Regis Salon

We’ve been looking for a competent hair colorist in the Palm Beaches for a long time. There are plenty in Washington — among others, at Saks, even in the salon in our building in Bethesda, MD. But here, we’re having a terrible time finding someone just competent to color hair. They leave light roots on white hair, they use two different colors on one head, they don’t know how long to leave the dye or what dye to use to match the color, and they don’t seem to know what a good job looks like.
We’ve tried several places, including Regis at Boynton and Salon Cielo on PGA. The first seemed overconfident to the point of psychosis (probably just wanted the money) and did a terrible job. The roots were shades and shades lighter than the hair, even after three exhausting tries. The other also was bad. For color, I strongly advise people not to go to either of these places.
Does anyone know a competent colorist around the Palm Beaches. We pay as much as at Saks in Maryland, a more expensive area with better colorists, but we get Hair Cuttery quality service here.

I wanted to get my hair dyed and highlighted before my high school reunion and I got a coupon in the mail after we moved for half off selected services. I figured I give Regis a shot since a good friend of mine goes to the one in Wellington to get hers done there and raves about it all the time. The salon is very nice and clean. My stylist was cool. I decided not to get my hair dyed, but with highlights instead. I didn’t want to go back in every 6 weeks to upkeep the copper dye and the highlights won’t come out like the dye will. I have dark brown hair, so Lisa (the stylist) recommended I do the golden brown highlights. She was very attentive to my hair. After being there for 2 hours and magazined out, I walked out there feeling like a new head was placed on me. Long layers just past my shoulders is just the way I like it. Plus, you can get a bite to eat or get some shopping done before or after you leave here since you are right in the middle of the Boynton Beach Mall. So, what are you waiting for? Go get beautified! :)

I just got the best hair cut I’ve had in years! I love, love, love it. I read the other two reviews and thought «oh, just give it a shot» and I am sooooooo glad I did. Meredith is an artist, my hair looks like I spent a fortune on the cut and it was quite inexpensive. I really can’t get over how great it looks, I will never go to another stylist as long as Meredith is around.
