Great Burger joint, love the cheese curds and shakes I will be back to try other stuff!

Overpriced! Food was not as good as I was hoping it would be… their fries are terrible!!! They are skinny and greasy, not my taste!

I ordered a butter burger. It was overcooked. The meat also had a taste of old grease to it. This was the first time I have been here, I won’t be back. Service was a bit slow but employees were polite and courteous.

Only reason they get 3 stars is because the food was good. The girl at the drive thru was very rude. I had never been to a Culver’s so i had questions on the menu.
The girl was less than helpful. She was very sarcastic and the drive thru was a cluster… They had people moving forward to deal with others and not very well organized.

Today was the worst experience I’ve had at this location. Usually a good 4 star experience but not today. Went in at 10:30 just to grab a cup of their usually good coffee. But not today. It was barely warmed leftover coffee. Bitter and not drinkable and this after them being only open 30 minutes.
Update. Went in today and was comp’d my coffee from the bad one I got Tuesday

Best oreo mixers ever. They also have good burgers. My favorite is the swiss and mushroom. Their onion rings are also good. There is a bit of a wait usually, however and they are expensive for fast food.

Burgers are good however very greasy and the fries are horrible. Service wasn’t to bad and we waited maybe 10 minutes to get our food but again the burgers are very greasy and the fries are horrible. Other than that that their a ok burger joint

I liked it. The double Butter burger with cheese $ 3 seems like a deal to me. As good as Five Guys for less $.

Great place to eat. Clean great service. Management is Top of the line. Always going the extra mile for the customer. If you like good burgers. This is the spot. SPECIAL THANKS TO Mgr Jordan!

We ordered two Double Deluxe Burgers. Wait was slower than typical fast-​food burger joints but it is because they are not cooked until you order.
On the very short ride home, we noticed that we did not smell the burgers. Typically, the smell of the food you have ordered, will fill the car with good smells but these burgers could not be detected. That was odd.
Once home, & the bag was opened, they did have a good smell. The size was good but is definitely overpriced, I would have been very pissed about that, except we did have a coupon, which brought it down to what price it should be.
During eating & afterwards, all we could taste was the onion. We are onion fans but these onions were over the top with taste. It was like eating an onion sandwich.
Would only go back with a coupon and would definitely tell them to hold the onion!

To say that one’s culinary options in Bradenton are limited after 10pm is an understatement. Unless you’re willing to subject yourself to WackArnold’s or the Taco Hell drive through, options are rather limited. Thankfully, Culver’s emerges like a beacon in the night to save you from your hungry doldrums!
For the uninitiated: Culver’s is a fast food joint with Midwestern roots (Wisconsin, to be exact) that prides itself on using fresh, quality ingredients, produced right here in the good ol’ U-​S-​of-​A. No processed fries that will live in your gut til next decade, no pink slime meat, or creepy soft serve that somehow became nuggets. All the burgers are grilled to order, and if you’re dining in, they’ll be delivered to your table just as soon as they’re ready. Oh, and the menu is expansive. Not in a burger mood? How about a plate of pot roast, accompanied by green beans, mash n’ gravy? They can do that. And the custard! Oh, the custard… but I’m getting ahead of myself.
The Mister, his cousin (the local) and I got to Culver’s right around 10pm after an evening at an event in Tampa. Truly, this place was our saving grace, as we had missed dinner and (as alluded to earlier) had no other quality options. We each ordered burgers (I did the Culver Deluxe) and sides — they went with the crinkle fries, and I with the cheese curds.
We took our seats, and our meals were up in minutes, hot and fresh. While I am a fan of a thick, rare burger all day, Culver’s builds a strong case for the opposite — their patties are thin, yet not at all dry, with crisp edges. They balance nicely with the soft, lightly buttered buns, REAL Wisconsin cheese, and fresh, crunchy veggies. The cheese curds were an interesting departure from the typical side — crunchy exterior, gooey, cheesy interior… And again, REAL cheese — not day-​glo orange chemical crap.
We all were full… but could not stand the temptation of their custard, which is made fresh daily, in small batches. While they did still have their «Flavor of the Day» (Orange Creamsicle), we kept it simple — chocolate shake, small vanilla concrete with Heath, and a one scoop caramel cashew sundae. I will let the fact that we all consumed every last bit do the talking for me. SO good.
I’m capping this review at four stars, mostly so I have a reason to go back and try other stuff.
TL;DR — Try this place instead of the other, processed options. Seriously. McDonald’s is the devil.

I will be craving this butterburger until next time! Ice cream and chili were also the best I’ve ever had! Very friendly staff. Open late! Dairy Queen and Steak n Shake had a baby on steroids!

We went to Culvers for the first time last night. We were very disappointed in the quality of the food. The beef was paper thin and had no flavor, the bun was not fresh, the red onions were past their edible prime. I would rather buy a $ 1 burger at McDonalds or Burger King than an overpriced $ 3 burger at Culvers. You get more meat and more flavor at the other 2 fast food restaurants. The fries are the crinkle cut type that taste just like the ones in the frozen food section from the grocery store. The malts are good as long as you don’t mind chunks of powder. Way overpriced and poor quality food. For the same price you can go to Applebee’s or similar and get a good meal.

One million times better then steak and shake. the people are friendly and always smile! The one thing you do not get at Steak ‘n Shake. The food is very good, especially the cod sandwich in my honest opinion. The fries are awesome and the cheese curds are also awesome! A+

Please train your cashiers. Went to two different Culver’s and they don’t get our orders right nor do they provide us the correct info, cause they don’t know their own menu!!! Disappointed again

my friend is from Wisconsin and insisted we try this place while on a trip that brought us nearby. the food was good, the place was clean and i cant think of anything bad to say about the experience!

Everyone raves about Culver’s, but it’s about the equivalent to Steak and Shake. The best part had to be when the guy at the window gave us our card and receipt back, closed the window, then hopped on the counter top to talk to his coworker.

Wow! This is my new favorite burger place! Food tastes fresh and perfectly cooked! I can tell the difference between other fast food restaurants and Culver’s. Tried frozen custard for the first time and I’m hooked! Place is clean and staff are friendly.

Let me begin by thanking Jimmy, the owner for his gracious offer for dinner. My son & I stopped in after a long day of work/​summer camp to pick up take out. Though Jimmy wasn’t at the location, his staff was stellar in his absense!
Jeremy, was extremely pleasant and the entire staff, from my cashier, to food preparation, to the nice older gentleman in the lobby were super friendly, helpful, and did an amazing job. The place was packed, it was dinner rush… about 6 pm and the lobby, soda & condiment station, & bathrooms were spotess!
We received our food within 10 mins of ordering, it smelled so amazing we had to taste before leaving! Their chocolate milkshakes were amazing, their fries and onion rings were perfect, and even though we saved our sandwiches until we got home and kept them warm in the oven, the mushroom swiss ButterBurger and beef pot roast sandwiches were both excellent! I highly recommend that you stop by Culver’s on Cortez Road, you will not regret it!

Even on their first day of the soft opening great service and the same great Butterburger!
