Boynton Cinema Show Line

There’s nothing special about this place but it is small and cheap. If you want to catch a movie and just want it to be on the big screen this is the place. If you are looking for the full movie high Def surround sound boom. You might want to skip on this place

I like this movie theater. It’s small, it’s old and it’s cheap. You walk in, watch a movie and walk out. Nothing fancy. I never have a problem here with long lines and the service is good.

I see a fee people complaining the movie theater is old. I am not really sure what they were expecting. This is just a simple movie theater. It’s not a Cinemark or Movico and should not be compared to such. If you are just looking to see a movie that is not full of special effects its a good enough place to go. Th theater was clean. I thought it was fine. Another great thing is they often run ‘Groupon Nows’ which are groupons you can purchase and use that same day.

It’s a movie theater for crying out loud. I found it clean and well run.
The movies may suck, but that’s hardly the theaters fault.

Boynton Cinema aka Alco Theaters is one the worst I’ve been to! Me and dad were trying to find an inexpensive movie theater to go to that wasn’t as much as the Cinemark at Boynton Mall. So we went to this one which was hard to find because it was hidden in a little enclave. We went mid-​afternoon. There was mostly old folk with the community that came to see a movie. An old man was freaking out on an employee thinking the employee was trying to play him because he was old. He was yelling and everything and I thought it was hilarious. We were looking at movie choices which were bland. No interesting movies. So we picked Surrogates. Which was horrible btw. The movie theater lobby was so 1980s blue-​themed and boring. The lights were low and the place was DEAD. No games no action. The employees were nice enough but not enough to quench the boringness seething throughout the theater. They were not even doing a good job cleaning up. The theater was dirty. They did not even have enough employees working. I could tell I would easily get a job there. They need help! Inside of the theater was nasty. The floors were sticky. It wasn’t fully cleaned. The movie was horrible on top of that. This theater needs a MAJOR improvement and fixer upper. If you want to see a month old movie and cheap tickets $ 5 (for Palm Beach County), go here. If you want a quality movie theater, go to Delray Beach or Boca Raton for their theaters.

Nothing spectacular to report, the nicer theater south of Boynton with the couch-​style seating was all sold out so this was the default. They did post signs stating which shows were sold out which was helpful seeing as how it was Christmas Day (bless the employees who came to work).
the floor wasnt sticky which i was kind of expecting. trying to park can be a pain if you try and cruise by the entrance because of everyone dropping off passengers. since boynton is a primo retirement spot there’s alot of senior citizens — so there is quite a few in attendance at the movies. some like to repeat every line to their significant other who may/​may not be hard of hearing, and its adorable that they are so attentive to their spouse, but it can get ‘eff’ing annoying when you’re trying to watch a movie. proceed with caution.
