Samurai

Worst place I’ve ever heard of I’ve worked in the resturaunt business all my life and this has to be the biggest disgust I’ve ever seen. They are over priced for cheap food and I should know I place the orders for my own resturaunt and samurai is over charging for what they pay for their product. And not to mention they under pay their employees so bad that they might as well be homeless cause they are literally paying their servers $ 2.13 an hour if their lucky. They are lucky I can only rate stars and not negative ones I would personally boycott this resturaunt for lying to their employees and customers. LYING!!! Think about that they are money hungry owners that don’t give two s$%÷s about their employees. By the way half of their staff is family members that hate them. Hope you like this review :)

It’s really clean and pretty. Food has always been good here. Lunch special $ 6.99.

This place was so weird. I eat a lot of places. This one was weird. Someone said it was a renovated bowling alley, I don’t know if it’s true but it’s believable. Really the highlights of my visit were the $ 1 sake bombs and the half price sushi rolls. And the rolls… were, well, weird. Most of them had some sort of fruit in them, many were strawberry. (This is the specialty menu, which was half price, they had more traditional stuff too). I tried a few, all were good, not spectacular, but definitely good. Service was very attentive — the place was empty, so not surprising. I suppose it’s worth giving samurai a try if you’re feeling kind of plucky one evening.

Good food and service. Try the Crazy Snake! It was lunch time and we sat at a regular table for kitchen cooked Hibachi… excellent! Tender steak and veggies.

The service was terrible. There were maybe 2 or 3 other tables there other than our’s and other waiters on staff, but our waiter kept constantly ignoring us and forgetting rather important items (e.g. utensils to eat with). He would pop over for a split second then be gone forever. When the first of our table got something they could eat (a salad) he had nothing to eat it with. There was no utensils at our table. The waiter didn’t show up for a good 10 minutes so he finally walked up to the bar and asked for some since it was right behind us. Then our waiter went ahead and brought the rest of us utensils. We then asked for chopsticks for our sushi (all 3 of us had ordered sushi), but this time he brought chopsticks for everyone except my friend who had gotten up to get his utensils previously even though he also had sushi.
The table was sticky as can be and the floor was slick like oil. The food was very good. The service was terrible. I have had decent service on previous visits but it has been steadily going down hill.

If only I could give the Samurai a zero-​star rating… Our party having been seated and our drink orders taken, we were promptly ignored for the better part of an hour. I must have reminded our waiter to bring my green tea on at least three separate occasions. I ordered a few sushi rolls and a seaweed salad: not one single item materialized. When the other five members of our party were finally served, I had to remind the waiter that I was still waiting for my food. A trip to the kitchen and several blank looks later, it became all too apparent that he had simply forgotten about it. Perhaps he was too busy trying to placate the infuriated customers to our left, who appeared similarly aghast at the beyond-​shoddy service. Regardless, I failed to receive so much as an apology for these oversights. Needless to say, I will not be patronizing this establishment again.

Not repulsive but FAR from the best sushi I’ve eaten. Took their suggestions on some (I got three different rolls) and all of them are bland, too dry and neither of them are remotely worth trying again.
On the other hand, the waitstaff IS friendly and helpful. It’s a shame they don’t have more to work with as far as the quality of food here.
Just… no.

We always enjoy samurai, service is good, sushi is decent, and is reasonably priced for the quality.

Decent sushi all around but very basic in selections. The ambiance is interesting and really close to being great. Good color scheme, modern colors and layout, and Asian feeling without being cheesy. They could divide up the spaces a little better though and utilize better lighting to help it out. Wait service is good and attentive and most are easy to understand. Overall a good place to go. It’s super close to our house which helps motivate us to go there on lazy nights out. It’s not the most spectacular, but it is good overall and consistent.
