I am actually surprised by the reviews here.
The service sucked.
It seemed that they couldn’t be bothered to help us out. Manager Jason looked busy. Conner (I may have gotten the name wrong) had a hard time answering our questions as it looked like he really really didn’t want to be bothered and almost used a patronizing tone with us, not sure why! There may have been like 2 or 3 customers in the store then.
This place is over priced with really bad customer service ! If you are into recreational biking — go to the many many other stores in the area that carry great bikes with good prices, collection and customer service.

So as you may have read from previous reviews that we had purchased four bikes from here in the past. Then tried to buy our son a 20 inch last spring, but had some issues with not getting calls back on one that we ordered. So this time my daughter was ready for her 20 inch. We decided to give it a try again since they are close to our house and they were helpful the first time. We pretty much knew exactly what we wanted before we went into the store. It wasn’t in stock, but they were able to order it. Bicycle outfitters had it ordered and built for us within four days and called us! When we picked it up all was smooth and we even traded some bikes in! Overall a great experience this time around!

My first time in was 2 weeks ago on Sunday. 2 young men were worrying and treated me great. Helped me change pedals and even invited me in their weekly ride. Excellent service and this will now be my only bike shop!

Jason and the team at this bike shop are the best. They are all cyclists themselves, so they are well versed and can make sensible reccomendations. Their service department is prompt and they will do everything they can do to help you. I have bought a nice road bike here and when I needed a different seat for my CX bike, I was able to stop by and they installed it plus made a few adjustments. As always, some good bike stories were swapped and I walked out of the store with a good experience. Now if they could melt all the snow…

My son bought a BMX bike online and he was so excited to get riding! The guys here tightened the chain and adjusted to brakes properly (so he didn’t kill himself). They also shared his enthusiasm for his new purchase. Truly could not have been any nicer! Amazing customer service, especially when it wasn’t purchased there. Our next bike will absolutely come from here! Great service and great addition to Brambleton!!!

Our experience at Bicycle Outfitters was wonderful. We came in to get a tune up on my husband’s bike and to get the grips and kickstand fixed on my son’s bike. They were able to complete the work on my son’s bike in the store while we waited. They offered us alternatives and options for the tune up. Their customer service was fantastic, they were friendly and extremely knowledgeable! Finally… something decent in Brambleton Town Center! Now if only we could get some more restaurants…

I’m a serious road rider with three bikes (currently :)). I’m always in a bike shop somewhere and found this one recently. Seems like a good crew, they helped me with several mechanical issues or parts for very fair prices, and when my wife has looked at bikes they did not hard sell us. She’s still thinking about it and they are perfectly happy to let her get to a decision in her own time.
I’ve watched them deal with other customers and they have a good approach and all seem genuinely friendly and invested in good customer service.
Good shop, decent collection of bikes, good team — definitely a very good option in this area.

We stopped here to buy a new bicycle for my son’s birthday. The staff were courteous and helpful. I didn’t do a price comparison with other shops in the area, but the prices seemed reasonable /​about what I expected. They offer a trade-​in for older bikes, too, so that relieved some of my anxiety of buying my son a bike that he’s going to outgrow within a couple of years.

Friendly and helpful, they helped me redo my tribike for SAVAGEMAN. The changes got me my «brick» and to the finish line.

We visited the shop today to purchase a bike for our son’s 10^th birthday. What I liked the most was that they didn’t steer us towards the expensive bikes and actually took the time to measure him properly and advised us to get a bike that was his size and would grow with him. They didn’t try to upsell us on accessories either (athough we did purchase them). Jason (the owner) and Matt (on the floor) were both very patient with my son and explained to him the gears, how to use them, when to use them, and even let my son behind the counter to install the kickstand and water bottle holder himself. They were very busy at the time, but still were able to make us comfortable with our purchase and confidant that we were getting the right bike for our son. We will back within the month to purchase a bike for one of our other children too. The prices were reasonable too. We didn’t want a cheap bike, but we weren’t going to spend a fortune on a bike either. They had adult bike options there from $ 375 to over $ 8,000 (one of those super lightweight cycling bikes with customizable options!). We did not look at the kid sized bikes, but there were plenty to choose from.
