Customer Service goes a loooonnnnggg way. I know you’re busy. I know its stressful. I know you probably don’t want to be here but you are. Having needed a drug screening sample for a new job opportunity, I was pre-registered by the company to have the sample taken at that location. Had no clue they had a location out there so I learned something new. I entered as a walk-in nearing the time frame to complete said sample. There were approximately 8 patients in front of me. I wait. One of the older clients walks up to the window to complete paperwork and the rep makes a joke. he being hard of hearing, misses the joke and can’t understand why everyone is laughing. The patient rep dismisses his questions and just says never mind. He walked away confused. I like a joke like the next person but professionalism is of utmost importance especially in this line of work. So I finally get called 40 mins later(not too bad for a walk in) and the rep who assisted me was in the worst mood ever. Me: How are you today? Rep: Please put your belongings in the lock box. Me. ohhkay… Anywho, I get done and ask for the id number as directed in the email. Me: Could you please provide me with the id number? Rep: Um, ma’am that info is not shared anymore Me: okay, the email I received says… Rep: well your email is wrong Me:(blank stare) Rep: Ugh, fine! Here…(hands me id number) Me: Thank you have a great day! This can not be acceptable customer service for the health industry. Please do better.

This review is for the Quest lab at Good Sam in wpb, which for some unknown reason Unilocal doesn’t list. I’ve been there three times; the staff was always competent and cordial, but the first two times I was kept waiting a full hour even though I had an appointment. It wouldn’t have been so bad if the waiting room had been quiet, but an obnoxious boob tube was blaring. I thought nothing could be worse than Faux News Channel, but both times CNN was droning on and on with mere speculation, and not an iota of news, about that damn Malaysian jetliner. Unbearable! Today I had my third visit. I wised up and made a morning rather than afternoon appt. That awful idiot box was still blaring away, but I had to wait«only» 10 or 15 minutes. All businesses including restaurants and offices should stop forcing their damn TVs on us!

Very worrisome first impression. My appointment felt rushed, staff was terribly inattentive at best, unable to understand their own equipment at worst. Basic, obvious details like my height were mangled on my form. We’re talking off by a foot, which, in my mind, immediately calls into question the accuracy of my blood work. If you can’t read a scale or height chart, I don’t want you interpreting my blood results. On the plus side, my appointment time was entirely on schedule, which is generally impossible.
