Solid sushi spot in east boynton. Haven’t tried much of the menu. But the sushi is fresh, creative and delicious.

Excellent Thai food in an unlikely location. We stopped in for a Saturday noon lunch and had the place to ourselves so service was lovely. My friend had the Thai Golden Cashew with chicken and I had the Red Curry with chicken. Our server asked us to specify our desired spiciness from 1 to 5, my pal chose a one. I like spicy but chose to err on the safe side and chose two. Both of us thought we had chosen well. Two was plenty spicy for me. Portion size was perfect and the food was excellent. Presentation was lovely — there was an orchid on my friend’s plate and mine had a cute carrot butterfly. Check was less than $ 20 not including the tip — good value for such great food. We’ll be back. ..

Very friendly staff, beautiful restaurant and an overall good experience. I think I would rather take the drive to WPB and get the best Thai from Oriental Food Market! They didn’t have whole fish available so I let the waiter choose for me. It was tasty and slightly overdone but not hammered, the spring rolls are filled with only cabbage so PASS on those! I would give it another try, maybe for lunch :)

We have seen this restaurant several times when eating sushi next door. We finally tried it tonight and we were very pleased with our entrees! My husband ordered the crispy duck and I enjoyed the spicy basil fish. Both dishes came with fresh veggies, delicious sauces, and choice of rice. Our food was delicious! We will definitely eat here again soon. Service was good.

I came here with my ex boyfriend on christmas we were hungry after going to parties all day and figured why not… The décor seems outdated the clientele seemed like they came out of a nursing home… The service wasn’t that good… And the food was just awful I have never had a thai meal that was this bad ever… I will def not be going back…

Very happy camper. This place was recommended to be by a friend. Took my wife there for Valentine’s Day and it was a good choice. We were easily able to make a reservation. The host was very pleasant on the phone and equally so when we arrived. We were seated quickly and offered drink menus immediately. Drinks were well prepared and generous. Staff, ALL staff, were friendly and pleasant. The menu was extensive and … unlike many Thai restaurants that are run by Chinese or Japanese owners and chefs, these folks are actually from Thailand and their food is the real deal. Prices are reasonable for the quality. Portion sizes were good and the food arrived hot and nicely presented. I had the Pad Thai with chicken and it was great. My wife had the sea bass and it was superior. Very good experience, will be back again. It’s now our favorite local Thai place. REAL Thai!

Google says this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Boynton, correct as usual. Situated right between sushi and Italian restaurants with a name that makes you want to write it off. We started with Tom Kha coconut soup which was delicious, along with a simple salad with ginger dressing. For dinner we had lettuce wraps and green curry chicken, ahhh the flavors were perfect. The curry was a tad spicy and that was the lowest it came. The service was a little slow to refill but very nice. The place is nicely decorated and the booths are big enough for 2−4−6. Great choice!

This is the best Thai food I’ve ever had! You must try the Pad See Ew. I can’t not order it every time! And the people here are very nice. It’s not cheap in the evening but you can always try the same items on the lunch menu for a much more reasonable price and then decide if you want return for the special dinner/date. You will. :)

I really loved the food in this place, reasonable prices too, full bar, and good wine list. Do not miss the Ginger Salmon and the Volcano Shrimp.

Rice sits unceremoniously in a shopping center off Woolbright and Federal. It’s non descript location is the only thing that isn’t a great big WOW! Every dish I have eaten or seen presented to my dining campaigns is visually stunning. Great presentations. Service is very attentive. The Pad Thai and the Curry are both phenomenal. I agree with Rachel M… this is the best Thai food I’ve ever eaten. The coconut rice — shut the front door… it’s so good! Go…go now… Yes, it’s just that worthy of a visit.

We stopped by here on Christmas Eve and got right in and picked a nice seat outside. Good service. I ordered the shrimp Pad Thai & my husband(who prefers steak & pot) even found something he liked. Our food was delicious and we are glad we found Rice Fine Thai.

Horrible service. Food not worth the price. I asked the waiter to let the chef know my daughter has peanut allergies and he seemed annoyed. After we ordered, I reminded him about the allergies and he rolled his eyes and ignored me. I stayed just to give the food a chance. I waited for dinner to come for 30 mins, and my waiter never came around to ask if I wanted more water or anything. I ordered the royal duck and, it was not worth the $ 22(with fried rice). I apologized to my wife and told her we’re not going back.

My girlfriend and I went to Rice for dinner last night on a Thai craving and a whim. Our server greeted us right away and was very patient as we chatted away and ignored the menu. When we finally ordered, I was having Pad Thai(a staple favorite) and my girlfriend had Pad Sew Ew(her staple favorite.) Our entrees came with salads that while seemed somewhat sparse in ingredients had a nice, light and sweet dressing. As for dinner, to be honest I was mostly underwhelmed. My pad thai was on the dry side at best. I mostly paddled around in the noodles as the couple pieces of chicken that I tried were very dry and quite poorly cooked. The peanuts were piled in a corner on the side of the plate instead of garnished on top and there was hardly any sauce. My girlfriend ate about half of hers and didn’t comment whether she liked it or not, but from looking at it it appeared somewhat dry to me. It wasn’t the worst Thai I’ve ever had, but I don’t think I’ll be back anytime soon.

