The Saturday in early August 2015 they were closed and totally empty. If you want to roll the dice, I recommend that you call first.

We stopped by the farm stand on a whim during a motorcycle ride, and overall were not impressed. While the produce was in reasonably good shape, it wasn’t exemplary for the prices charged. Also, while we don’t necessarily expect a deal, per se, then being on motorcycles with limited carrying space didn’t yield any break in the marked up single item prices(ie — 2 for $ 5 but 1 for $ 3). There are many worthwhile stands in the area.

This is where I got my pumpkins this year(.45 cents per pound)! What a cute little farm! They took us on a good 5 – 10 minute hayride through the woods before dropping us off at the pumpkin patch to pick our pumpkins. They also had a great little stand with hotdogs, cider and snowballs… they also had an abundance of fresh produce available… a quite way to spend an hour on a fall day!

Should have reviewed Huber’s ions ago. Immensely enjoyed my strawberry-frolicking adventure with friends there last summer. With the summer almost here, and berry-picking starting in the next few weeks, would suggest monitoring Huber’s web site if you are serious about fresh, fresh berries — and getting out in the fresh, fresh air. Note: they sell other locally produced fruits and veggies as well — and I see, from the first Unilocal review, that there are hayrides — which got me to thinkin’… Oh! And I just saw on their website that they are having a STRAWBERRYFESTIVAL on May 22 – 23. Excellent!

Great place for fresh produce a short jump from the city. Pick your own available! Seasonal activities are fun as well, haunted hay rides!
