Stopped by here on a rainy Sunday afternoon after taking the chuckanut drive from Blaine. This little bakery was so warm and inviting and the scrumptious baked goods piled on top of the counter was too good to resist. My husband had the biscuits and gravy made with fresh fluffy homemade biscuits. I had the hearty posole with a generous slice of wild huckleberry pie. Everything was delicious and I would go out of my way to get off from I5 to come here again.

We stopped here for a late breakfast on my way up to Bellingham. As soon as you walk in the aroma hits you I the face and your mouth starts salivating. They had fresh cinnamon rolls just out of the oven. I had a fresh buttermilk biscuit and chorizo gravy, fluffy delicious biscuit and spicy country gravy. My husband had the polenta line cake, like a gooey tangy dense cornbread! I will stop here every chance I get. I can’t wait to try out the rest of their goodies. DONTFORGETTOBRINGCASH!

This little gem in bow is so amazing. We’ve been a few times and every time we go all the bakery items are delicious. The black bottom cupcakes are to die for they are the best. If you’ve never been your missing out.

I loved this little bakery/coffee shop! Located right next door to the Rhody Café, we’d passed up on dessert at the café in order to stroll over to the bakery and see what was in the display case. And we found: LIMEPOLENTA Cake — yep, totally innovative, and superbly delicious! It’s a tiny bundt-type cake made from a polenta flour base, and then liberally soaked in lime juice — at least that’s how I imagine the rich, moist, citrusy flavor is created. Oh, So, Good. Had a lovely time chatting with the waitstaff/barista, and enjoyed seeing a bucket of «free-range plums» on the counter as well. See the picture. This place truly supports local agriculture, and with its reasonable prices, lets their customers support it too. This spot is worth a stop on Chuckanut Drive!

Lemon bars, lime polenta cakes, coconut cakes, oh my! What can I say. Amazing! Fresh baked goodies, sandwiches made to order, and delicious cappuccinos. I had the lime soaked polenta cake which was out of this world. Just the right amount of lime, fluffy, and soooo good. The lemon bar had a great crust to lemon custard balance. The top of the lemon custard browned to perfection. And the cappuccino… just well made. Great bakers and baristas!

After hiking up Oyster Dome, my husband needed coffee and I needed a treat! We stopped here on our way back to Seattle. It’s cash only, so we were limited to a total of $ 12 of purchases, but had no problem getting a cookie, a cupcake, and a coffee for well under that! I had the black bottomed cupcake and my husband had the gingersnap cookie. Both were delicious — clearly freshly made and not overly sweet like some back goods can be. Definitely recommend making this a stop if you are in the area!

Stopped in to grab a slice of their Coconut Pineapple Cake. It is dense and delicious! Didn’t realize they make sandwiches; ordered the 4″ artichoke hearts, roasted red peppers, goat cheese and pesto. It was very good! I’ll be back to try their other sweets. Conveniently located on Chuckanut next to The Rhody Café.

Holy Moses the Black Bottom Cupcake is Uh-mazing. The bottom half is chocolate with chocolate chips and the top half is cheesecake with chocolate chips. Big, sweet and moist ;) Quite possibly the best cupcake I’ve ever had. And I live so far away. Wahhh! All of the baked goods look delicious. I almost got the brownies, which I’m sure are to die for, but am so happy I tried the BBC. Cute little bakery, friendly staff, reasonably priced. If you are in the area definitely stop in for delicious treats. You won’t be disappointed. I wish I lived closer, but I’ll be back!
