Gallatin Valley Furniture Carpet One

They did my bedroom carpet so beautifully. And now I’m looking to redo the rest of the flooring in my house as well as some major upgrades as I just purchased the condo 2 years ago. And since I come from a city where I’m used to a decorator coming out and giving you ideas that fit with your layout and things you don’t want to change as opposed to hiring designers that just do it themselves (which is really for another class of people) or paying for their work up front. I need to get used to going to a store after store and being my own designer despite the massive time and effort it takes looking at the huge amount of these many all in one type stores in Bozeman as the singular stores just don’t have the selections and you can’t then compare everything from color and style matching from the largest items of pain and flooring to chandeliers and fixtures that have been here since these condos/​townhouses were built from 1981 – 1983. But this store has one of the widest selections of all of the things you need to see b together to match I’ve seen in Bozeman. Besides that the woman I worked with last year in the carpet department had 20 years of previous experience working in their own smaller town carpet business in the south and I felt very comfortable with their incredibly detailed knowledge and array of choices and availability to order my very specific needs of carpet color as i was very particular in my master bedroom of paint and carpet matching which was HARD to do with my particular hmm sort of periwinkle/​grey/​blue/​lavander! Despite my extreme time consuming specifics I think she spend a total of at least 8 hours with me alone looking through the store then ordering more samples she thought would fit better when she saw my paint and I also wanted high quality spill resistant and it does what the warranty says and even colored drink spills wipe up easily with a little resolve for 20 years guaranteed and I got the thickest carpet pad so I feel like I’m walking on air since it’s the only room that will be carpeted which happens to also be the pet protection pad so any mistakes can’t get through the carpet into the pad where they can’t be washed out.
Simply I just hadn’t worked with a kinder and more patient and just warm and good person (no feeling of selling to just get you done with expensive stuff fir them to make $). She worked harder to find what has now proven to make me happier and happier over this last year of ownership. I just wish I could recognize her personally here, but all I can remember is a gentle southern accent possibly from Georgia and that her husband worked with her doing the measuring and I think installing and figuring out how to handle the difficult oddly shaped master bed which has a long hall of closets and sinks outside the bathroom but they worked out the tech problems with covering the closet bottoms and didn’t charge extra!
Needless to say esp since they were willing to come to me with samples and offer suggestions for free because this place was lierally decorated all in yellow (walls, carpets, kitchen, all wallpapers everywhere) by an 80 year old woman who lived here and had it redecorated that way when she purchased the unit when they were finished like I said in the early 80s and left it that way till she passed and her son sold it on, I just need a lot of help changing the things that will make all the difference without having the money to tear down the wall paper in every room and pull up all the yellow rug to put down some kind of the amazing new wood veneer floorings.
But I certainly can’t hire a interior decorator alone the way they do it out here which I’m told gives no free ideas about helping just to match certain old pieces with new to help know what you can spend money on to have the most effect.
