My mother was a patient at Barrington while recovering from a double knee replacement. The staff was friendly yet professional. Knew me by sight after only a day or two. My mother never once complained about her care. As a matter of fact, she loved the staff. They soon became our extended family. Shirley Dodds, the social worker, answered all my questions and was very helpful. I would recommend Barrington to anyone needing rehabilitation or assisted care. They are wonderful and caring.

Barrington Terrace was impressive. It is a great place for your senior loved one. The staff is personable and caring. The residents seemed very engaged and it was hard to believe how many of the residents were downstairs participating in activities. The place feels very homelike. If you are looking for a nice Assisted Living for your loved one Barrington Terrace is your place!

This place is full of very caring, helpful, warm, smart, and knowledgeable people. This is my dad’s 3rd time being here and he loves it! The facility isn’t huge so there are less people to care for so more one on one time for you. The therapy is wonderful and the therapist really work wonders. The staf fhere really makes you feel like they care. Food is pretty good. If you’re looking for a good rehab for you or someone you care for, I would recommend barrington terrace.

Proceed with caution. If you have a loved one that needs to move to assisted living make sure they have an advocate or they will be miserable at Barrington Terrace. The place is run by crooks. Twice my Uncle’s medication«ran-out» when we knew we had counted it and even provided a weeks extra pills. Because the meds had a street value they didn’t last long. But after a lot of whining and complaining those meds«reappeared» a few days later. Still this caused aggravation for my family. Most recently they charged us for 11 Physical Therapy sessions when my Uncle only had five. They don’t ask for patient signatures and the final bills are hard to read. We paid in one lump sum for the 48 nights my Uncle spent there but in the end they called us with some convoluted formula to say we were a day short and needed to come up with another $ 125 dollars — though we know we paid — we pulled him out early. Don’t go here unless there are no other options or if the person can really fight for their own rights cause they will be walked over at Barrington. You get a real run around on the phone when you call to discuss thinngs. You could wait a week before they call you back. This is wrong.
