I’ve been to a few studios in Sarasota, and I have finally found my home at ThaVma! I’ve been a student here since they opened and I’ve always felt welcomed and encouraged. All of the instructors are uplifting and caring. Whether it is your first time trying bikram, or you’re a pro– I wouldn’t suggest anywhere else. Namaste!

The studio is unsurpassed by any that I’ve ever visited!
The colors the lighting the ambiance is calm, peaceful and inviting.
The instructors are amazing! Mark, Lakyn, Martha, Curt, Melinda and last but certainly not the least Marina. They are encouraging, enlightening souls whose karma’s are just as peaceful as Buddha himself
What a precious gem in the middle of LAKEWOOD RANCH

If you are out of town & trying a Bikram studio or if you live near Bradenton, FL: Thavma yoga studio is THE BEST! I’ve visited many studios over the years and drove from Longboat Key for 7 different classes during my vacation. It was worth every minute. The studio is beautifully and aesthetically designed, clean, and all of the instructors were of the highest caliber.

My first experience with any form of yoga was with Thavma Yoga, and I am so grateful that it was! I have been going here since June of 2014 and my body could not thank me enough! Marina is an amazing and extremely informative teacher! Throughout my Bikram class, she made sure all the students had clear instructions for our posing and reasons as to why or how our body benefitted from each pose or breaking exercise. I am usually one to wonder why for everything, but after my first class, everything was explained.
Also, the studio is new and state of the art, extremely clean, and not odorous at all for being a hot studio where everyone sweats profusely. I have fallen in love with Bikram because of my experience here and I hope this will help give ANYONE that little nudge we need at times to care for our bodies. THANK YOU FOR EXISTING THAVMA YOGA!

This place is a gift from the gods! If you love Bikram yoga the way I do or just looking to try out something new, you will not be sorry! I have practiced at other Bikram studios and I can guarantee you will love the teachers, healthy environment, clean floors and bathrooms. From the moment you walk through the door you are greeted by friendly smiling faces and then it is off to a state of the art practice room… and the showers… WOW! The air quality is amazing, you can breath with ease knowing that the oxygen is clean and fresh, and the teachers are there after class to answer any questions you may have about a pose or maybe just listen to the breakthrough you had in their class. Once you come here you will not want to leave. Hope to see you there!
