I went here with Big Bang Theory in mind and was surprised to see it was more of an upscale type of restaurant, but decided to give it a chance anyway. The lighting in the place was dark and hard to read the menu. There were an annoying group of people sitting near us that were using their phone’s bright spotlights to read, which constantly shown directly into my or one of my friend’s eyes. My food was overpriced, bland spaghetti. The portions were small, the staff rude, and the atmosphere obnoxious. I don’t understand how this place gets any business.

This place truly sucks. I was given a pager said 15 min wait, 35 mins goes by nothing. I go up to the counter and they said I must have got a defective pager. No apology. We ordered Tuna Tartare it was absolutely disgusting, it was old, fishy and NOTFRESH. My father ended up getting food poisoning from Salmon on top of this horrible experience. Honestly stay away, its not worth it, they clearly could care less about food quality and service.

Usually i come here since food is decent but today… Just baffled me. Stale old bread. Stale fries with my order. Whoever made my drink put my HOT drink in a GLASS, instead of a mug. How’d they solve this? Just put a sleeve on it. The hot chocolate was basically a cup of milk. Strawberry shortcake was perhaps stale or old because it was tough/chewy. It was more like shortbread ice cream sandwiches with whipped cream and strawberries on the side. Burger was alright at best. Should’ve gone to Fridays instead.

Went with a few friends before New Year’s Eve and the food was pretty decent. Got the Cajun jambayalan pasta and it was pretty plain compared to say the spicy chipotle pasta I usually get. We also got the herb salmon, spicy chipotle, shepherds pie, and a cheeseburger. The salmon was pretty good, not too dry. The sauce was tangy and the asparagus was a little bitter to my taste. The design kind of looks like a claw with a bunch of fingers too so we got a laugh out of that. My friend says that it was pretty plain. The shepherds pie was not what I had imagined. It had mashed potatoes on top with mushrooms and ground beef on the bottom with a subtle sauce. I thought it was all right when I took a bite out of it from my friend’s plate. The spicy chipotle was okay. Just like the usual which is always a plus. The Cajun pasta had shrimp and chicken. They were both so full of moisture and not dry. The only down part was that the whole dish isn’t very seasoned. It was so plain I had to add extra salt and pepper to get SOME flavor in my mouth. SERVICE: It was really good. Our waiter was super friendly and got us a lot of bread which I personally loved. The only downside was that my friend’s spicy chipotle order was wrong. But we just had to wait around 5 – 10 more minutes but we were all eating when his food wasn’t there which wasn’t enjoyable. This is a good place to go with family and such. No high expectations from such a hyped up place.

Usually like this place, but things were a bit off this time around. Somewhat expected with big chains like this though. When being brought to our table, the floors were extremely slippery. Not that it was wet or anything was on the floor, but seriously had to walk with caution or else you would have fallen. Once getting to the table, I noticed right away that both of my forks were dirty with previous food crusted on. Before taking a sip from my cup of water, the cup was crusted with bits of food and the food was floating in the water. Once we told our server, even he said«that is pretty gross.» He brought a new cup of water and make sure to check that it was clean. Our server was attentive and really chill. We got the Gluten Free pasta with shrimp and tomatoes, the shrimp was not deveined and the meal itself needed more flavor. The pasta carbonara was just okay. We also got the bbq chicken pizza which was pretty good. Luckily we saved space for dessert. We got the original cheesecake with strawberries and whipped cream. It was delicious although a bit too soft. There was plenty of whipped cream almost too much, but then again you can never have too much!

The service is good. But the food is lackluster. Maybe I have a tendency towards now flavorful foods but I find most of their offerings bland. The cheesecake, however, is to die for.

My boyfriend and I were excited to come here for dinner and cheesecake. Im usually content with the food especially there are some Cheesecake Factory in NYC. However, I was quite disappointed. I ordered Shrimp with Angel Hair. When my order came, I was so shocked. My dish was literally covered with tomatoes. It was seriously overload with tomatoes. We ordered the White Chocolate Caramel Macadamia Nut cheesecake. I don’t understand why our waitress decided to overload the slice with whip cream. The service was decent. Im not sure if I would want to come back to this restaurant anytime soon.

I usually love this place but not today. The waitress was MIA. They brought everyone’s food put except my 9yr olds. Waitress never came back to ask how pur meal was and we have been waiting forever for the check. The potato soup was subpar and not warm enough. The kids grilled cheese was good but nothing great. The flavored iced tea(passion fruit) was watery lacking taste and the rest of the meals were just okay. Not worth the expensive bill.

Granted it’s the weekend and the restaurant is a bit busy but the bakery didn’t have a line and I waited about 15 minutes to someone to get a frozen cake(original, not a specialty cake) from the freezer for me to go…

Shrimp bistro — it’s ok. Hardly any flavor. Mediocre pieces of shrimp. Hardly any mushroom toppings. Strawberry short cake– biscuits were not warned, they were hard as a rock. Ice cream, had no frost bites on it, so it was good. Whipped cream was ok, at least they didn’t use cool whip . Warned biscuits on bottom of melting ice cream would have been great . Service — alright not bad.

My family and I just moved to Braintree from Texas. We were super excited that there was a Cheesecake Factory right down the road from our new home. Having two young children who love this restaurant, we’ve already frequented it 5 or 6 times. I’ve tried so hard to want to go back seeing as it’s so convenient, but the service has been so awful each time, that for the money, we’d rather go elsewhere. The food has been delicious each and every time we go, but for some reason, we wait at least 20 minutes AFTER being seated to have just our drink order taken. By this time, we are ready to order as well except I guess that’s a little too much for the staff since we don’t even get our drinks until our food has almost been brought out. For me, drinks are equally as important. I am a diet coke drinker and usually go through about 2 refills. I don’t think I’ve ever been given a refill the times we went at this location. My point is, the food is fantastic, but the young staff that is employed at this location is very below par. When you spend the amount of money we do at a restaurant as a family(which is at least 100 if not more), you expect better service — or at least average service. If this location could clean up their act a bit, it would be a must go.

