Good Mediterranean food We popped in tonight for takeout. Our order taker was super friendly and complimentary, and once he learned it was our first visit he got samples of a few of their sides for us to try. We had looked over the menu before we arrived and knew what we wanted, at least I knew, my wife still figuring things out. The food is made to order so this is not fast food but we were told up front it was going to take about 12 minutes for our order, and it did. In fact their line on their website is «Fresh Food, not fast food». They also have a dining room that was clean and comfortable. We liked the food. I had the Chicken Kabob with a few sides, and sampled a couple of Falafels from my wife’s order. The only item we wondered about was their Baklava, which tasted buttery. Up until now the only Baklava we remember ever having was honey sweet. Not sure if this was a Zeko variation or something unintended. All in all we were very pleased with our choice of restaurants tonight.

This place was great! As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Corey. He was incredibly hospitable. He gave me a sample of the chop chop which was delicious. The food was very good(the humus(5), kabobs(5) and the gyro(4), but Corey took this restaurant from 3 – 4 to an immediate 5 !

Absolutely great gyros and shrimp. I see people getting other items but we can’t get enough of the Gyro with traditional Greek salad. The salad is always fresh and the potato salad tops it off. Every Time we are in the area the first thing we do is hit Zekos. The people are great and the food will not disappoint.

Way over priced went there on a couple occasions wings got them wet even with the extra sause was dry from sitting under the heat lamp. Went back trying to give them the bennifit of a doubt got a burger & didn’t even eat it all sorry give this place two thumbs down only thing that was good was fries & sweet tea. Be prepared to spend about $ 12& up for a single person meal don’t even want to give them one star. Will not be making anouther stop at this place. Don’t recommend any one eating there.

Zeko’s is the move. Forget the river walk, come here for local good eating!!! Staff was extremely friendly and helpful, food was great. Do not be intimidated by location or seemingly fast food style. Everything we had was fresh and delicious!

What a great find! We love the food here and have been here several times since coming down in December. Everything is so fresh and tasty, and the people are very helpful. I just can’t say enough about how much we enjoy Zeko’s.

I’ve driven by this place a dozen times since it opened and have been curious about this little place. I’m glad I decided to stop by last week. I ordered the Chicken Kabob with the chop chop salad. It was delicious! The chicken was well seasoned and moist. The salad mixed with the jasmine rice was the perfect pairing to the chicken. My only complaint was the over 15 minute wait at the drive thru.

Surprisingly good given the ugly exterior. I would’ve never stopped by if I hadn’t read good reviews on Unilocal.Drive-thru took 15 minutes, which is blasphemy in the world of fast food. Good thing I’m a patient, civilized person *pats himself on the back* Anybody else would’ve thrown a hissy fit. Their hoagies are pretty good.

I absolutely love this place. The gyro and Greek salad were amazing. Hubby said the beef wrap was really good. 13 yr old son loved the wings. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Will definitely be back. Jus wish I would have found it sooner when they had lemon chicken soup. Although I can understand why they don’t offer it anymore.

The inside of Zeko’s looks like a fast food restaurant, so if you are seeking a well decorated sit down place this isn’t the best pick. The booths are oddly high, and have sort of a strange angle to them. Butttttt who cares about all of that? The super cheap falafel, and pita, and hummus are very tasty. We stop here after trips to the South Florida Museum(get a reciprocal NARM membership– totally worth it). I can’t tell you how the burgers are here as we haven’t tried any of the more American items on the menu. Good salads, and sides, and very flavorful Mediterranean fare keep us stopping back here from time to time. The prices also can’t be beat.

Ok so Zeko’s has been hit or miss! I decided to try their cheeseburger today and the burger patty was extremely weird; it wasn’t the fresh in house ground beef that I expected). Actually, it seemed to be a pre-packages frozen patty of some sorts. It wasn’t a horrible burger but I didn’t even eat half(if you can catch what I’m throwing). I’ll stick to the chicken gyros because although my wings were good the 1st time I had time last week they were a flop. So far a the chicken gyros has been most consistent.

This place is Mediterranean. It’s not really American which I must say because my Dad prefers American food and he did not like his hamburger at all. I may never hear the end of it. I enjoyed my falafel though, and my mom thought her chicken wrap was«just OK.» The red velvet cake was pretty good. Also, this the sort of place you order at the front, and then a server brings out food to your table. So it’s more of a quick-service joint then sit-down restaurant. A-ok if you like Mediterranean food. Prices won’t break the bank!

Fast Greek food. Awesome. I had the gyro Greek salad which is the best of both worlds for me. I went in pretty early and service was lightening fast. Fresh veggies with hot gyro. The plating was quite pretty, too. What fast food place uses real dishes?!?

The food at Zeko’s is no joke when it comes to quality for the price. While the menu just skims the surface of the Mediterranean palette, the hummus is some of the best I have had South of the Skyway. Same for the Shawerma. The kabobs are perfectly grilled and just as flavorful as any high-end restaurant. The jasmine rice is event legit, not overcooked. The super fresh, Chop Chop salad is finely chopped mixed tomatoes and cucumbers, I like to get a side of it for only $ 1.99. I really like the Baklava because it is loaded with pistachios. I am still trying to figure out the difference between the Express and Restaurant version of Zeko’s. So far, I can really not tell the difference. There is a drive-thru window, but we did not see it yet in operation. I cannot wait until the drive-thru is an option, since I work around the corner. Since they just opened a few days ago, I won’t hold anything service-wise against them. The food comes out pretty fast for dine-in service, and there is not a tipping space on the credit card receipt. The tables appear to be bussed, since there are no trays or garbage cans around to put your trash.
