The Oasis Restaurant & Delivery

This is the WORST oasis I have encountered. I have had a great experience with one in Toledo and Oregon that I frequent but I will never order from this one again.
Let me start this out by saying I work .2 miles away from this location, so on a busy day when we couldn’t leave — five of us collectively ordered and was quoted 30 – 45 min on delivery. Which, during lunch is absolutely reasonable. It was not a very large order with modifications and all off menu. After an hour passes, I call in to check the status because it’s exceeded the quoted time and was told the driver just left. Great! We were fine with that and waited. So then 30 minutes go by… Nothing. So I call and they ensure he is en route. ANOTHER 30 and nothing.
So I call again and they promise the driver left. It takes the driver nearly 20 minutes to deliver this food .2 miles. The drive profusely apologizes and knew nothing about the order. I call after he left because we discover the food is all cold, the ice cream is as good as a milkshake and it was all just not oasis quality. I was told the best they could do was a 10% refund and that was it. No apology or real explanation.
After two calls inquiring about my refund I never saw anything refunded. This place is a lost cause and has no idea what they are doing.

I have given up on so many of their menu items. Their 4pm Fried Chicken tasted old. Mashed Potatoes were spoiled, but they did make a new batch and replaced them. But I think the cook should have noticed they were no longer white. I ordered a vanilla milk shake and it was spoiled. I called and they sent another out. It was also spoiled! The mix was spoiled but they didn’t bother to check. The Subs were a huge disappointment and their bread was stale.
Rib tips have a marinade on them, I wished could have washed off.
Fried Pickles are spicy hot, but there was nothing to denote that.
I used to love their Pattie Melt, but now the bread has a quick swipe of butter before it hits the grill, only the bread comes out ungrilled. Their pizza was from Cottage Inn (excellent) and the last 2 pizzas ordered were so terrible and dried out I threw them away. Fried Green Beans were 30 sec from being burnt. Their Gyro? I can only say they were «pitiful.» Their chicken Alfredo with broccoli would have been decent if it wasn’t for the broccoli, and I love broccoli! I think their lasagna was a frozen Stauffer’s 19.5oz. For the $ 9.99 just buy the Stauffer’s. The Mushroom Swiss Burger was the only one worth eating.
The Good Stuff: Gyro Dip (outstanding), Fried Mushrooms, Pasta with Alfredo Sauce (you get 1 topping free).

The two times I’ve had food delivered, they were out of an ingredient and I had to change my order. Food isn’t bad, but there are better delivery options in town

Well When I ordered tonight Online I thought this would be easy and quick, NO it wasnt, my first mistake was believing that since you can customize your order to include toppings or ingredients that you might or might not want, things would be ok, WRONG! My girlfriends sandwich had all the stuff on it she didnt ask for and IT EVEN SAID NOT TO PUT THOSE DAM THINGS ON THE ITEM ON THE RECIEPT!!! they managed to do it anyway, and when we called to get it fixed you would think if they screw up they would be good enough to get a replacement to you promptly, AGAIN WRONG! it took almost another dam hour to get her fixed food! Forget OASIS, they may be the only place like it around here but its just not worth it!

For as much as I see their delivery vehicles around I am surprised the food is not better. It’s not to say the food is terrible, but it is just alright. The upside is that it is cheap and they basically have everything under the sun. I think because of their lack of specialization, or rather specialization of everything, they have lost some quality. This truly is the epitome of Jack of all Trades Master of None.
As far as delivery, they always seem to be quick and will often offer coupons and specials for further discounts on their already very affordable food.
