I’ve never even stepped foot into this place but I just had a bite of a grinder my mom picked up and I’m sold. Ever since moving from jersey I couldn’t really find a decent spot for sandwiches and even started thinking subway tasted good. This makes me so happy because I live 3 mins down the street! I pass it all the time now it’ll be my go to. Super fresh and delicious keep up the good work!

This is a great little town store… Grinders are fresh and awesome, staff is friendly, and they have the best Mac n Cheese — (AND they have Calise bread… A staple when I lived in northern RI in my youth). I have to control myself so I don’t go in there every time I come home from work for the Mac n cheese …(it’s on the way). Stop in, you won’t be disappointed…

There is a saying about the best food being at a hole-​in-​the-​wall. Pete’s has sat on the edge of Westerly for over 50 years and even though it has changed hands– the original recipe for making amazing grinders is intact. What better way to enjoy the beach than munching on one of Pete’s grinders. Move over Subway!

Very popular local store. Great for grinders. Always busy at all times of day… Parking is pretty crazy. I’m surprised this is the first review of this place with how popular it is.
