Frisch’s Big Boy

A Big Boy restaurant is a Big Boy restaurant and anyone who expects more out of the best that one of these can be is detached from reality and should not be reviewing hamburger joints.
This is a very good Big Boy restaurant and we had excellent Big Boy sandwiches, which I highly recommend to the indoctrinated. The fries are great too.

Very polite server, but only good thing about this big boy. Food was terrible, got the salad bar big mistake! Brown lettuce, flies all over the place half the stuff was picked over. Very dirty, floors were sticky, tables were sticky, but the server was great!

The food was good and everyone was friendly (that I actually saw) but one waitress on duty for the whole place? She was going as fast as possible forgetting some things but nothing major, for only 5 tables occupied they still should have had more staff on duty.

This is an older restaurant, but everything was just fine. Oldies music over the speakers. Keysta was our waitress and she was great. The food was what you would expect from Big Boys, tasty! If you’re looking for fine dinning just keep going, but if you want good food and a relaxed atmosphere then you’ll be fine here.

Stop by here everytime im in ohio lovvve it. its a classic. The waitresses have always been nice and the food is good

Very friendly staff member Tenille (sp?) helped us get some burgers, fries, onion rings here. I like that they had pepsi products rather than other brands. The salad bar looked great and I assume it is comparable to the other Big Boy’s I’ve been to. Good place for a quick bite.

The food is ok. Not a place I would necessarily avoid, but I wouldn’t choose to go there. My family likes it that they have a breakfast buffet. Service was good. Place was clean and everything was nice.

We missed breakfast at the hotel and we weren’t sure what we wanted. Big Boy seemed like a good choices, at least in terms of number of options.
One Big Boy and Super Big Boy later, we both were comfortably full and ready to hop on the road back home. I hadn’t been to a Big Boy in a long, long time so it was a little bit of a walk down memory lane and it’s pretty much as I remembered it.

Tabitha, our waitress was awesome. She was so nice and when I told her I was hungover after she asked how we were doing, she even asked if she was talking too loud. How sweet! I laughed and told her no, she was okay and took our order.
It wasn’t anything fancy. I mean, I ordered a grilled cheese and fries (yay recovery grease) and she gave me the one off the senior menu at that which was great and appropriate since my entire body felt 95 years old that day. I thought to myself, «if this is what I have to look forward to then damn…».
You know when you just need food… something to kill your appetite… to aid your hangover and when something, if you weren’t hungover, wouldn’t taste that great, tastes really good at that moment? Yah that’s exactly how I felt.
Was it the best grilled cheese I’ve ever had? Hardly, but it totally hit the spot at that point. 5-​stars for Tabitha for being a great waitress.
On another note, the gay in me totally thinks that the entire chain needs to update their restaurants looks wise. ;)

I have absolutely no commitment or attachment to the food that this restaurant serves. I’ve been to this place a total of two times in my entire life, one being because it was the only place open when I was starving and the other because it was the only place open when I finally got up the nerve to invite my wife-​to-​be out for the first time to get a bite to eat.
One vanilla milkshake, one cup of coffee, several hours of ridiculously honest conversation, and viola! Eight years of marriage, and counting. Sweetness.

Ok, so Big Boy’s food is pretty nasty. But then again, what can you expect from a place that’s named «Big Boy»? Anyway, they are open 24 hours and have free Wifi, so it’s a good place to go late at night to drink lots of coffee and get your work done.

I tended to be a bit nocturnal so on those few occasions each semester where I needed to study I would find myself at Big Boy once the library kicked me out. So I’ll give it an A-​O-​K.

For about three weeks, I donned a brown dress and green apron and pretended to be a waitress. I was the worst waitress ever. I give props to those that can do it well. Basically, the management just stopped scheduling me. So, technically I guess I still work there… anyway, Big Boy may be famous for burgers, but I think the veggie soup and ranch dressing are «A Number One.»
