Tilia Tree Birthing

I decided before getting pregnant that I had to have a doula. I found Lindsey through a friend. She was beyond amazing. So caring and passionate about her work. The birthing experience would not have been as great if she hadn’t been there. Not only was she there for me, but also my husband. Gave him tips to help me with the pain. Never once did she make me feel bad or weak for getting an epidural. She is there to help you, not judge you. Most people think they can only have a doula if they are having a medicine free birth at home, but that’s not what she or most doulas now a days are about. She is amazing!
She is not just physically involved in your pregnancy/​delivery, she is emotionally involved. She always answered any questions I’ve had throughout pregnancy. No matter how crazy the question was. She answered all my questions through delivery. She made me feel at ease with my decisions during labor and delivery. If I felt rushed or confused. She made sure I was able to have a minute to decide for myself without pressure from anyone. Right after my daughter was born, I was looking back at the photos that she and my husband had captured. I started to cry from the overwhelming emotion of joy that had just happened. She saw and started to cry from my joy. This isn’t her job, but her life. She was born to be a doula. To be there for others during their most exciting/​overwhelming/​joyous day of their lives. She will definitely be there for all my future deliveries.

My husband and I weren’t sure if we really needed a doula. I had heard of them and wasn’t planning a home birth so I thought all I needed was my husband and parents for support. I decided to check out Tilia Tree Birthing after hearing positive experiences from friends and looking back I can’t imagine going through it without Tilia Tree Birthing.
Lindsey helped me every step of the way, we learned more from her then all of the baby/​birth/​pregnancy classes we went to. She was there for me during labor, and took care of us after my emergency c section. Not just physically but emotionally helped us through the most incredible, scary, wonderful, crazy, thing either of us had ever been through. I’m so incredibly happy we had her by our side. I highly recommend her to anyone who is pregnant. If you are giving birth no matter how or when — you need Tilia Tree Birthing.
