We hired Vince to refinish our hardwood flooring and had an agreed to price of $ 2,400.00 of which we gave him $ 1,200.00 cash up front. Time finally arrived for Vince to come in and refinish our flooring and he said he was sick and didn’t have any money and needed another $, 1000 to be able to do our job. You can imagine my reaction to that. Being i knew this low life would never have my original 1200 to give back i had no choice but to give him another $ 600 in check form this time, of course he doesn’t even have a bank account to deposit it in and asked if i could give him cash instead but i held my ground and gave him a check from our E-​trade account. Also an addition to his work he wanted and was very adamant about wanting to lay laminate flooring down in my kitchen area which i was doing but having someone else do, he matched the other price and i agreed. Today he leaves me a message he ran out of money and has no money to by the polyurethane to put down on the floor can i give him the balance of the 2400. I said are you crazy. i gave you 1800 already before you even started, now you have not finished and want more money. So i said do the kitchen floor and i will pay you the $ 400 we agreed on to for that, he says he does not have time he is to busy. I said isn’t laying flooring your job, what you do for a living ?
This guy is a loser, stay away from him before you find yourself in the position we are in, thankfully our tile guy is coming to finish the job where Vince has failed
Vince’s hardwood flooring is a failure as a man and a business STAY AWAY from him and his company you will be much happier in the end.