Sorry, this food is way, way over salted. There is something very heavy about the taste. I will not return. Service and atmosphere is nice.

Me and the wife where hungry after we went registry shopping for a few hours. We decide to go to the Cheesecake Factory in the south shore plaza. For a Sunday night it was fairly busy and very active. They told us 10 min for outdoor seating for 2, and sure enough it was pretty fast. Bread took a little bit of time to get there after we ordered our food and drinks but pretty usual it’s busy. Food was delicious, cooked real well and made to perfection. Our meals were really good and the desert was not that bad. The original cheesecake was good but a little to soft. I was used to those kind of cheesecakes that when you cut into them they are still pretty sturdy in a way. If that makes any sense to anybody but I ate it anyways.

My roommate and I chose to go to this spot after seeing the copious amount of vegan options they had on the menu.(well vegetarian, but you can make them vegan). We sat at a high top table at the bar because the wait looked long for a dining table. Boy did we have the right idea! We had the best service I have received in a very long time. Our waitress, SamL caught us off guard welcoming us in the most bubbly of manors. We had a few questions about the menu, as my friend cannot eat any dairy or meat. Sam knew the entire menu(and that says something for a menu that’s multiple pages long). We were able to get two very tasty dishes! As far as food goes! I ordered the mac and cheese balls for an appetizer, and Kayla ordered sweet potato fries. When I say melt in your mouth cheese balls… I mean it. The sweet potato fries are satisfyingly crispy as well! By the time our entrees came we were too full to even eat half! They made for delicious left overs. The drinks were sub par, definitely not what we wanted, but they were still good enough to order a second. I will absolutely go back and request Sam… and the cheese balls.

The food here is decent. One of my usual go to places at the mall since it is larger than most of the restaurants that are located at the south shore plaza. I tend to never make it to dessert and always end up bringing my meal home since the portions are huge. The servers are fast and efficient since there is usually always a crowd. They’re informative and are nice even when customers are being groggy. I tend to stick to the pasta selections although I have tried many items from the menu. I still have yet to try the sunday brunch! I will eventually as the menu looks so enticing to me.

«Chad’s Eats» review of The Cheesecake Factory Cuisine: Friggin Everything ! Location: Braintree Mall Parking: It’s the mall so on the weekends and especially losing hundreds of spots to snow mountains it can suck Décor /Ambiance: Beautiful. This is a top class chain in my mind. There are a few chains I endorse and this is one. Greeting: Pros even when slamming busy they have a system in place to get you seated at quickly as possible. Menu mix: Oh boy! When I said«friggin everything» in the cuisine I meant it. It is without a doubt the biggest menu you will ever see. It’s a lot to take in AND they got specials on top of the endless selections. Pick any cuisine and I guarantee its on there. Water /Bread service: Excellent, bread is great. They give you a dark molasses type bread and a French baguette. Hard to stay away from eating it all. Drink pour: Don’t remember getting wine or drinks but from what I have seen at other tables it looks like a generous pour. Food quality: I always enjoy my food here. Food always seems to be fresh, the presentation is always neat and clean flavors are always right on. Service: These folks are pros. Very attentive. Value: Consistent with the food quality, service and ambience Bathrooms: Spotless Would I return? Always do, mostly for lunch Comments & Tips: They have great salads, one of my favorites is in the skinnylicious menu. Goes down grade after having a couple of cheeseburger sliders which are awesome. I also really like their fish tacos and when it comes to their cheesecakes it is one of the hardest decisions you’ll ever make in life because they’re so friggin awesome. One of my all-time favorites is the red velvet cheesecake and a pineapple upside down cheesecake and to many more to Mention and oh my God my stomach is rumbling now thinking about it

I used to go to the cheesecake factory ALLOFTHETIME when I lived in providence. when this one opened up I went a few times but by that point in my life I had realized there was more to life then 2,000 calorie plates of pasta. However I recently went here with my mother around brunch o’clock and I had their crab hash. I would 100% go there again just to get this. Super light great flavors with crab and celery and peppers and onions with a little bit of hollandaise and two poached eggs. Yum. It probably still had 2000 calories in it but oh well. My mother had some kind of french toast monstrosity that was also delicious.

I’d like to specifically dedicate this review to the Cheesecake Factory«skinny» menu. Overall, at this location we had great service and sat at one of the«bar» tables. It always kills me how fancy Cheesecake Factory is inside… for a chain. Anyways, it seems like Cheesecake Factory is of the«any meal is a 500 calorie meal depending on what you eat» school of thought. Most of the options on this menu were the same unhealthy choices they normally have, just in tiny portions. Luckily they adjust the prices accordingly. And to be honest, their normal portions are way to big, so it’s nice to get small plates from this menu. I won’t even go into what my meal companion had(not on the skinnylicious menu or whatever). I ordered the grilled artichoke and the beet salad. I wouldn’t reccomend the beet salad – it just didn’t really taste fresh, and it was a little acidic in a bad way… like the beets had been washed in soap or something. The grilled artichoke was actually really good. The dipping sauce is a nice little addition to the plate so you don’t feel like you are totally eating rabbit food. I applaud the commitment to giving more options, but I find that cheesecake factory often does a lot of things but not well. I know«dessert» and«skinny» seem like they are mutually exclusive, but I would push them to develop more gluten free or vegan options for dessert(I know they can do more than a bowl of strawberries if they have 30+ cheesecakes).
