The North Face

I don’t normally shop at the North Face store or at the South Shore Plaza, for that matter, but Famous Footwear just recently opened, and I thought I’d stop in to look for a few jackets. I didn’t find what I needed, and prices were difficult to find, yet Jessica made my experience here great! After searching the store for a few minutes, I asked an employee, Jessica about a few of their jackets. She was SO friendly, helpful, and effective in knowing about each and everyone of their products and being able to efficiently check if they had any in the back (when there were a few things not on-​the-​floor. The store was extremely clean and organized.
Located in the South Shore Plaza, Exit 6 off Route 3 in Braintree. Second floor, Nordstrom side. 4 stars. I may be returning.

Awful! Overpriced with terrible customer service. Being in retail selling items much more expensive and in some cases making less than that of a sale of a north face jacket, one would expect much better service. I brought my jacket in to get zipper repaired a month ago. It’s a couple months old and I called to see if it was ready to pick up today and was told another 4 – 6 weeks. Something’s definitely wrong here! At this point they can keep it. No problem but I guarantee I won’t buy another north face item ever again.

I definitely like this store! I was searching for a coat that was no longer available online, but was only sold in the store. I figured I would stop in this particular store to see if they had it and whether or not they could check the inventory of another store. Well, they didn’t have the coat that I wanted (bummer!), but they advised that I try the one they did have (in a different color) on for size to make sure. Once we knew what I needed, the sales association called the Natick store and confirmed their inventory. I love to shop and my husband was home cleaning the house; I was in no rush to get home. So long story short … they went above and beyond what they had to do and in the end, I got my coat.
People may complain that their items are overpriced. Maybe, maybe not? I’ve always found their gear to be of high quality, but they have a fantastic warranty! Between backpacks and heavy duty coats, if something isn’t right — just call their 1 – 800 line and explain what they problem is. 99% of the time, they will go out of their way to help.
Fantastic customer service at the Braintree store! Great products and a clean storefront. Can’t be beat!

Went in here once with my boyfriend and our son trying to return a jacket for a larger size for my boyfriend. He received a coat as a gift and it was too small. One employee, a 20 something young woman with very short hair helped us out from the start. I wanted to write this review because i am VERY impressed with her helping. She was patient, friendly, not rude about us having our energetic 2 yr old son with us, and she was very knowledgable! She pointed us in the right direction for certain coat types that came with better features to suite him better but not in an upselling way that made me feel like she was just making a sale. She probably spent over an hour with us and really helped as much as she could even though we walked out empty handed. This store and employee impressed me big time with its great customer service!

They offered a promotion for their grand opening on Twitter. I won of their jackets estimated at $ 90. For a start I loved this place. Ever since, I go here to get a jacket once it reaches the Winter season to get a new fashionable jacket.
Reasonable priced. The employees were very helpful, finding more sizes of items in their inventory for me. During my 20 minute visit, 3 employees approached me asking if I found everything.

This store is big! I like the seating section where you can sit and look at the catalog and or take a nap. I doubt that the employees would care.
Huge collection on coats, jackets, hiking gear, running gear, bags, and hats.
The staff here is very knowledgeable. I purchased a light rain jacket, and I was trying to decide between 2 different ones. The sales person asked me various questions, like ‘how often would I use this jacket’ ‘do you want it to keep you warm’. I answered them, and we both decided on the perfect jacket for me. This guy really knew what he was talking about, and knows his jackets. I asked so many questions too, and he answered all of them without difficulty.
