Really like this spot. It helps they’re playing Bön Iver… set my whole mood right. Got the tipus chai, I asked for the spicier one. It’s got nice spice and sweetness. I was drooling over the local jewelry. If I wasn’t broke I would buy! Lots of seating. Great place to read/study.

I came in yesterday(in a bit of a hurry) for a mocha. The service was great and I was in and out in under two minutes. Plus the coffee is ALWAYS amazing. The baristas know what they are doing! I’m so glad Bozeman has this place.

Zocalo is my favorite coffee shop in Bozeman. I’d much rather go here than Wild Joe’s. Here’s why. Coffee is consistently top notch. When I want really good coffee, I come here for that. Staff are more chill and friendly. It’s a lot simpler coffee shop and I respect that. Meaning I know this is an independent coffee shop that doesn’t get big on their ego. It never tries to be «cool» and be more than it really is. Cool interior that gives an industrial vibe. The loft is my hangout space for doing work. The local art here is always interesting and the music selection is great– think of indie and hipster. Yes, I consider this to be the indie, hipster, but with a mix of older adults coffee shop. It’s never too overwhelm and that’s my problem with several coffee shops. They also have beer on tap and wine. The selection is superb. I wish more people knew about this coffee shop, or maybe that’s why I love this place even more. They also have an interesting program for college students traveling abroad called Zocalo Abroad, but don’t know much about it. Just another cool thing about this place.

I have started to come here instead of the other shops I frequented. Good music and good coffee. I was very impressed at the number of customers the baristas knew by name.

My dog and I are greeted by name, coffee is always delicious and employees have great suggestions. Staff are always friendly and I have never heard them be rude. The coffee is delicious and the atmosphere is excellent for small chat, homework or relaxing. See you later today!

Bullet point review: –Feel good, quality music; could stand to be a little softer –Lots of high quality photos on the wall is a nice change from the more art driven –There are some artsy photos but they’re less prominent –Plants hanging on the stairwell have vines growing down –While some coffee shops have a hipster vibe, this place just feels like a local place; not the expensive set ups and alternative driven –Pretty large space with love seats and an upstairs –I’ve become a bit spoiled from iced lattes with milk foam on top, but this is probably my favorite latte without the foam; excellent taste of espresso and flavoring –A problem with a lot flavored lattes is they sugar it up too much; this place blends it together well –I’m going to give credit to the bistro; he seemed like a cool guy too –Talking about Rick and Morty gives extra cool points –It was pricey, $ 5.25 for a large iced latte with a flavor shot –Triple berry scone was great; not heavily sugared with berries baked on top –Great place!

Best coffee shop in downtown Bozeman by far! I’ve been coming since their opening a few years back and it only get’s better every year. The coffee is on point and always consistent, atmosphere is cozy and great for meetings and the service is always top notch. If you’re downtown and looking for a perk, Zocalo Coffee will not disappoint.

Yes, it’s so hipster, it could pass for your run-of-the-mill Williamsburg hang out spot but dang they make stellar chai lattes! This Bozeman locale is a must if you need a quick pick-me up. We came here after a full day of fly-fishing, looking for a snack and caffeine. Unfortunately the 4pm baked goods selection was lacking(hence the 4 stars), but luckily the full-fat lattes were just what we needed to tide us over. We actually nearly missed the place, it was so small. Though unassuming form the outside, the space has a lot of depth and an upstairs loft area. I could see it being a nice, quiet place to work on a paper or finish off reading.

If you want a nice coffee shop, this is the place. It’s spacious, the coffee is fresh, the music is nice and there’s always local art on the walls. Zocalo is definitely a community meeting place. Need something to read, there’s also a community bookshelf. I love this place!!! I stop by at least 4 times a week.

Pretty good hot cocoa and Carmel vanilla latte! Quick and friendly service! They have a lot of options of flavors and how to prepare your coffee! It’s always good service when they consider that the hot cocoa is for my son and not prepare it blazing hot for him, it made his day! Thank you

Walked in the door greeted by the f word and another swear word from the staff. Got a muffin and a chai tea. My chai was not dissolved and was powdery– gross. The muffin was good– but I wasn’t offered silverware or a napkin or pointed in the direction of them. The gal taking my money was more interested talking to the other barista than to me. For $ 8.75, I’m happy to take my business elsewhere. Won’t be back.

Excellent coffee, cheerful people, and they recycle nearly 80% of the waste they generate. That is commendable. A business like this deserves recognition above and beyond regular recognition. The furniture is fairly comfortable. Not gonna lie it could use improvement but it’s not the worst in town for sure. I like there coffee mugs to drink out of when you stay there. After all most of my coffee drinking is done in-house so to speak. Their music is delightful. Some sort of ecletice Asian and eastern and Indian of remakes of our songs and their songs and just a wonderful mix of new music. I like new music. Unless it is dub step. That can just die already. I may have found a new coffee spit after all!

Tried 3 coffee shops on Main St. in Bozeman. All were good but Zocalo fared the best. My husband is a coffee snob and favors Lladro in Seattle. As always, we loved our time in Bozeman.

So far my favorite coffee shop on Main Street. Great coffee. Lots of cushy chairs and sofas. AND a fantastic loft overlooking the shop, with more work tables and sofas.

Nice little coffee shop. The menu is delightfully simple, without an overabundance of choco-mocha-frappa-somethings. Just coffee and some pastries from local bakeries. Perfection. If they did pour-over coffee… I’d be soooo happy.

Great little coffee shop! Last passed it by, had to convince my best friend and Bozeman native to try something new. Glad we did! The co-owner was working the front desk, he was super friendly! He was able to make a skinny vanilla latte for me, whoop! Thanks! We also got free stickers! I’ll be rocking them in San Diego! Can’t wait to come back when you guys have your liquor license.

Amongst the variety of coffee houses in Bozeman, I went to Zocalo, and if I’m going to be honest, it’s because they had a balcony you could sit at and work while looking down at the comers and goers. It’s a young vibe – mostly college student workers with great energy and a nice selection of indie-esc music that’s not played too loud. I ordered the chai latte. Great choice. It’s frothy and milkety thick with a nice cinnamon spice to compliment. It was just what I needed to warm up on a cold winter day. The chairs up on the balcony that overlook the shop are cozy rolling office chairs. There are ample outlets for laptops and good lighting.