The food leaves a lot to be desired! Staff was decent. Overly priced for the level of food you get. The décor looks nice … But I experienced nothing more then a dolled up tourist trap.

My boyfriend and I love Thai food and found Rice while searching on Google. We are always looking to try new restaurants but at the same time are skeptical. We walked into Rice and there were only 2 tables eating which raised some suspicion considering the surrounding restaurants were packed. We ordered our usual appetizers, miso soup for me, and a salad for my boyfriend. Both were good. We shared to main courses. Pad Thai(medium spicy) and Spicy Basil with chicken(this is a dinner plate). We were blown away with the quality of these dishes. The level of spice was perfect, the flavors were rich, and the food tasted completely authentic. We were very surprised the restaurant was not full of patrons. We will definitely come back and we suggest you give it a try!

I was not expecting much from Rice because it’s located in a random shopping center but I was pleasantly surprised. The server was very friendly and the food was fantastic. I had the Pad Thai and I sampled some of my family’s meals and they were all very very good. Nicely priced, too.

I really want to like this restaurant more, but I can’t. See, it seems in this side of town thai places stay away from being authentic given the patrons that come here, so the food is bland, not spicy at all. Have you ever had green chicken curry and no spice? I had to dump half of the crushed red pepper container in it and nada. They had a whole fried fish which sounded great but I’d rather try it somewhere else where I know what I will get is authentic food. The food is not horrible, but it’s bland. Service was friendly, but choppy.

I’m sure if you’re a regular the experience would be nice Unfortunately I did not even get the opportunity to even sit down to eat. I went in and stood in front of the reception area where the hostess was not acknowledging me, which is absolutely fine I understand, but to tell me flat out«I don’t think you would be able to eat here» I assume because they were having a busy night? Not sure… Empty tables were right in front of me but that’s that for customer service. Walked out and went to pei Wei… Lol

I absolutely love the food, the staff, the ambience and the value. My family has been coming here for the last few years and we have celebrated birthday parties and anniversaries there, too. They can easily accommodate large parties. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options, which is great for us. FYI If you pay in cash, they give a discount.

The restaurant is very pretty with pretty fans and decorations hanging from the high ceiling. And oddly enough, there’s a disco ball too. I’ve been meaning to try this place for a long time and judging by the reviews, it sounded promising. I ordered a Thai iced tea and a fried fish fillet with red curry on top. The portion size was good but it was way too salty and the fish was overcooked. Don’t get me wrong, I like the crispy edges but it was like jerky. I was starving and ate the whole thing which made me ridiculously thirsty all night. The dish my friend ordered was ok. Nothing special. I will give them another try and order traditional Thai food to compare to my other favorite Thai restaurants.

Came here for dinner with some friends — the food was good(not the best Thai food I’ve ever had, but def the best in Boynton Beach I think!). We had the combo appetizer, the green curry w tofu, the red & the golden curries with shrimp, pad see ew with beef, and pad Thai(vegetarian). I think the red curry was the best of all. The banana desserts were amazing — highly recommend. The décor is nice, and also they have 10% off for paying cash(a special deal on that night I think). The service is kind of slow, and they add an 18% gratuity to parties of 5 or more. I would go here again for certain dishes, but not as a regular spot.

Anyone who reads my reviews knows that I am fair, and I reserve five star reviews for places that provide a truly exceptional experience — the best of the best experiences in their particular genre. Rice is a casual Thai food restaurant in Boynton Beach, and after a lot of thought Rice gets a coveted five star review. Why? The total experience. Now Rice is not over the top like some of my other five star recipients — Joel Rubichon, for instance. Rice is quietly, subtly outstanding, though, totally worthy of such accolades. The restaurant. Rice is located in a modest shopping center. Entering through the two story glass-paned exterior you’ll find an open, multi-level seating area with booths and a nice bar area off to the left. Lighting is soft and trendy, and long, slender, and colorful wall hangings attractively adorn the white walls. Tables are attractively set, covered in white table cloths with black cloth napkins. Cheap wine glasses oddly miss the mark, seemingly out of place with the attention to detail found elsewhere in the house. The service. Service is attentive and helpful. Again, not over the top, but just right. The food. Very good. The red curry is sublime. A truly exceptional dish. Plating is beautiful. Fresh flowers. Butterflies. Artistic flair coupled with wonderful flavors found in the finest of restaurants. Nice job, chef. The experience at Rice was remarkably special for a truly casual restaurant. It exceeds expectations on nearly every level. Welcome Rice to my exclusive 5-star club.
