My husband and I thought this casino and hotel was just ok. We noticed how smoky and hot it was. Staff was very friendly and helpful, however. We decided on Saturday night buffet. Was not impressed… maybe that’s why there were so little people eating there. The dungeness crab tasted like it was frozen, oysters and shellfish were dry and we had to wait for somone to reluctantly cut the prime rib for us for about 10 minutes(bread pudding was awesome!). We were impressed with the pool and hot tub! It was nice. The beds and pillows were the worst part. They were hard as rocks. Our night sleep was not comfortable and both woke up not rested. If we come again will probably stay elsewhere and just visit.

Security is the worst! Saw so many people being carded and turned away! Most were families trying to eat at the buffet.

Incredibly bad service. I had one drink at the bar and was blacklisted. Possibly because I’m Canadian. I won’t be coming back. If you are Canadian do not go to the skagit.

*Meh, I was not impressed even by my low expectations *Rooms were just OK, casino was depressing(more than a usual depressing regional casino) * I don’t get the one drink every 30 minutes in the casino, seems totally strange to me *No real discounts on the rooms and I know how to find them, you are better off finding a local AirBNB and gambling here if that’s your thing

This is for the Market Buffet. Went back again, since we are so close right now, it’s hard to pass up the affordable buffet deals here. Again, food was fair. This time Italian night, a bit more of a limited selection. Meatloaf, pizza, spaghetti, salmon, etc. They have a great idea of doing the stir fry station, but it definitely needs more than one person manning the station.(Considering the same person seems to also be the one to replace low food items, slice the beef, etc). Felt bad for the guy. But he makes a mean stir fry. So our suggestion is, if you want stir fry, go get it ready and in line to be cooked, while you enjoy yourself with your first plate of other items. Went back again, two weeks later. They now seem to have more help in the stir fry section. It does not take very long at all to get your personalized stir fry.

5STARS all the way for this gem of a getaway just a little over an hour north of Seattle! Service is wonderful, the price is beyond affordable, $ 100/night, for what you get(extra large suite with spa-tub and king bed, fireplace, pull out sofa sleeper with two tvs and a clean, clean, clean room). We aren’t big gamblers but go for the amenities, great restaurant(Skillet-the restaurant has delish well prepared prime rib for $ 10!!) and indoor pool and hot tub. We were impressed with the friendly attentive employees and well landscaped grounds. This is a place that works hard to earn your business and they definitely have ours!

One of the worst seafood buffets I’ve ever eaten at!!! Over $ 20.00 for crab legs and shrimp. Carving station was a joke. Meat way over cooked. Nothing had any flavor at all!

Stopped here for dinner & drinks. Went in to the Skagit Skillet, ordered a bloody mary from their«full service bar». Packed full of ice, it was tasty enough but I drank it in a matter of seconds. I’m a lightweight when it comes to drinks & feel the effects of alcohol right away, but I joked that I’d have to order a few more to get a buzz since their wasn’t much in my drink at all. When I ordered another, I was informed by the waitress that I couldn’t have one. This casino ONLYALLOWS1DRINKPERHALFHOUR. And no, you can’t order a double. No, someone can’t order one for you… they watch out for that. So no ordering a shot & a beer. Out of the question! I was also informed that due to previous incidents, Jagermeister has also been banned on the premises. So it’s not REALLY a full service bar, it’s a highly regulated bar, FYI. So we had our single drinks & got our food to go… :p

Much better in terms of less smoke if you drop by after lunch on a weekday. But if you’re into action on the Pai Gow poker table, there’s not much going on… in fact, it’s a less busier naturally, with people at work haha. For the area, it’s still one of the bigger casinos albeit a bit older.

A group of us met here for a friends birthday party for a night of gambling. I am not a gambler; however, my wife enjoys to gamble. We reserved a suite for our stay for $ 164.65($ 149 rate, $ 12.67 tax + $ 2.98 room tax). The suite consisted of a two-way fireplace viewed from the living room and bedroom, an over-sized jetted spa, two flat screen TV’s, a two-line speaker phone, queen-size bed, microwave oven, mini refrigerator, dining/work space, two closets and in-room safe. The room was quite nice for the price. There was a 2 cup coffee pot in the room with the option of tea, decaf or regular coffee. Half and half cream was also provided(the little mini ones). As for the casino itself, I thought it was dreadfully smoky and extremely hot. Perhaps the ventilation system wasn’t working correctly. I was surprised to see the amount of people here considering how far away/remote this casino is. Casino Hours: Sunday — Thursday 9am — 3am Friday & Saturday 9am — 5am The beers and wine were running at about $ 4.50 a glass/pint. There were a few micro brews available such as Mac & Jack and Manny’s. Mini waters are free upon request. There are three restaurants in this casino, one of which is the Market Buffet which offers all-you-can eat steak, prime rib and crab dinner on Saturday nights for $ 24.95 + tax per person. Several people from our group took advantage of the buffet. Since I do not care for buffet style dining, I chose room service. I ordered a chicken quesadilla for $ 11.99 + $ 2 delivery charge + $ 1.92(16% gratuity charge automatically added). The grand total for my dis-appointing quesadilla was $ 17.10. Thank you Skagit for making the birthday boy happy on his special night. That’s what this night was all about whether I like casinos or not.

