Massage Envy

Buyer beware! The customer service desk is extremely rude and unhelpful. They have no problem telling you that they aren’t confusing you, but that you aren’t listening. I bought a membership and you would think they would at least treat their members with an ounce of respect! I have been trying to cancel my membership for a month now. One representive tells you one thing while another tells a different story. I called to check in on the status of my cancellation form and without even asking how to spell my name, I am told that it was never sent! Why? Well because I did not get a call from the manager. No way could the form have been misplaced or put into the wrong person’s hands. Apparently their help has physic powers that allow them to know everything without checking. Even when I noted the disconnect was between Massage Envy offices, I was told it was not their responsibility to figure it out. Luckily the other office stepped in and noted they would call this branch to sort it out. Fingers crossed some level of service is presented soon!
This experience has been nothing short of a nightmare. Don’t do the membership!

This location is very convenient and close to home and gym. The spa is located in a «strip mall» that has plenty of parking (which is a plus in the Greater Boston area). The location, I think, is fairly new and spacious. Upon entering you are greeted with heated neck pillow, and are guided to the waiting area, which is dimly lit and tranquil. There are plenty of massage and facial rooms, and the spa goes pretty far back into the space. The actual room is comparable to other Massage envy treatment spaces.
I have only had Jorge as my therapist. He specializes in deep tissue and his technique is good.

A few years ago I got in a terrible car accident and my back has never been the same. Last September I started seeing Miza at massage envy, once a month for an hour massage and she has changed my life. Each time I see her I feel relief. She makes me feel comfortable, she has great hands and can use as much or as little pressure as you would like. Her home care advice has also helped week to week. I feel better each time I visit her.
