Norman’s Liquor & Fine Wines

You can’t beat this place for selection. Prices are average. But again — selection, selection, selection!

Wow this place is beyond packed with selection. The wine room in the back made my eyes pop out of my head. I was shocked at the prices were very very good and sometimes much cheaper than your superstore.
Clerk at the front was very helpful and helped me with a new wine similar to my usual favorite.

We drive a little further than necessary to go to Norman’s. Great selection, prices and owner.

Norman’s is a great place of find some very good things. The wine selection is great. There are many interesting treasures in the climate controlled storage room as well as an vast selection stored up front. They do offer case discounts and I’ve been very pleased when I’ve ordered things through norman’s. Prompt service on orders and 10% off on cases of wine.
A wide selection of spirits is also to be had. Anything from college level rot cut to some very fine and tasty rums, vodkas, and other things. There is also a great selection of micro brew beer, which was what first attracted me to their store. Not so many west coast micro brews (i’m begging for some Deschutes brewery things, but it never happens) but some really good beers from the east cost as well as Europe. And I mean things other than the national brands here!
A big bonus is the tastings they have most saturdays. I’ve gotten to try some very interesting sprits, wines and beers by coming in on saturday afternoons that I would never have tried otherwise. And many I’ve bought! So I guess I’m just a pawn to their savvy marketing ways.
They also have a cigar room, but the only think I know about cigars is that the ones I smoked with college buddies playing cards many years ago sucked. so someone else will have to review them on this matter.
