They lack customer acknowledgement in this location and that I noticed right away! As a chunky, I wouldn’t even bother with this store under most circumstances! However, I was in the market for some undergarments under the advice of another friend, another Chunky! She told me of the deals she got and I was down! However, when I walked into this location, not a woman working there said a word to me! And not to mention the undergarment section is in the front near the registers! I did see the one woman working there look at me a couple of times, but didn’t open her mouth to say a word! Just rude! Needless to say, I didn’t buy a darn thing! My mother always says, «don’t spend your money to take sh*t,» so I didn’t! I walked in, and walked out after not being acknowledged for being in the store for at least 15 minutes! The store was neat and clean! However, for the money they charge for things, a simple hello, would have made me spending $ 90 on a maxi dress a lot easier!

I’m an avid Lane Bryant shopper. I shop in stores and online and never had an issue until yesterday. I recently ordered online and had it shipped to the store for pick up. Normally, when your package is delivered to the store, you get an email confirmation saying your package has arrived. I track my packages personally and when it’s delivered, I just go pick it up without an email confirmation. I’ve never been an issue before. Yesterday, I go to pick up my purchase. The store was just about empty, which I thought it would be quick and easy. There were three women(including myself) at the time. I was behind a lady doing an exchange. I understood that one of the clerk was new and was being trained by the other clerk. That was fine. However, the third clerk was rude. I greeted her upon walking in and she said nothing. Then when the line began to form, she proceeds past the register and doesn’t come back out for at least close to 10 minutes. I spent half my time bantering with this woman because she says my package is not in store, but I know for sure it is because of the UPS tracking said«delivered» and had the signature. She went back twice and didn’t find it. She gave it to the other clerk to find and she was back less than three minutes with my package. She said she missed it because it wasn’t their package(meaning Lane Bryant’s because I ordered from one of their affiliated sites, Sonsi). Then, we got into another banter because I didn’t get the email confirmation and I wasn’t listed in the book each customer has to sign out their purchase pick up. I tried explaining to her that I track all my packages and that the email confirmation doesn’t come until the aftermath of me picking up my package. The whole point of this experience was just about everything was unneccessary and a waste of time. I didn’t appreciate the rudeness upon entering the store nor going back and forth over something I knew was definitely there. In the end, I didn’t even get an apology for the confusion or delay. I love Lane Bryant, but I’m thinking of not going back to the Bowie Town Center’s store after this experience.

Lane Bryant is a blessing to me. No I’m not a «fluffy» woman but, I know a lot of them. This store like most of them, the clerks are very nice and helpful. They don’t make you feel uncomfortable and not all them are fluffy :8). The store is very organized easy to navigate through. Another cool thing to know if you’re a frequent shopper. You will receive a phone call to alert you about sales, which is pretty cool and annoying as well LOL. This Lane Bryant is in the Town Center, which gives you tons of other places to shop after you have picked out your outfit. They ONLY gripe I have about this Lane Bryant and the rest is the horrible shoe selection. If any Lane Bryant peeps are reading this, get some better looking shoes. There are tons of companies that make larger and wider shoes.
