Club Bamboo Resorts

This was one of the best experiences I’ve had in booking hotels. The price was very reasonable and the room exceeded my expectations. It was extremely clean and well kept. The view from the room was great and the pool area was very nice as well. Beach access was also great, and the water was crystal clear. The only drawback were the two twin pullout beds… I wouldn’t really count on them as they were a bit uncomfortable as you would expect from pullout beds. The King bed however, was very comfortable.

Club Bamboo was definitely one of the easiest hotel experiences that I’ve ever had.
CB is right on Gulf Dr., with one building on the ocean side and the other across the street. While in town for my brother’s wedding, I booked at CB as it was about $ 50+ cheaper per night than competing rates at area hotels.
My room did not disappoint; it was large, had a kitchenette, refrigerator, etc., all without having asked. The walk across the street to the beach was nothing, and it was close to some of the local grocery stores, restaurants and bars.
Of interest: I’ve never had a more casual check in/​check out experience. The man behind the desk just gave me a key and said enjoy, without mentioning a) check out time or b) what room I was in. Certainly nice after having stayed in too many «mega» hotels.
