Very reasonable clinic services to get dog and cat vaccinations and flea meds. I took my dog there and the price was much less than my vet or what I experienced at one of those mobile vet places that visit local shopping strips on the weekends. They are also involved with a free spay/​neuter program in conjunction with Manatee County for feral cats (contact the organizations involved to learn more, as these programs for free spays/​neuters are often contingent on grant funding and may not always be available). This week I have brought in two feral cats to be spayed/​neutered (one girl cat, one boy cat).
I really appreciate this service and commitment to the community to help stem the flow of too many cats and kittens ending up at our local shelters. Manatee County is trying very hard to be a ‘no kill’ county, but they need every citizen to step up to the plate and help, too. If you would like to help, you can borrow humane traps ($ 50 refundable deposit) to do TNR (trap/​neuter/​release) in your neighborhood. Gulf Shore Animal League is also involved with helping citizens get community cats/​ferals fixed so you might also wish to contact them or look at the Manatee County Humane Society webpage for more info.
