Dr Schulman and his staff were wonderful. The practice is professional and clean. I hope I will never need their services, but ever I do; I will go back knowing they did right by me.
I was told by the first dentist that I needed a cleaning, a root canal and crown on a tooth that was not bothering me but is mostly silver from fillings. He wanted to do the work but he was a general dentist and I’ve had two bad experiences with roots cracking so I prefer an endodontist. Since the tooth wasn’t bothering me and the cleanliness of the office was questionable; I went somewhere else for the cleaning. The 2^nd general dentist also said I needed a root canal and crown, but fortunately for me he didn’t do root canals and refered me to an endodontist for a free consult. That endodontist does not honor my insurance so I chose not to schedule the consult.
I selected Dr Schulman from the insurance website’s list of providers and went there instead. What a pleasant surprise to hear that I don’t need a root canal. True the other endodontist offered a free consultation, but he may have given me an unnesesary root canal.
Dr Schulman conducted a thorough evaluation and explained to me how he came to his conclusion. I could not thank him and his assistant Veronica enough.
P. S. I’d also like to commend Diane who when I called to set my appointment had the foresight to advise me what medications not to take prior to the appointment.
