure what type of bread it was, maybe ciabatta, but I think they made it themselves. The place changed from being run by a Korean family back to being run by a Caucasian family. Since all these change, their Cinnamon Raisin bagels have been lacking. There’s hardly any raisins and it’s almost the color of a plain bagel. Also they no longer have their delicious sandwich breads opting for standard kaiser rolls instead which in my opinion make the sandwiches soggy. One bagel they do have now that I absolutely love is their Power Bagel. It’s a 7-grain type bagel with walnuts, raisins, nuts etc. So delicious.

Eh. It was a bagel. It was good, I guess… but really, after I’ve tried it once, I wouldn’t go out of my way to get back there. I had an everything bagel with lite veggie cream cheese. Bagel was decent, cream cheese was a little funny tasting. Coffee was probably the best part of my breakfast. My husband ordered a bagel sandwich with sausage, egg, and cheese and his response to it was, «This is decent. It’s good.» So, yeah. Not exactly streamers and unicorns. I have to say, though… it was definitely bustling. Maybe I missed something, but I can’t say I’m dying to get back and figure out what that was.

I used to live in the area and would come to Bagel Garden quite often. Since my most recent visit, I hadn’t been to the Bagel Garden for at least ten years. When I walked in, it smelled exactly the same as I remember it! The bagel variety is average of usual NJ bagel selections, which means above average in terms of every other state(aside from NY — they understand the art of the bagel too). The bagel itself was very good. I got an egg bagel. It was fresh and doughy and great. Bagel Garden has at least a dozen different spreads to choose from, mostly cream-cheese based(as well as tuna salad, chicken salad, etc.). I can vouch for the veggie cream cheese spread — absolutely delectable. I got the«light» version and it was still absolutely delicious. Returning to Bagel Garden was a delicious trip down memory lane!