Monday morning 9:30 a.m. Hardly anybody here. We parked the RV in the near empty lot and went into the casino. Was promptly told i had to move the RV about a mile away and walk back. Decided i didn’t need to give my money that badly and left. we will never be back! Very RV unfriendly!!! Terrible casino.

Not the friendliest place… but they have free coffee. The machines are pretty dirty and it looks like a hangout for regulars. Its kind of boring. Small and there is a lot, too much smoke, or their is something wrong with the ventilation. not sure.

I would not recommend this hotel. Staff was rude upon check in, hassled me because I stayed with my husband and son because we were affiliated with a local sports event. They asked me if they had asked me if I was affiliated with the sports event when I made my reservation, which they did not. Then the manager proceeded to tell me that they would not ask me to leave, but that I could not return. What? Then they said it was because my son was a minor, he’s 18… and I asked then what about the couple behind me in line with two kids under 6??? What? It’s crazy. Anyway, the rooms are clean, but dated.

I have to say, their policy is quite– excuse my French– shit. You have to be 21 or older OR have a room just to be in the place and eat! Way to push away customers! Don’t even bother stopping here. Just drive a few more miles south and there are so much more welcoming casinos that are also as child friendly as it gets.

This casino has a good selection of games. They also have excellent offers for new memberships(players). What I love most about this casino is they have cheaper table games. My ultimate favorite is the $.025 Roulette table game.

I would have to say that Skagit Valley Casino is the best Casino in Western Washington, they hae a REAL good buffet with a good selection of slots and table games. I just had to roll my eyes at those complaining about the cigarette smoke here, Im like HELLO its a Tribal Casino! Only place that you can smoke in a building is a Tribal owned business, No matter what Tribal Casino I have been in, I can smell the smoke in the building, the worse actually is Lucky Eagle Casino near Roy, WA. Anyway, We saw Collin Raye here and stayed the night at their hotel they have on the property and enjoyed it, everyone here was real helpful. My biggest grip was last time I went to their gas station to refill my soda, the cashier wanted to double charge me as I had a 44 ounce cup!(Only time I have ran into that, most of the time the refill price is the same no matter how much drink your filling it with)

The Skagit strikes again! Was in last night. Was told by staff member that if i earned 150 player points on my card, i would receive $ 15. I asked if it happened to be a double points night. Staff member gleefully said, «yes, it is!» Happily went off and played. Got up, got down. Mostly down. Kept checking my points. When i had played enough to earn 165 points, when to the player rewards counter to collect my $ 15. Wrong! Now the same staff member informs me that I have only 83 points. WTF??? «Oh» she says, «For the $ 15 we only count base points.» Wow, can you say bait and switch? Yet again, ripped off st the skagit.

You are waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay better off driving the extra few miles south to the Tulalip. Sure, it’s bigger and more crowded, but I actually WIN there… almost every single time. I pumped dollar after dollar into the slots at the Skag and didn’t win a dime. Food was average and the ventilation was poor. I would not return without a REALLY good reason.

As a concert venue, have to say I’m a huge fan of Skagit Valley Casino Resort Came up to see PRESIDENTSOFTHEUNITEDSTATESOFAMERICA& it was such a fab time! Very small banquet room setup that has a stage, typical banquet /conference chairs & a nice bar area in the room right outside At first we thought the venue would be in the casino but it’s instead right upstairs from the hotel. You’ll want to enter the lobby of the hotel part & go up the small flight of stairs Sound was loud but not too much so which was nice since our seats were right up against the speakers Crowd was very mindful about letting others have a good view & this included the people up & dancing in front of the stage The band is SO much fun & would totally come all the way back up to Seattle, just to see them again
