This food truck does one thing, from Friday through Sunday, and does it well. Pay $ 4, get a vat of fresh fruit with lime juice. It depends on what’s in season. This weekend we got mango, pineapple, and watermelon. A few months from now the fruit cup probably won’t include mango, nor should it. But whatever it is, the plastic quart container will be full of deliciousness. You can sprinkle on some salt if you like, and there’s also chili powder(salt, cayenne, and maybe other flavors). I declined both offers. After I tasted the chili powder, however, the guy running the truck poured me a pseudo-horchata(I think it might have just been mostly sweetened condensed milk with water) for free as a lagniappe. I think the expression on my face told him I could use a drink to wash that stuff down. The address is an approximation so that you can find it with a navigation app or a GPS. Just look in the parking lot of the former service station on US41 at 30th Avenue. If he’s there, you’re in for a treat.
