D’Angelo Grilled Sandwiches

Fair warning dont ever get something complicated from this place or a salad. Every single time I order from this place my order gets screwed up, that take forever, and the employees are rude. Just ordered a salad and they put the dressing on themselves and DRENCHED IT. I couldnt even eat it because there was more dressing than salad. I dont know what place would ever put the dressing on themselves. This was my last strike from them. Never again

I go this location relatively often and generally I don’t have an issue, but yesterday was a different story. Yesterday I walked in and placed my order for a sub to go and then waited for it to be ready. Once it was ready I saw that they had placed it on a tray for an eat in order, not a big deal I figured I just ask to get it wrapped to go. When I asked this, the worker gave me the worst and rudest attitude I can remember getting from anybody. He began staring me down before taking the sub from the tray and slamming it onto the counter to wrap it. Again this was all done while completely staring me down and without saying a word. The sub was fine, but this guy’s attitude got me angry enough to make a Unilocal account and come here to post the review.

The best lobster sandwich I had in my life. I visit every time I come to Boston. The service is amazing and the staff always friendly!

I have been here several times since I started working in Braintree however I looked at the menu online and saw the new Lobster BLT sandwich. I figured it would be more than their normal $ 7 – 9 sandwich. I thought $ 12 – 15 so I ordered one and stupid me did not ask how much on the phone. I get there to find out it was $ 23.50… Come on, I have fed a family of 4 at Chipotle for that! At least it was delicious!

This is our go-​to stop before every road trip. The sandwiches are always great and the staff has a sense of humor. They’re a bit slow on the phone, but they make a solid sandwich.

Recently had my first D’Angelo’s experience and it was better than expected. The staff here were efficient. I got a wrap and it was pretty good — I got a ton of toppings — including pineapple! A medium wrap for lunch more than filled me up. I couldn’t even finish it — so portion sizes are good. I would come here again.

Staff was a bit short on help. Took my order from the grill. A nice roast beef with pepper jack. The sub bread was not opened properly and that lost them a star as did the being short staffed (which leads to shorter tempers).
Not sure I’ll be back to this location

I’m not too sure why this place has a bad «WRAP» Ha Ha! But, I’ve gone here a few times in the past six months and it’s been fantastic. I must say though the inside is definitely in need of some updating and and some serious elbow grease cleaning! The ceiling and the ceiling lighting alone is just covered in filth! BUT, the food is always really yummy! Corporate needs to come in and definitely do something with the inside ASAP! It’s outdated and yucky!

pricey, cheap on portions, and dirty

The sandwiches aren’t great tasting. I had to work to finish them. However, it’s inexpensive and convenient. They give out coupons frequently. I’ve tried the turkey wrap and the steak bomb here.
It’s right by the N Quincy Red line and has parking.

D’angelo has been around New England for very long time. The most famous sandwich is the «Number 9» it used to be called the «Number 9 POKKET» it’s essentially the merger of a Phillie Cheese Steak with a New England style «Steak Bomb.» Shaved beef with grilled onions, peppers, mushrooms, and topped with cheese. This trip I tried the new Baked Stuffed Lobster Roll. At $ 20, this meal included a (medium size) real lobster salad sub, a bag of chips and a medium soda.
