Good Energy Holistic Studio

I wish I could give Good Energy more than 5 stars. I’m really grateful that a neighbor recommended Theresa to me, after another neighbor had recommended Theresa to her. I don’t think I’ve ever looked forward to anything more than my appointments with Theresa. I’ve been going to her for several years now, and I always leave feeling fantastic – like I’ve melted into a puddle of goo (in a good way!). She gets to know you and what your body needs very quickly, but always asks when you show up for your appointment what you are looking for that day – if anything specific is bothering you, if you want to focus on anything specific, etc. Even with a massage, she will stretch me or work in other types of therapy if she thinks it will help me feel better (but of course she’ll first make sure I’m comfortable with it). I love the cozy, relaxed atmosphere she’s able to create, at both her former studio and her current one. It’s very soothing, especially with the music she selects, and always smells great. She also remembers what we talked about the last time I saw her; it’s clear she really cares about her clients, and she’s become a friend. She’s very accommodating if I ever need to change my appointments… which, of course, I absolutely hate to do; I can never wait patiently for my next one!

I’ve been to Good Energy 6+ times now as has my husband. Theresa is an excellent massage therapist! And if you email her, she sometimes has openings the same day :)

I cannot say enough good things about Theresa! She is an excellent massage therapist who takes the time to get to you know and what you want to get out of your massage. The space is so calming and relaxing. I go to her on a semi-​regular basis for deep tissue massages and I always look forward to them. She’s very reasonably priced and very easy to schedule with.

The location has changed since I first reviewed this place, but it’s still a wonderful space! I love Theresa! I’ve been seeing her for over 2 years now. She gives an amazing massage, is very accommodating, and is a wonderful person. I’m so happy that I found her.

Hand’s down, the best massage I’ve had in the Boston area. Theresa is extremely accommodating with the appointments, easy to talk to and focuses in on exactly what you ask (with the perfect amount of pressure).

Theresa does a great job! Massage was extremely relaxing and she gets all the right spots to get those knots out. Will be back for sure!

I stumbled upon Good Energy after seeing a Groupon, and all I can say is WOW I am SO incredibly happy that I purchased that groupon. I went in with bad stiffness/​soreness in my upper back. After filling out the first time paperwork and discussing where I would like her to focus on, we went into the massage room. Theresa paid amazing attention to the specific areas that I had mentioned and managed to release a lot of the soreness. I was so relaxed during the massage, even as she worked her magic on the deep knots, that I was almost completely asleep. I already have a second appointment booked and I’m looking forward to her magic touch again. Her studio has a very warm and inviting feeling. If you’re looking for a great massage, you should definitely check her out!

I had a massage this Saturday and have to say that this has been the best massage I have ever had. She has this amazing skill of stopping (with her fingers) and almost poking at certain spots into your muscles where it seems to have a knot. I was apprehensive about that and a similar poking-​like massage movement by lifting my head/​neck. But in retrospect I feel great and am very happy about it right now — even after 5 days. In the past whenever someone touched my neck I’ve had issues with my neck movement. For months my neck was cracking and back was hurting. I feel so good and am definitely going back. She is very friendly and is very thorough in her massages. There is plenty of parking too.

I love, love, love Good Energy. Came for the yoga, stayed for the massage! The minute you walk into the studio, there is a wave of calm and serenity that just washes over you and sets the mood for the entire time.
Theresa is the owner and really values her clients. She constantly asks for clients’ input with regards to new classes or schedule changes. Her massages are amazing. I normally have weird hang ups about massage, but she just makes me feel so at ease that all of that goes away. Perfect amount of pressure and she takes her time. I I regularly go to her for Reiki treatments as well and feel amazing for days afterwards. She is also a wonderful resource for holistic and homoepathic advice. Her studio is a real gem on the South Shore!!! I am a client for life.

Just got back from my massage and I have got to say it is the best massage I have ever had! Theresa is very friendly and easy to talk to, but she gives the BEST deep tissue massage ever!!! Definitely recommended and I will definitely be back!

Theresa is exceptional at what she does! That includes more than just a massage. She asks questions and actually listens to your answers. Once she gets down to business, she gives the best massage that I’ve ever had. I have had massages by a number of therapists, couple of whom were very good. Theresa has exceeded all of them!

Theresa just keeps getting better and better at her craft… dare I say best massage on the south shore? I dare.
