Darn good down to earth Dr who spend time with you. This guy truly cares and listens! Not in a rush like many other Drs seem to be.

Dr. Bentze prescribed me an expensive drug. After 2 years of paying this expensive monthly prescription (70/​MO), I found out from my wife’s doctor there is a cheaper medicine at $ 10/​mo that does the same thing! Needless to say, I will not be returning to Dr. Bentze ever again.

I went to Dr. Bentze based on the reviews here. He was very pleasant and seemed to listen attentively and he seemed to be interested in finding a solution to my problem. The staff at the office were all pleasant and accommodating.
Dr. Bentze ordered blood tests and assured me we would get to the bottom of my problems. When the results of the blood tests came (well it took me 8 phone calls and two weeks to get them…) and nothing acute was found I was simply dismissed and my problems were, by the nurse and over the phone, blamed on depression. There was no follow up, no attempt at finding the root of the problem and no more understanding nods from the doc.
So, Dr. Bentze is in my opinion not much of a doctor. If a blood test doesn’t give the answer to a patients problems, follow up. Perhaps another test, perhaps a physical (Br. Bentze did not even listen to my heart) Do your job. And at least call the patient yourself to discuss options. Do not make the patient track down their own results and finally have them delivered by a completely disinterested nurse.
I was so happy leaving Dr. Bentze, I thought I had found a doctor that actually cared. But alas, no. I am so very disappointed.

Dr. Bentze is a fantastic family physician. He has been my doctor for four years and has continued to provide me with superior care, despite all the complications of my condition. I particularly appreciate the way he listens to me, respects my opinions, and helps me navigate the complexities of the medical system. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone who needs an attentive, caring, personable, intelligent physician.
